With Spring becoming a more prominent season  in Evermore, Artemis had slowly been shedding the winter clothing; with the weather getting warmer and warmer. The Celestial loved that time of year. New Beginnings, new life and beauty in the world. And after, what she had been through; seeing Evermore liven up in spring was making her feel a bit better. Just hearing birds chirping, the smell of blossoming flowers, and the sunlight; what wouldn’t make a person feel better?

Artemis had been out of the castle, after breakfast. Her camera around her neck; as she had ventured to a small park in Evermore. It was a nice sunny day; so she wanted to make the best of it. Maybe make a new collection of photographs for her spring portfolio/s.  The light breeze ruffling through her hair. Swaying it back and forth. Artemitra had to pull out a few extra bobby pins from her purse...sliding it into her hair. To help keep some strands pulled back and out of her face. Using the reflection from the fountain water, as her mirror of sorts.

After getting her camera ready. Artemis began her small photo-shoot. Taking in the beauty of the park along the way. Since it was still morning, it wasn’t busy yet. Perfect time for her to be here really.

45 minutes later, a beautifully colored bird had caught her eye. She hadn’t seen anything like it before. It was all different shades of blue, with a slight purple tint ontop of it’s head. “Hey, little birdy..you’re beautiful.” Artemis cooed at the bird, attempting to get a bit closer to it; so she could snap a photo of it. She was being careful not to startle the small creature, in fear it might fly off if she did. Just as she got into position; about to snap a few photos; something else had startled the small creature. “Aww come on.” The Celestial huffed slightly. Throwing her hands up in the air, her camera still dangling around her neck.

“Solo mi suerte. Alguien más asustando al pájaro ... qué grosero.” Muttering to herself in her mother tongue, Artemitra turned around to see whom or what had startled the pretty bird. Only for her chocolate hues to slightly widen in slight shock and surprise. An Aspect. Not just any Aspect, The Aspect of Realms. One of her former friends. Artemitra had mainly knew Ven via Cora and Erythreus back in the good old days, on the Isle of Skye; before he had her people locked up.

For a few moments, the Celestial looked speechless. Did she just have some sort of a pull towards the Aspects? This was the third, she run into since being in Evermore; having tried to evade most of them for the last few years, her luck ran out when she first bumped into the broody brother Erythreus.  “Ven?” Artemis breathed out, once she managed to find her vocal cords. “Fancy, seeing you here.”

People who were close to him knew his talent in photography but rarely did anyone venture to inquire about the origin of it. It was almost a given thing- maybe a hobby that subscribed to being considered cool in their day and age but Ven could still remember rather vividly his first encounter with a camera.

When things were easy to obtain, no one really understood their value but having lived as long as he had, Venetus recollected times when he would have done anything to preserve a memory or a face and have no means to do it. It was one of the reasons why, when the camera finally came along, he was hooked.

He was not a picky photographer, he snapped at anything that caught his eye, but people were certainly his favourite subject to capture. Everything else seemed somewhat constant to him like nature or animals but humans and supernaturals were rare changing beings.

Having been thrown out of the manor after weeks of wallowing in his sorrow, Ven took the moment to get some time to himself and engage in something that made him happy. He had been walking around the park just taking in the sights when a wayward rock caught him off guard and he stumbled and swore. It was fortunate that he did not land on his butt because a moment later, a familiar figure called out to him.

His gaze rested on her and a genuine smile bloomed across his lips "You shouldn't be that surprised. I own the realms afterall" he teased before closing the distance "What are you doing here? No secret clandestine meetings I hope. A park is way too cliche for a date"

The Celestial was a little glued on the spot. Even with her re-forming friendships with the Aspects of Darkness and Death, she was still a little weary and cautious of what the Ailwards might do. Sometimes it was surprising, that Cora and Ery were the first Aspects. She was making amends with; given they were the darkest of all. But at the same time, the one’s she had been closest to, once upon a time. Venetus was another, that she had considered a friend, back in the day. Ven’s genuine smile, made her ease up slightly. “I guess, I wasn’t expecting to run into you.” she said softly. Which considering they lived in the same city, and that he was the Aspect of Realms, was a silly thing to say.

A slight laugh escaping her, at his comment. “Me? A date?” she waved her hand, as if he was joking. “I haven’t been on one since…” trailing off slightly. Trying to place, when she had last been on something, that even resembled a proper date. The point was, it’s been a while since she had been on a date. Shaking it off. “Not a date.” Artemis settled on telling Ven. “I was just enjoying some time out in nature and taking some photographs.” she held up her camera, waving it slightly. “What about you? Don’t you dragons always brood in your nest?” she joked, knowing how a few of the male Ailwards were like, brooding. Especially Erythreus and from what she heard from Cora, now Ven.

Pursing her lips, in slight thought. Artemis bit the inside of her cheek, a little awkwardly for a few moments. Debating what to say to an old friend.

“I suppose, I’ll be the first one to say….you look like you've been keeping well.” Artemis muttered.

It was a convenient thought to stay stuck in the darkness as he had been, and believe that he had no one to care, or that he was doomed completely. While he had been grumpy to have been pushed out unceremoniously out of the manor, Ven how felt grateful for it. He had forgotten that he wasn't alone. He had certainly lost sight of the thing that held them all together, but no more.

It was way, instead of surly responding to her queries and observation as he might have done a week ago, he simply smiled. The irony wasn't lost on him when she mentioned no expecting to run into him. With the sort of recluse he had become, he'd be surprised to run into anyone.

"But I hope you aren't displeased to see me" He could have explained to her about the darkness that had consumed him, but found himself holding his tongue. Just for a few moments, he would like to just be a creature without too much care in the world.

"It seems you and I, had the same idea" Ven also gestured to the camera around his neck. "What pictures were you taking? Can I see? It has always fascinated me, how different people view the same subject differently. When you are the Aspect of Realms, the concept of time and change is a certainly skewered."

He could relate to her in terms of not having a date either. Though, some of his siblings were in a relationship, the idea felt strange and foreign to him. He had, once upon a time, wooed ladies and gents alike, but the Ven of the past was so utterly different to the man he had now become, it sometimes seemed like he carried memories of a stranger in his head.

"What kind of literature have you been reading? Dragon's don't brood, they spite fire" His easy grin felt real, after a really long time "I haven't seen you around our nest in a long while. Don't tell me you are afraid of Malva's tiger and decided never to step foot there. It would be a pity if that's your reason. We have some new sites, to now photograph"

Slinging his arm around her shoulder in a friendly manner, he began ambling around "No doubt Cora must have already filled your head with just how 'not well' I have been, but thanks. She and Henri did have a point when they all but pushed me out of the door today. I was thinking I need solitude, but I'm definitely glad to have met you again. Where you heading back, or do you have some time to hang out with a broody dragon, as you say?"

It was a bit weird to hear Ven ask, if she was displeased to see him. Artemis wanted to question him, given how things had ended a few years back, but she bit down her tongue slightly. Don’t mention it...Just don’t. No good will come of it, and you know it Artemis. She scolded herself mentally. “That’s a heavy question Ven.” The Celestial said honestly. “You and your siblings, have a way of creeping back into my life.” It was just a general comment, no disdain in there. But he was the third Ailward, she had crossed paths with.

“I didn’t know you liked Photography?” It seemed like it was a new hobby for Ven. Not remembering him liking such a form of arts, back in the olden days. “Oh, I was trying to take a photo of this pretty bird, but I think you might have scared it away.” she playfully jested. But she took off her camera, handing it to Ven so he could see her photos. “I was just taking some nature photos though.

A slight laugh escaped her, as he questioned her about literacy. “Then what would you call, Ery sitting around, moping and keeping himself locked up in his room, all day then?” she questioned. “Sounds like brooding to me, if you ask?!” Her eyebrow rose. “But we both know, your kind doesn’t even spit fire.” she jested, as they spoke about dragons. “We both know, me visiting the mansion, would probably be unwise...unless you’d like Malva’s tiger, to devour me for lunch.” Artemis pointed out, making a slight face at the thought of it. She had heard about Malva, having a pet Tiger and still wondered how it was legal. Then again, Ven and his siblings turned into Dragons.

As he wrapped his arm around her. The Celestial was a big surprised, but patted his back. “She mentioned something...I am sorry about Vlad.” She said softly, giving her condolences to the Ailward. She knew it was tough on them all. But Artemis knew Vlad a bit, back in the olden days, before things went to hell...so to speak. Nodding. “Well, at least someone managed to help you out in your time of need.” Artemis paused for a moment, debating if she should go or stay. “I have some time. Anyways...besides brooding and drinking yourself numb, how have you been?” she asked, genuinely curious if there was anything else going on in his life, that might be at least partially good.

Ven couldn't help the amused grin that crossed his lips at her statement. He wouldn't doubt for a second that the aspects had crossed her path, because the aftermath of Vlad's death was just slightly fading and each of his siblings were coping with it in their own unique way, many getting out of the house to explore places and get distracted. Ven himself tried to be away from the manor each day in an attempt to get away from his wrecked headspace. There were days that worked and then days that did not work, but Ven was taking each day as it came. "Why of my siblings did you meet this time?" he asked her with a smile.

Ven fiddled a little with his device, his mind going back to the time when photography was first invented and how curious and excited he was to be able to capture memories. He wasn't open about his feelings with anyone, Cora being the only who came close to get any confession from him, but he was definitely glad to be talking about a subject he was passionate about. "I've had this hobby for a while but it's more on and off. I don't often have the time to be as carefree as earlier" Which was completely ironic given that he was the aspect of time, but perhaps it just made him realise just how fickle time could be.

The mention of Ery had a shaking his head, a small smile still lingering on his lips. Ery was something else altogether, but the aspect decided to check on him when he got back to the manor, if he could ever get a hold of him that is. "You should know my now that Ery is a seperate category and grouping him with us wouldn't work." Ven joked, but he was neverthless worried about Ery. His drinking habits were legendary but they weren't healthy or even any semblence of a solution for the darkness that lingered within each aspects' head.

"Malva's tiger is extremely well-fed and pampered. I doubt she'd think of you as a meal, but as for a playmate, I am not sure. She is of the opinion that tiger scratches and growls are a way of showing affection. " Ven commented, his attention turning to the pictures on her camera, nodding his head as he studied them. "These are really good. I have always found nature photography to be hard, though many wouldn't agree with me. It's hard to capture beauty than its absence."

As Mitra spoke her condolences, Ven let out a tired sigh, not wanting to think too much about it. "Yeah, I may have not appreciated their company but I'm definitely grateful to have them in my life. But I've been as well as possible, coping and everything. What about you? You still do photography gigs right? Attended any interesting recently?" He inquired curious as to how the Celestial had kept herself occupied in her own time, knowing that next to bartenders, photographers were the ones who met the most interesting people.

Of course, Artemitra half expected Ven’s question about whom she had run into. “Well for one, the broody one.” She half said in a joking tone, referring to Ery. Her ex. It still sometimes racked her mind, of her past connection to the Aspect of Death. “But other than Ery, I also run into Cora. Then there’s you.” Which in a way was Ironic. They were the three that she had been the closest to, so in a way it made sense. So she tried not to be too surprised, how the Ailwards were making their way back into her life. Fingers crossed, for a fresh due-over, now that they were all in Evermore. Not wanting to hold onto past grudges, more than she already had.

The Celestial had cocked her head and rose an eyebrow, at the Aspect. It sounded so weird. He was the Aspect of Time. Surely, he could make some time for himself, right? “You either need to hang around Deus more...or make some free time for yourself.” Almost wanting to point out that he was the Aspect of Time. But maybe hanging around the Aspect of Life, might cheer him up a little bit. One could hope. But it was interesting to learn that they had the same hobby. “Seems like you have a good camera on you.” Artemis might still be a bit behind on technology. God knows, she only knew how to work with her phone, her computer took a bit more effort to learn and as far as the media went; Facebook and Instagram were her go to. The rest was a mystery to her still. But when it came to Cameras, she knew a little bit. Given that she had went through a few, to find the one that suited her and her work the most.

The Celestial couldn’t help but laugh, when she heard what Ven said about Ery. As true as it was, it was still heavily amusing. “Mhh that’s true. I half wonder if he’s made out of liquor, given his tolerance.” she joked. No man could tolerate that much alcohol and still carry on drinking, she would always think to herself. But Ery always defied those thoughts, with how much he could drink before getting hammered.

The brunette looked a little skeptical, as they were talking about Malva’s tiger. “Mhh, to me a tiger scratching and growling, screams ‘I am hungry and gonna eat you up.’ “ The Celestial made a slight face, as she said that. As he studied her work for a few moments, she smiled at his comments about them. “Thanks. I find nature interesting. I agree, it’s not the easiest...but if you find the right angle and what you’re trying to capture in nature, it’s easier.” Or at least, that’s what Artemis found, when she was taking photos of nature. “I think I always found architecture harder. Can’t always get the right compositions and shots, to show it off, for the finer details.” Hence, why she didn’t take many photos of old buildings, even if she found them fascinating.

Vladimir was a sore subject, she could tell that much. Giving him a soft sympathetic smile. “Having someone, always helps.” He wasn’t alone. He had his siblings...and the guards. His family. Just like, she considered most of the Celestials, to be her family. “Mhh, I’ve tried to keep myself busy. Yeah I do, but I also had some of my work accepted into the local art gallery here in the city, so I've been working on projects for them to display.” As he asked if she attended anything recently, she couldn’t help but think of one event. “An old friend of mine Astoria, hosted a party not long ago. It was her way of wanting to get to know the ambassadors and city’s people. Pretty good Party. She needed a photographer for the event, so of course she asked me, when we ran into each other.” She smiled at the memory, as The Celestial thought of a certain male, that also popped into mind, with that party. Making her slightly blush, as she thought about Jem.  “It was an interesting night.” The Brunette had met a lot of people, with her line of work. Some are more interesting than others.
