Erythreus sat in his room thinking about his purpose in "life" which made him chuckle since he was technically dead, and the protector of it "oh the irony" he muttered  as a maid came in with clean bed sheets, "really, I can do my own bedding, my own clothes, and everything else that concerns me .. I don't need a maid" he said bitterly, he despised having this kind of luxury "Thank you Judy, but you can tend to the other rooms" he said, gesturing her away with the wave of his hand, slamming the door behind her.

Ery shook his head... why did they have maids? They had all suffered equally when they spent their lives in pain before they'd formed together... so they knew not to take anything for granted, "But here we are" he whispered to himself clenching his jaw, but Ery knew of one other man who was nearly just like him, and it pained him that he hadn't had the chance to spend time with the Therian in mind.

Wandering over to his wardrobe that only held black clothes, he pulled out a black tee, black leather pants, his leather jacket, and his grunge boots. Quickly showering, he shrugged into his clothes, and styled his hair as usual, departing his dimly lit room, his room really did look like death, black and red satin everywhere, candles always lit, and a desk where he sat and wrote in his journal... Ery was nothing but a brooding mess. He wanted some "fun" tonight, and knew just who to go to for it.

With that, Erythreus hopped onto his Ducati Panigale and sped off, the sun was just about to set, and nightfall would soon be taking place, when Ery liked it best. Pulling off at the entrance of the woods, he slid his helmet off and dropped it on the ground, he wasn't worried about someone stealing it, he'd just hunt them down and take it back, in his own dysfunctional way. After walking a ways into the forest, finding the only secluded place there, he picked it out as Dominic's place. Being a brooding man just like himself, this was the perfect isolated place to be.

Walking out back where he heard noises, there he seen Dominic, polishing, or cleaning his bike, he wasn't sure, but he knew it was Dominic. "Dominic" he said simply nodding his head to him, walking over to look at his bike... "nice, I left mine at the entrance of the woods" he stated, glancing around, making sure he hadn't been followed. IT wasn't often the Aspect of Death was out and about, and when he was, people made a deal of it. He despised it, but he shrugged it off. "I was hoping you would join me at the pub for a drink" he said, his accent as thick as the clouds above them. "I haven't gotten to properly meet you yet, and you're probably the only one who understands me" he added, and waited for Dominic to catch up to everything he had just said.

"Being out feels.... odd" he muttered under his breath and pushed his shades onto his head, so he could see better. He preferred confined spaces, the outdoors annoyed him because of the people who littered the streets, Dominic thankfully wasn't like those people though, and he was the only one who sat off in his own way, deciding to live away from the manor. Erythreus was in the process of doing just the same.

As the shot went off, there were a few screams and then the deafening silence that came after the loud explosion of the weapon. It took a second for his brain to realize he'd been shot as the pain began to sear through his shoulder. Dominic grit his teeth more in annoyance than the fiery burn that ripped through his skin. He grabbed his left shoulder instinctively with his right hand and grunted. It wasn't the first time he'd been shot and if they got out of this alive, he expected it wouldn't be the last time either. Glancing over his shoulder, it looked like the bullet exited out the back in a through and through which was good news.

Dominic waited with as much patience as he could for his opening. Knowing there were more people coming who wanted to essentially use Erythreus to bring their loved ones back from the dead by any means necessary meant they needed to hurry. The gunman looked around wildly for a moment as Ery said the man's deceased wife was in the room with him. Dominic wasn't sure if this were actually true, but it didn't matter. This was the moment. The guard charged forward the couple of steps that were between them and grabbed the man's arm that was holding the gun, pushing it towards the ceiling. Another shot went off, but it flew passed Ery's head by a few inches. Dominic wrapped his arm around the gunman's and pressed his other hand against the man's elbow, snapping it inward and causing the gun to fall to the floor. The man howled out in pain and Dominic took the opportunity to kick the man on the side of his kneecap, crushing the bone and dropping him to the floor in a heap.

He then turned to his watch and looked at the aspect in concern as he put a hand on his shoulder. "Are you okay?" Dominic scanned the man quickly and didn't see any injuries. Suddenly, a loud crash came from the front of the club and he could see the madman's backup had arrived. Dominic picked up the two handguns on the ground, placing his own in the holster behind his back. He quickly stood in front of Ery and pushed him towards the back exit where some of the others that were still remaining in the club began to escape. Dom didn't hesitate to open fire at the people coming inside to provide cover for them as they ran for the door. It was clear they weren't expecting the opposition as they all ducked behind any form of protection.

They burst through the big metal door and were immediately met with a few people on the other side with guns drawn. Dominic knew they wouldn't kill the aspect. They clearly needed him in whatever ridiculous idea they had about bringing their family members back. On the other hand, they certainly didn't need his guard around. He kept the gun raised at the handful of people surrounding them as they all had their own trained on them. They were sorely outnumbered and Dominic wasn't sure how they were going to get out of this. There was a van that was idling not far away and he had the feeling it was going to be their transport to wherever they planned on bringing them.

"What should we do, Marcus?" a woman asked, her eyes flickering to the man that was in front of them; the one Dom's gun was trained on. From what he could tell by their scents, every single one of these people were human, and he had the feeling this Marcus was the guard who felt wronged by the loss of his wife and had orchestrated all of this.

Marcus looked Dominic up and down and then eyed his injured shoulder as he felt the blood trickling from the wound. "Bring them both. We'll make use of the guard." The woman who had spoken lowered her weapon and went to open the back of the van where he could see shackles attached to the floor and walls. "Let's go," he said, but it seemed to be more to Dominic than the people who were part of his group. With a sigh, he tossed the gun on the ground and raised his hands again with a grimace from the pain of his injury. There was no point in trying to fight. They weren't getting out of this situation and if they decided to shoot Dominic again as more incentive to get moving, that would make him even less useful later on with another bullet wound.

The people around them closed in and began patting them each down. One of them pulled his other gun from the holster before pushing him towards their ride. Dominic turned his head quickly to Ery as they ushered them on. "I'm sorry, man." He cursed himself internally. This wasn't supposed to happen. They were just going out for a normal night of fun and now he was failing him at being his guard. As the shackles went around his ankles and wrist, he felt a burning sensation on his skin that made him grunt. They were made of silver. These assholes really did do their research. They quickly latched Erythreus across from him before leaving two of the men inside with them and closing the van doors. Dominic sat on the floor of the van and closed his eyes grimacing, trying to push down the pain as he leaned his head back against the wall. The van began to pull off and he looked over at the aspect wondering where in the hell they were being taken.

Guilt stricken was the understatement of the year as the Aspect of Death watched his guard take a bullet. Rage consumed Ery in that very second, and if something happened to Dominic he would have never been able to forgive himself. But Ery found himself just as relieved as Dom probably felt to see that the bullet had exited out the other side. At least he knew he'd survive that shot. Trying to distract this deranged man for Dom to get the upperhand on the situation had been a little more work than the Aspect figured it would be. Lying had never been a strong point for Ery, and right now that's all he was doing.

When Dominic finally charged forward and grabbed the man's arm, another shot went off, this time ringing right through Erythreus's ears. For a brief second, Ery felt himself just about everywhere, thinking he'd been shot. When he realized he hadn't been, it felt like his lungs had filled with brand new oxygen, like he could breathe for the first time ever. "holy fuck .. I don't think this was in the job description" the Aspect grumbled, sending a bitter glare towards the blooming idiot who had rounded up basically an entire army of people to use him to bring their loved ones back from the dead; something Ery never assumed would happen to him, but when he put thought into it, it made sense that people would think he could simply just bring people back that they'd lost.

When Dom finally got control of the gunman, Erythreus winced and began gesturing with his own body each time a bone snapped in the other man, something you'd likely see in a comedy, but the sounds of the man's bones snapping, was a little overwhelming, but it had also impressed the Aspect to say the least. He watched, wearing a smile in that moment. When Dom then looked to his watch before looking back to Erythreus asking if he was okay, Ery nodded "Im fine, it's you that i'm concerned about right now" he admitted as blood continued pouring from the hole in his shoulder. There had been no time at all for Erythreus to speak again and suggest that they get out of here so Dom could heal or whatever he had to do to fix the fact that he had a pretty big hole in his shoulder before the gunman's group of backup appeared.

Being pushed out of the way, Erythreus practically growled. It certainly didn't feel good to watch Dom stand in front of him, but he knew that there was no other way between an Aspect and his guard. Erythreus knew this wasn't going to go well for him or Dom either one, they were outnumbered at this point, and now those who outnumbered them spoke of making good use of Dom which boiled Ery's blood. "WAIT" he finally snapped at them, but to no avail since Dominic had slid his gun across the floor, and pulled over to those who had complete control over this situation. "Hurt him and ill become useless" he then said, almost sure that he could have glared daggers through each and every one of them.

In the next moment, Ery and Dom shared a look; a look of guilt to say the least. Ery only smiled though when Dominic said he was sorry, shaking his head 'no' at him in return. And while he couldn't exactly say that he had an idea, he did give Dom a look that he hoped he'd catch onto. Now that they were in the van though, a sense of helplessness hit Ery pretty hard, watching Dom grunt, knowing he was in pain and there wasn't a damn thing he could do right now hurt him a little. "You really think that if you all keep hurting this man.. that i'm gonna help any of you?" he questioned, eyeing the two that were left to guard him and Dom as the rode to whatever destination these people were taking them to. The only reason Erythreus hadn't done anything yet was because if he and Dom could see where they were taken to, they could shut it down, and come back  later after they got free of this mess to burn this little operation to the ground once and for all.

When the can came to a stop, Erythreus glanced towards Dominic who sat in the floor of the van in immense pain from the silver of the shackles. "So, let me guess, even you two assume I can bring your loved ones back from the dead? Did you ever stop and think to ask yourselves if they even wanna return? Why did they die?" Ery asked, knowing he had to do something.. rather quickly. Figuring a brief distraction wouldn't hurt, he continued with his questions. "I mean if it was me, and I died from an illness, I wouldn't wanna come back, even if I could bring them back, who's to say they wouldnt return in the shape they left in.. i'm not God man.. so yeah, even if I could do it, they'd probably come back the same way they left" the two men shared a look before one of them used the back side of his gun to hit Ery in the face "Shut your mouth, speak again and youll eat the bullets loaded in this gun"

he stated, before he and the other were let out of the van just for the doors to be shut again.

Ery could barely hear what was beind said on the other side of these doors, but he figured Dom may be able to hear better than him, but that was up in the air as well considering he was shackled by silver and the only thing he could probably think about right now was getting those shackles away from his skin. "I wanted us to see where they were bringing us, so we could come back after we get out of this.. because we will get out of this, and burn this shit hole to the ground" he stated, almost struggling to look down to his guard, and the more he did, the angrier he got. Even if it was rare, Erythreus wanted to protect him more than he did himself, not the other way around like it had been for the past hour or two. And the last thing Ery wanted was for Dom to feel guilty, they'd started this night with enjoying themselves, and the Aspect of Death was hell bent on it ending that way, or any other way than it seemed to be right now.

"Can you move at all?" Erythreus then asked, observing everything around them right now, clearing his throat when he saw the vent in the top of the van that he assumed was connected to the nobs up front where the driver was. He assumed some kind of mist, or fog would come through that vent and knock them both out, but thankfully enough Ery had his wits about him right now. "If they've truly done their research, they know they can kill me with magic. I have a pretty shitty feeling that if I don't do what they want, they'll use magic to motivate me.. just enough could kill me though" he stated, hoping it wouldn't come to that before he figured out a way or Dom figured out a way to get them out of this. "We either escape now, and go full force on the rest of them to shut this down, or we can worry about getting out of this alive, and coming back with a few more helpful hands.. but either way, those around us right now have to go" the Aspect stated, before the doors swung back open.

Ery cleared his throat, anger boiling his blood again when they pointed the gun at Dom's head. "We really don't need him.. but if we kill him you won't talk. Right?" they questioned, but Erythreus only gave a sinister grin "You do realize I can fuck you up, and not move a muscle. Right?" he questioned in return. Death-force, something that would allow Erythreus to to conjure, shape or manipulate any kind of weapon with perfect skill. And right now, he did the only thing he could think of which was manipulate the guns these men pointed to his guards head, reversing their actions, manipulating the guns to turn on them instead, and while it appeared as though they were holding guns to their own faces, Ery glanced to each one of them until he found the one with the keys. "Unlock him. Now" he spoke simply, and when they refused to even so much as blink an eye, Ery used that same abiility to cock their guns "next move is on the trigger. unlock him" he said again, this time, much to his relief, the man with the keys unlocked the shackles around Dom, then Ery himself.

Ery knew something much bigger was waiting on them though, they had no idea how many people were actually here. "How many of you are out there?" he questioned, trying to stall until the effects of the silver wore off and Dom could regain his strength. Erythreus figured that Dom had been sitting there figuring out a plan all this time and now that the shackles were being removed, Ery wouldn't stand in his way no matter what he decided the appropriate thing to do was, even if punishment came to mind, right here and right now, Ery would have gladly helped.

Dominic groaned as his head lolled back against the side of the van. The pain from the silver burned his skin with every minute move he made. It wasn't so much the feeling of the burn against his flesh that had him angry, it was the fact that he couldn't do anything to stop these people from doing whatever they thought was necessary to get Erythreus to do something that wasn't within his power. However, he would be lying if he said he didn't wish the power of bringing a dead one back to life wasn't something that could be done by the aspect. Only some years ago, Dominic might have been one of the idiots in this group of broken people looking for any chance to see a loved one again. He would've done anything to bring back his mother. Anything.

The drive continued on for nearly forty minutes and Dom tried whatever he could to make out familiar sounds along the way. The blaring of the train that passed which only ran after the late hours meant they were heading to the downtown area as they stopped at the tracks and waited for it to pass. The unique smell of the old coal factory which had closed years ago on the edge of the river which ran through all the territories. Even the rushing of the water was familiar to Dominic for he knew the currents of the water like the back of his hand while they went over the bridge that lead into Therian territory. It was only another mile of two from this bridge and Dominic knew fairly well where they were being taken.

As the van came to a stop, he nodded toward Erythreus as he spoke, attempting to maneuver himself onto his knees. "I'm fine," he replied automatically with a grunt even though that would've been the answer he gave if all his limbs had been cut off. He wasn't the type to complain. His hues wandered down to the redness of his wrists as the shackles clanked noisily from the slack of chains. The staining of the blood that pooled from the gunshot wound on his shirt had finally stopped, meaning his healing factor seemed to be kicking in, but he knew it would be slower than normal  as his body was reacting to the silver.

The muffled voices of the kidnappers were barely audible to him as he closed his eyes and tried to concentrate on the words. Dom could only hear bits and pieces of the conversation, but as the rest of the vehicles pulled up, any chance of overhearing them was gone while the tires rolled over the rocky, dirt road. The door to the van suddenly flew open again and the two men who had been guarding them stood with their guns pointed. The anger began to boil inside of him again. He would be no good to the aspect if he was dead and for now, Dominic was waiting for the opportune moment to make a move.

It suddenly surprised the therian to see Erythreus becoming the assertive one even as he stood there with a gun to his face. The aspect he knew was usually locked away, quiet, and brooding, but to see him now attempting to take control of the situation was something unlike he'd ever seen. It was probably unlike many had ever seen, but there was a reason he was seen fit to take on the role of watching over death. He was worthy to protect his element and Dom only wanted to be worthy of protecting him. As Ery used his powers to control the guns that were now pointed back to the two men, he couldn't help himself, but to bum rush the man that released his bindings. Dominic and the man fell out of the van, the therian on top of him as he landed more than a few punches to the gunman's face.

Dom shakily stood in his rage as the adrenaline coursed through his veins. His eyes fell over the gun that was discarded on the ground that had once been directed at his face. He reached down for the weapon, but was suddenly stopped in his tracks as he felt the air being forced from his lungs. Dominic dropped to a knee and keeled over looking for the source of the magic that was now causing him to be completely useless. More of the people who had been at the club earlier came rushing out of the house as they saw the scene unfolding which had he and Ery getting the upper hand. They quickly spread out to take control as he felt a searing pain shoot through his body, letting out a gasp when he was able to gulp the air he so desperately needed. Through the straining, his eyes began to turn white as the anger continued to boil inside him and he saw the diviners who were casting the spells safely on the porch as they continued their magic against them.

He looked over to Erythreus who was now doubled over from the pain inflicting spellwork. "Stop!" he exclaimed, but was quickly met with a punch to the face. Dominic glared at the man who'd hit him as two others wrapped the silver cuffs back around his wrists and began dragging him to the house. A woman quickly pulled the staff from the aspect's belt and Dom knew they were in more trouble than they had been. Without his staff, Erythreus was nothing more than an immortal being, stripped of his powers. Soon both he and the watcher of death were being forced into the house where he saw a circle of more people who were nothing like the ones who had been physically handling them. They were made up of older people who were frailer and wouldn't have stood a chance if they had attacked he and Erythreus, but it was clear they were still there for the same purpose; hoping to see their loved ones walk the earth again.

Dominic was put to his knees near the circle with a gun pointed to his head as they continued forcing Ery to the center of the gathering. His eyes flitted to the woman who held his staff and then to the diviners who were vigilant in case they needed to cast again should they choose to push back against them. The man who had seemed to be in charge from the club walked up to meet the aspect in the middle of the circle. "You do as we say or we kill him, understand?"

The therian spit blood to the floor before speaking. "Don't do a thing they ask for, Erythreus. They'll kill me anyway." Dominic was met with a blow to the back of the head which toppled him forward. He heard the gun cock behind him as he lifted himself to sit back on his heels, holding the aspect's gaze. There were audible gasps from some of the people there. It was clear they were only on board in hopes of the group's shared outcome and not for what it might entail to get it.

"Do it or he dies!" The man yelled, his features going wild as he grabbed onto Ery's shirt with both hands to yank him closer. "Cross into whatever realm you need to so we can get to our loved ones!"

Between the groans, and curse words, the ride seemed longer than it probably was. Erythreus could barely even glance at his guard, his heart tightning at the sight of Dominic with a bullet hole in his shoulder. He could see that Dom had went somewhere in thought, so for a brief little while, the Aspect remained silent. He wasn't sure what they had in store for he and Dom, and even though Erythreus knew he could have done easily transformed into a dragon and ended this within the blink of an eye, he wasn't sure that revealing his staff would do any good right now. That would likely be something they would have tried taking from Ery. Aspect had been sent to live another life, in order to bring balance and peace; and it was times like these that the Aspect of Death felt conflicted with his duties. He wouldn't be bringing peace, but perhaps it meant to restore balance by ending the lives of these miserable twats.

Erythreus rolled his oceanic blue optics. He knew Dom was lying, and that he was far from fine, but he also knew he couldn't hold a debate about a man's well being who let absolutely nothing slow him down. No pain no gain, that's how Ery had always viewed Dom's way of living. Still though he hated this whole fucked up ordeal. Maybe if he had been human, and he had lost someone that he absolutely just couldn't live without, he would have understood this group of people a little better. But, Erythreus welcomed death when it came, it was part of living. To never die would only mean you never lived.

The Aspect could only conjure up a smile when he noticed Dom's shirt had stopped leaking blood. For a while, he didn't think about Dom being in the guard, or that he was even a Therian, he feared losing him. That fear had vanished however, and Ery finally felt like he could breathe again. Erythreus's eyes widened the moment the doors flew open, revealing a larger group of men, but that wasn't even the issue, the issue right now was that these two morons held guns in his and Dom's faces, and he could literally hear Dom's blood boiling at this point. He was thankful that Dom had a level head on his shoulders, they may have been fucked if not. Ery knew he had stepped out of his comfort zone of his typical brooding, and it was a huge shift for someone who never knew anything more than brooding his time away, or drinking it away.

But right now the only thing mattered is that he and Dom survived this. Erythreus knew Dom felt a little different on that matter, and had put Erythreus's life above his own. So even if Dom didn't life, he'd make sure Ery did. But, Erytrheus wasn't willing to lose him either. Erythreus hid the smirk playing on his features as Dom landed several hefty punches to the gunmans face. Finally, they had the upper hand, until Dom hit his knees. "What the fuck?!" he expressed loudly, before finding himself doubled over as well, toppling out of the van face first onto a graveled road. After his face collided with the gravel paved road, the Aspect grunted, and now he was sure his anger measured up to Dom's.

As if all of this wasn't bad enough, they took Ery's staff. "Do you even realize what that does?!" he questioned loudly, furious at how quickly he and Dominic had lost the upper hand on these vultures. Two women on their porch, laughed at Ery's question. "It's apparently what gives you your abilities. You won't be needing that right now" one of them said, shooting him a sinister grin.

"Without it, I can't, nor won't do anything you ask of me" he protested, knowing that it would be better to just go with the flow to keep them from hurting Dom to motivate him or vise versa had Dom spoke up. "I'm sorry" he then mouthed silently to his guard. He knew Dominic felt the same, that maybe he was failing in the task of protecting Erythreus, but this couldn't have been seen, it couldn't have been stopped. Dom had did all he was capable of given their situation.

Now that they were inside the house, and Erythreus found himself in the center of these people circled around he and Dominic, Erythreus was about to speak, but the words got trapped in the back of his throat to the sight of a gun aimed at Dominic's head. The man who had started all of this, made his way to Erythreus then telling him he either done what they said or his guard died. "Please you don't have to do this. Ill stay here. But, it's not like he's the one in charge of bringing back the dead, why keep him?" he questioned, not trying to play the hero, but Erythrues wouldn't have been able to live with himself had something happened to Dom, and he couldn't at least think that he tried.

The man holding the gun to Dom's face snarled at Erythreus and his suggestion before laughter errupted from his lungs. "Awwww. Look guys. The Aspect of Death, all tear eyed" he mocked before reaching behind Ery's head, yanking him by his short ponytail, so that his face would land into the gunsman's knee. "For the Aspect of Death, you're not so scary" the male then spat at him. Disgusting creature, Erythreus thought silently, avoiding looking at Dominic with blood dripping from his face. He knew it would only further the feeling of guilt. Spitting the blood from his mouth, Erythreus cleared his throat; deciding silence was best.

Ery watched then as Dom spat his own blood to the floor; shaking his head no at his guard. "There's no fucking way dude. I can't let you die, not for me. Ive lived" he stated, and cursed his existence in general, as well as Dom's. They both had one purpose alone, and Dom's was about to get him killed. Erythreus couldn’t take anymore. After Dom got hit in the back of his head hard enough to have him tip forward, the Aspect of Death smiled. Reaching forward, Ery rammed his fist into the man’s groin, watching him crumble, while his back up immediately took his place, waiting for the go ahead to shoot and kill Dom. “Do it. Then none of you will ever see your loved ones again, not even after I kill each and every last one of you” he stated angrily. There now stood two men with gun’s one aimed at his head, one at Dom’s, and as they waited for the one on  the floor to speak, Erythreus took the time to seek courage from the gods who’d granted him a second chance in life.

Deciding this was gonna end one way or the other, Erythreus stood; unphased that both guns had now trained on him. “Shoot me” he stated, giving Dominic a nod; he knew they’d likey be taken out by magic if they tried to take down the Diviner holding Ery’s staff. There was only one thing left to do; fight their way out, and hopefully, walk away from this with not having killed any of these people. Dominic had made Erythreus realize something in the heat of the moment; they were lost, and misguided. They didn’t deserve to die for that. “Don’t shoot him. If he dies ill never see them again” the man who Erythreus had sent to the floor finally spoke, shedding tears. The older, more frail looking humans only watched from a distance, with frowns on their faces. “I can’t bring them back to you. But I can tell them anything you would have wanted them to know..” he stated, knowing that wouldn’t suffice. No, these people wanted their family back. Erythreus inhaled, and waited for them to either give in, or fight him and Dom, hopefully without killing either of them.

Dominic watched from his knees as the scene unfolded. They were sorely outnumbered, despite half of the people here not of a violent nature as was clear from their faces when they saw what they were forcing upon he and Ery. He watched helplessly as his mind frantically tried to come up with a way to get them out of this crazed house. The only thing he could think to do was play to the hearts of the people in the room that weren't up to cause harm to he or Erythreus. He had a strong feeling they were most likely lead to believe the kidnapping and threats were only going to go up to a certain point to get the aspect to do as they hoped. Never that they would actually have to witness the violent events coming to fruition. That would have to be their play.

As he waited to see what decision Ery would make, the therian watched for the opportune moment. A silence fell among the room, but was quickly broken as Erythreus landed a well aimed punch which brought their leader to the floor. The moment had arrived. Dominic quickly stood as the gunman who had been keeping watch over him, trained his weapon on the aspect instead. Without hesitation, he took hold of the man's wrist to deflect a shot possibly going off and landed a right hook, putting the man out cold and relieving him of the gun in three quick movements before his body crumpled to the floor. Dominic swung the weapon around to aim at the diviners who were the biggest threat to them all. "We'll be taking that staff back now."

"I'll have you screaming in agony with a simple few words if you try," the woman holding Ery's staff said, scowling back at Dominic and gripping the magical artifact tighter.

The therian held the gun completely steady and trained on her. "If you so dare as open your mouth again, I'll send this bullet between your eyes faster than you'll be able to finish your spell." Dominic gritted his teeth as he spoke; The lycan anger showing its ever prevalent nature. His eyes landed on an elderly woman who stood near the diviners. "Madame. If you wouldn't mind please?" She nodded her head shakily and went to retrieve the staff, shuffling back to Dominic and handing the item over. He could see how frightened she was and as much as he wanted to reassure her that he wouldn't hurt her, he needed to keep Erythreus alive more. In his mind, he was more important than anyone else in this room. It was just the way of it and it was his job to make sure the aspect got out safely whether it meant his own life ending.

As their leader remained on the ground while the only other gunman held his target still on Ery, Dominic sternly held the man's gaze. "Now what? You're going to shoot him till he complies? Try and I still shoot you. Where does that leave any of us? Just a bunch of casualties in this stupid ass plan of yours." His eyes flickered around the room to the people that were gathered. "The fact of the matter is he can't do what you're asking. There are beings in this world who can bring people back to life, but he is not one of them." His hues fell on the diviner women pointedly because he knew they knew it was them he spoke of. He didn't know if it was because these two had already reached their magical limit by bringing back those they'd lost that they had come to this point of trying to kidnap the aspect, but if there were any beings of the world that were the most capable of bringing back the dead, it was dark diviners. In fact, Dominic knew of quite a few necromancers who were now rich because they were paid by desperate people to use their resurrection magic and bring back loved ones.

The gunman lingered on his words for a few moments before lowering the weapon and glancing to their leader who angrily stood and snatched the gun away. It was in a flash that Dominic reacted as he aimed and fired off a shot. The sound echoed loudly throughout the space, causing some of the people to scream. The man fell to the floor, clutching his shoulder. Humans were so fragile. "Marcus, right?" He glared back at Dom who swung the gun back towards the diviner women, but never taking his eyes from the leader. "Marcus, I would like you and your little band of idiots to take your leave now." Dominic individually looked to each of the people who had forcefully brought them to this house as they slowly made their way from the property. Once he heard the van they had taken to get here depart, he holstered the gun and cleared his throat as the rest of the people in the room looked between him and Erythreus somewhat nervously. He could tell they were afraid of what he would do, but he had no intention of hurting innocent people. He crossed the room slowly to Erythreus who still stood in the middle of them all, giving him a quick look over before clapping him on the back. "Punch to the nuts, huh?" he joked quietly to him, smirking to the aspect and handing him his staff. Worried eyes darted between the guard and ailward still as Dominic cleared his throat lightly and looked to Erythreus. "Shall we get the hell out here?" He could see the wheels turning in his head and began to wonder if he was thinking of giving these people a little bit of solace after all. Ery didn't owe these people a thing, but being the aspect of death was probably the most difficult element to bear watch over and perhaps he wanted to to bring some life back to the loved ones left behind.

Erythreus had grown tired of this. To think this had all started from going to a strip club.. such luck, he thought to himself silently. Being a man, seeking a thrill, had gotten Erythreus right here to this very moment, and with the sense of humor he'd always had, the Aspect chuckled dryly, getting a few looks of curiosity, and a few go to hell type of glares. If looks could kill, he'd surely be a dead man right now. "Sorry sorry, you just really have no idea how funny this is.. we were simply enjoying a night at a strip club, and here you lot come with guns, assuming if i can't bring back your dead family, which is insane, that youll shoot us to death.. but I am the aspect of death.. sound funny to you too? yeah i figured so" he rambled on for a few minutes, buying Dom a little more time, before shit hit the fan.

He knew Dominic well enough to know that when he maade a move, he'd make it wisely. Erythreus had never feared dying with Dom around, and that was something he could guess that all Aspects wanted; a good guard. Not onlyhad Dom been his guard though, he'd became one of Erythreus closest, if not only genuine friends. So this situation, wasn't like any other dangerous situation for him, because he'd gladly do all that he could to keep Dom safe as well, he didn't want this to be a situtation where Dominic died for him, to save his life. Though it had been the way between the guards and aspects, it was not the way for Erythreus.. not with someone he held so closely.

Ery had to push those thoughts aside. He knew how much wishful thinking he'd been doing just then, and he also knew Dom wouldn't hesitate to take a bullet for him, even if that said bullet kills Dom. The Aspects gaze flickered from the Diviners to Dom, shaking his head, he sighed out loudly. "There's not much more you can do woman.. you're stalling, because you're bluffing. You can't hurt us with a spell because then i'd be paralyzed and unable to bring anyone back, and we can't be shot, because if he gets shot, I do nothing for you idiots, and if I get shot, then ill be either really pissed off, or dead, which still leaves us where? with me doing nothing!" he expressed, and kept an eye on Dominic while causally gazing back over to the Diviners.

Erythreus letting his mouth get away from him however, causing thelast remaining gun man to press the steel barrell against the Aspects temple, and the moment he heard the gun click, Erythreus swallowed harshly, and allowed Dom to continue talking. Now that Dom had his staff back, he was quite sure the others would surrender. Dominic was pretty brilliant, in any occassion and this one was no different as he gave an accusing look at the Diviners when he'd stated that there were plenty of beings who could bring their family back, just not Erythreus himself. Ery's gaze also landed on the Diviners who were capable of such acts, and he too wondered why they hadn't been the ones in Ery's shoes, forced to bring back these peoples loved ones.

When Dominic got angry, Erythreus became a little afraid that he'd lose himself to it. Ery had been alive long enough to see the best and worse sides of Therians, and for whatever reason, he'd never known any of them to not completely explode when they got angry enough, and he now saw Dom at that point. Just as he'd thought about stepping in and intervening, a shot fired off, leaving the room silent, with the exceptional screaming and the gasps coming from those who werent deafened by the gun shot like Ery had been. His mind hadn't even processed it as he called out the name Marcus. And, by the time Erythreus had gained his composure back from that, Dominic was asking Marcus to take himself and his band of idiots away from here. Much to Ery's surprise, they loaded up and left in the same van they'd hauled him and Dom over here in.

While those left in the room gazed from Erythreus back to Dom, riddled by fear, the Aspect shook his head. He himself knew that Dom wouldn't bring any of them harm, it's one of the things he loved most about the Therian. The Aspect of Death dropped his head, laughing as Dom calpped him on the back and teased him for punching the male in the nuts earlier "We do what we must" he stated, but clearly unable to hold a serious face in that moment. "Thank you, you saved my life .. as always" he stated, with a look of gratitude gracing his features and a genuine smile. Clutching his staff, Erythreus drifted off for a split second; his role as an Aspect often made him reach outside the box, and if only for a second, he'd wonder what a normal life would be like. But, that was never going to be even an option for him. Dominic had pulled him out of his train of thought, and while Ery could never have certain things he wanted for himself, he knew it would likely bring closure to some of their lives to know that their loved ones had found peace after they passed.

Ery nodded to Dom's question "We shall, but first, do you mind?" he asked, knowing Dom had already caught onto the fact that Ery had something he needed to do. It was true that he owed these people nothing, but after the evening they'd already had, what would it hurt spending a few more moments doing something positive like this? "You.." he started off, pointing to the woman who stood there shaking like a leaf, gesturing for her to come down to him, by waving her over with his finger. The Aspect gave her a genuine smile, and placed the palm of his hand on her shoulder, while his other hand fiddled with his staff; "Is there anything you would want your departed loved ones to know? I CAN make that happen for you, but that's all I can do.. it is a gesture of kindness, take it or leave it.. and just so you know, you don't have to follow a clan of people who force your life into danger like this.. this is no way to live, you control your own life" he expressed, and watched her intently as she began sobbing.

What Erythreus hadn't bargained for was that she'd lost her children in a car accident. Swallowing harshly, he shook his head. This was a little rough for Erythreus, even he'd admit he always struggled when it came to children. "Marie?" he asked out loud, and the woman before him, sobbing, answered with a 'yes' "Ben and Eliza say they love you, that it's not your fault, and that they want you to be happy, they want you to know that they know you miss them, but that they are always with you, even if you can't see them" he expressed, and looked to the necklace around her neck "That lockett is from them, yes? They both said to always wear it close to your heart.. they miss you very much" he finished off, and moved to the next person. One by one Erytrheus went through a small line of people, and at the end of it, he gazed back over to Dom, giving him a nod. "Thank you. Really, I feel like that last part needed to happen, even in spite of all the crazy, you understood something good could come out of it, I couldn't imagine having anyone else at my side, strip club shootings and all that" he then said, smirking, and clapping Dom on the back the same way he'd done to him earlier.

"Hey Dom?" he asked, before giving him a playful grin "Wanna go to a strip club?" the Aspect questioned, and bursted out laughing; he knew that was awful, but even in spite of how this day had started all the way to ow it had finished, Ery felt that they still needed a reason to laugh, and at least they had something good to take away from it. "You're pretty bad ass when you're mad.. but quite scary at the same time" he finished off, chuckling and shaking his head. "Im definitely ready to get the hell out of here now. It's been one hell of a night"
