Tonight, was one of the nights that Elle-Mae decided to take a break. Between finishing editing the current book for her publishing company, and generally trying to settle in Evermore; after moving here not long ago. Her schedule had been quite busy. In a way, Elle-Mae liked keeping herself busy; it kept her mind distracted from the family drama that always seemed to concern her two brothers. But at the same time, it felt a bit of a relief; that she had chosen an evening; where she could relax and let loose a little bit.

She heard, there was supposedly some sort of party going on in the woods. In The Therianthrope territory to be exact. Not that she was exactly looking for a party; but word spread quickly throughout the City. At least, to those that were paid attention. Elle-Mae thought it would be a good opportunity to meet members of the pack. Aswell, as maybe spot a few familiar faces that she had met the last time; she had been in Evermore a few years ago.

After getting herself ready; Elle glanced at herself in the mirror that was located in the hallway of her apartment. A Pair of Dark Jeans, With Boots, along with a nicer long sleeved top. It seemed, pleasant enough for a party in the woods. Especially with the weather that was still on the cooler side. Especially during the evenings. Grabbing her jacket. Elle-Mae then pulled out any trapped locks behind the hem of jacket. Her dark brown locks, falling around in simple waves around her face.

Elle, first made sure that she had everything; before leaving her small humble abode that was the apartment. It was small, cozy enough for her. Even though, there was extra space for a second person. But, it never really bothered her living on her own; after moving from her family home for College. She had gotten used to that aspect, of adulthood. The young woman, locked up her apartment, after leaving.

The journey to the woods, didn’t take her that long. Considering, her apartment was located near the woods...and she had a car. Driving towards the woods; she had the window scrolled down slightly. Letting the evening breeze, through the gap. It wasn't long, before her supernatural hearing picked up on the loud chatter, music booming through out the lands near by. It seemed like, the party had already began. And from the sound of things. Everyone was having a good time. For a few moments; The Therian felt a bit nervous. What if she was intruding? She didn't know everyone, in the community yet. But, she had to remind herself; that everyone was welcome from what she heard about this. In a small clearing, she saw a few others car parked. Finding a spot for her own. Elle, saw the fire that was near by. No doubt, that's where the music and chatter was also coming from.

After getting out of her car, locking it up. Elle-Mae took a deep breath. Before making her way over towards the social gathering, in the woods. Her Greeny-Blue eyes, scanning everything and anything in sight. Taking it all in. The people, the setting, the beauty around them.

The kitsune use to be someone who would give out hugs and also be a listener. Sera use to be very high spirited but now she would smile, be someone's listener and if they want a hug she would return it.  That's what she saw in the female she is with right now. Now in days, the kitsune would be lucky if she got any affection out other then being with her family. One thing she and Elle have in common is their independent nature, no matter how bad things will get they will always turn the battle around and be standing. They really didn't need a man in their life to pull their way.

For family, heartache is something she is well known. After her mother, Sera didn't know what to do with herself but to grow up and be someone to hold up her father. No matter what mood she is in she would cry, she always wondered why she was not numb to everything already. Maybe that will make her have a tougher skin. Sera heard a phrase once, showing emotion is a weakness in tough situations makes their enemy stronger by giving them what they want. Sera might not be numb but she can't show what she truly feels unless she is alone. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

When Seraphina is asked about being free she nodded. "Yeah, I am free. Really I don't even have anything going on." Maybe a girl's day is something she needed. Elle is someone who has always been around but yet Seraphina always has doubts but knowing never to be attached to the other knowing if something happens she will lose another person in her life. "Sure, I don't mind," she said smiling. Seraphina forgot how to be a girl or how it felt to hang out with friends who this will be a brand new experience after many years.

Listening to the redhead, Seraphina looked at her as she looked down. Looked like they both have something similar to brothers. It's true Sera thinking every day Arwyn would be killed or anything close to the word death hunted her. She was worried sick. The day he came back she felt angry and made which was all her emotions and questions about him. Healthy and alive made her feel so happy she didn't lose another family member. it just didn't excuse the fact that he could've died with no one knowing and even his family. Seraphina didn't want to think about it even now. What she said hit her deeply, anything can happen. "Thank you," Seraphina said knowing it's true but hearing live is too short made her panic and it's something she will not hide.

Seraphina looked at her in shock but it lifted her sprites. "Really? I don't think I can turn down a job offer. Anything is welcome even a small job. I don't know how to thank you." maybe things were looking up for her. She always wanted to try out a desk job at least once in her life so this was perfect.

Time had been passing rather quickly, whilst the two girls were catching up. Whilst they might have not joined in any of the dancing around the fire. They enjoyed sitting and talking. After all, they had a bit to catch up on. The elder Therian had noticed a few people starting to leave, as it was getting late. Not really aware of how much time had truly passed. But figuring, it was getting late.

As she confirmed that she indeed was free. It made Elle smile. “Great. I can pick you up tomorrow, say around 9am?” At least, it would give both the girls some time to get ready and have breakfast. Before they’d meet up and head out into the city for a girl’s day. With what they had been through; they needed a day out. To forget about their troubles. Plus, she was sure. It’d be nice, catching up some more.

Watching for her reaction. Elle-Mae noticed, that something she had said had gotten through to Seraphina. And she was glad, that it did. Because honestly, she did not want her and her brother to end up in the same place; she and Phoenix had been in. Not seeing each other for a decade at least. “You’re welcome.” she said softly. Hopefully young Sera would think a little about what she had said. Seeing Sera looked a little panicked. Elle just gave her shoulder a soft squeeze, as if to reassure her that everything would be alright.

She smiled, before she nodded. “Yes, really.” Elle-Mae said softly. Noting how shocked Seraphina looked at her news. “If you don’t like it, don’t feel the need to stick with the job. But for now, I am sure it’ll help.” Elle was glad, that the young Kitsune was willing to give it a go. She knew Seraphina was smart. “I can give you more details tomorrow.” she assured her.But in the mean time, she’d put in a good word for Seraphina too.

“I should be heading back home soon. It’s getting late.” Elle noticed, that there weren’t many people left at the party. “But, I look forward to catching up with you more tomorrow.” With a warm smile. One last hug and squeeze. The two girls parted ways for the night; as Elle headed back to her apartment; so she could get some rest. With tomorrow being a fresh day. They’d have plenty time to carrying on catching up.
