Life couldn’t have been easier for the nephilim ever since he moved to Evermore. He couldn’t remember much about his first few months here but over the past year he knew he has learned a lot. So far his journey to the eternal city in hopes that he could start a new chapter in his life, one where he has moved on, was going well.

He even got himself a new girlfriend. Eleanora Nordstroem was everything a man could hope for. But she’s not easy, she was far from it. The dhampir was feisty and would make you work for it and boy did he work the hardest chore in his life. He had also been reunited with a few old friends, namely Cora Ailward, the Aspect of Darkness that he befriended some years ago.

Today, he was going to go buy something for his anniversary with Nora. How fast time flew, he thought as his eyes scanned the aisle for anything particularly interesting. He had no idea what to buy for his girlfriend and as romantic as he was a gentleman, Julian was oblivious and clueless when it comes to things like these. He couldn’t exactly ask Nora what she wanted since that would ruin his surprise. He didn’t know how long he had spent staring at the clothes with a worrisome look. He looked so awkward.
