To come to a City like Evermore was completely refreshing, it was the community she had always imagined and despite it being full of supernatural creatures and some shady characters, on the whole, everyone was rather friendly and approachable. Nadiya, for the first time since she became Valkyr, finally felt at ease with herself, and didn’t feel like she constantly had to look over her shoulder for some continuing threat; yet to reach out to others, to try and make connections which could be considered friends - she just couldn’t do it. As a whole, Diya was a sociable being, she loved to be surrounded by people; after all, she had spent all of her teenage years and twenties on her own, in a small box room with nothing but darkness to keep her company. Thus, it felt like she needed people around her to make up for lost time, yet, those people she definitely kept at an arm's length; being held hostage for a lot of her time, and finding out she was never searched for - her trust for other human beings was at an all time low. Nadiya knew she was missing out on a lot of experiences by keeping her emotions, and other people out; she couldn’t leave herself to be that vulnerable again - that was the only thing she could thank Frank for, he taught her how to be strong and not reliant on other people.

With all things considering, and the lack of trust for others, her darkness was manageable; and in fact, became a very Motherly figure to those who needed someone - she knew what it was like and because of that, she couldn’t bare another individual to feel like they were unwanted in the world. Thus, she returned her roots per say, and opened up a Pleasure House, called Poison and invited girls to come and live with her in the grand house that she managed to get as long as they decided they wanted to work for her; it was a win win - they would get a roof over their head and money, and she felt like she was doing something good for other people. Nadiya was quite surprised with how quickly Poison rocketed and the amount of girls which requested a room if they worked for her; the business was buzzing, and for once, Nadiya felt like she now had a purpose in life, and wasn’t just the woman who had nothing to do but pester Damien who had his responsibilities with the guard.

Over the course of many evenings, she watched the many men and women enter Poison to satisfy their needs and during the quieter hours, Nadiya was left to her thoughts on how to better Poison as well as look after the girls and their safety; just the mere word of safety rang in her mind more often than not - she had no idea if her girls were being safe. She had noted that most of them were human, and thus, were more likely to fall pregnant if they were not careful; the idea of having a child run around the house - much like she did when she was a child - was not ideal and wouldn’t do well for business. Therefore, she waited until the sun rose before she made her way into town; she had spoken to the girls and they agreed that normal methods of birth control where not as reliable and were keen to try something magical, after all, they knew the city they lived in. Nadiya had heard of many different stores which were run by Diviners, but there was one that stood out the most; particularly because she had overheard Damien speak of the Diviner who owned it - and it sounded as if the two women had a shared past and present, the living arrangements of a brothel.

Nadiya waited for the sun to rise - she forgot what it was like to move around in daylight hours, being the nocturnal creature she was; plus, she hated how weak the sun made her feel - she was in essence, a human during these hours. The dark haired woman stood in front of the Diviner’s shop for a few moments as she took in the many different items which were on display; and she couldn’t help but wonder how powerful a Diviner would feel channeling such powers. The Valkyr shook her head, and pushed open the door which consequently allowed the bell to chime, indicating that someone had either entered or left the shop - she had no idea who or what she was looking for, thus made her way to the counter to hope someone would be there to guide her to what she needed.

Bexley could feel the tension in the air after all it wasn’t every day all your brothel workers where turned into toddlers by some unknown magic. Bexley herself was frankly pissed and a pissed Bexley was never a good thing for who was on the other end of her anger. As she chanted a another line or two sh gave a frustrated grunt before looking to the Valkyr. “Don’t take it to hard I speak every known language and some unknown. Kinda a talent of mine. Been told I have a talented tongue, in more than one way. If we manage to solve this maybe I could teach you some. Though when it comes to spell work it's not gonna work as well for you as it does for myself.” She said as she moved away from the vile, processing in her head for a moment the quickest way to get  the toddlers back to their proper ages.

“Well the goal is not to lose them because I would rather not have to take 20 children to my bosses and have them raise them because I didn’t double check all my vials after a break in.” It was stupid she should have just dumped her inventory but she didn’t want to have to spend all her time remaking the stock she had built. A slow smile touched the dark diviners lips as she looked to the valkyr. “Now hunting them down is not a bad idea. If we get to them, they can tell me what was in the vial and I can craft a proper antidote instead of just testing random things out on the toddlers. Who knows what we would end up with.” She muttered as she then gathered the empty vials and dug around till she found a map of Evermore tucked in the lost and found.

Watching the Valkyr as she watched the girls and in a different tone spoke of not wanting to lose them. “I give you my word. One way or another I will fix this.” She said and then placed the vials in a bowl crushing them and looked to her. “Can I have some of your shadow energy? To create an undetectable locator spell? Using your shadow energy will tie it to you so we should end up being able to walk through your shadow portal in front of the person who did this to your girls.” She said hoping all the studying under Malva was about to pay off in a big way. “I just need you to focus on making a ball of energy and placing it in the bowl with the broken glass.” she said holding it out to her with the map under it.

Nadiya quirked a brow upwards at the mention that Bexley was able to speak every known language, even those that had died so many years ago; that was quite impressive and it certainly put Diya to shame. She supposed she could count sarcasm and shit to her spoken language list but that was nothing to always be proud of. “You speak every language? How on Earth? Is there some magic in there to know that sort of stuff?” She tilted her head in curiosity, her fingers pushed a few strands of her hair behind her ear. “Because surely there isn’t enough room in the noggin’ that could hold that many words!” Diya was completely dumbfounded by this revelation and she couldn’t help but look at the woman opposite her in complete and utter awe; but she supposed, part of it was not her fault - she never attended school and for a good fifteen years, she was held captive. “Excuse you, what? I can do some spells? I don’t believe that?” She shifted her eyes back and forth for a moment; almost suspiciously.

“I’m sure your bosses wouldn’t tell you off, even if you did” Nadiya reassured her, although she had to say - if Damien did something like this, she would be hysterical for a few moments; perhaps even hours before being able to handle the situation. “Although I rather that isn’t the case, I like these girls - even if I can find more fairly easily.” She mused, her finger twirling a strand of hair as she watched the other gather the empty vials; whilst she simply wandered between her children. “Hunting them down sounds like an adventure, and a fun one at that!” Nadiya clapped her hands together excitedly and bounced ever so slightly onto the balls of her feet before she shook her body to get serious again; this was no laughing matter. “But! What if they don’t easily tell you? This city is full of Heathens” She petted one of the toddlers head. “No one ever does anything for free or without fearing for their life”

The idea of killing, or teasing the individual with possible death seemed excited but she knew she would be triggered; she would stir Carmel awake if she was anywhere near death and she dreaded to think where that could take her, but she needed to take the risk. For her family and for her business. Nadiya blinked a few times as Bexley asked for her shadow energy, it was very rare she used her powers that was not for entertainment purposes but she would give it her best shot. “Okay. But how will it locate the person? We have nothing of theirs to do so?” She questioned, before allowing her eyes to close and her hands ready to generate the shadows to do her bidding.

Bexley looked at Nadiya realizing that being able to speak every language is in fact not normal at that very moment. “Well ah yeah. I was born in Korea in a time when your parents died and you were sold off. I came to America and before I knew it I was adopted by a lovely couple whose wife spoke a few different languages and she taught me. Kinda became a passion of mine and with my work I just took on learning it all.” She didn’t speak on how the aspects had vast resources for knowledge and helped her learn all she knew. She laughed for a moment, “Maybe my head is just bigger on the inside like the tardis.” She winked at Nadiya. Bexley tilted her head to the side to the woman and hummed “How often do you use your valkyr powers? Do you know that you can control shadows, even open portals with them?” She asked as she had never met a valkyr who held disbelief in their own magic before.

She looked to the woman as she reassured her and Bexley let out a gentle sigh. “Well its less of being told off then being told to stop using magic.” She admitted before looking to the frozen children. “I would much rather you have the people you trust back. This is not a curse they should have to bear.” She said softly then chuckled as Nadiya seemed to be on board with finding whoever broke into her shop and made this happen. It was unlike any magic she had seen and that was rare for her. Bexley gave a slow smirk and looked up to the woman her eyes changing from brown to green. “If they don’t tell me easily I will rip it out of their heads.” She gave a gentle shrug. “I am a dark diviner for a reason my kindness only goes so far.” The only thing about being forced dark she knew that she could give in to her darkest desires, with no fear of being tainted more.

She watched the hesitation in Nadiya and if they had more time she would have asked more questions but for now she knew the task at hand was far more important. “That is where you are wrong. We have the last thing they touched and their magic.” She said as she watched the shadow ball lower and then Bexley cut her finger tip dropping a bit of her blood. She began to chant in a dark language as she tilted the bowl over and the shadow that had sucked in the blood and glass landed on the map and moved. Soon the shadow sucked into the map and was a black spot that was moving around an apartment building. “There they are.” She smirked as she looked at Diya. “We have ourselves a person gps thanks to your shadow magic. Your shadow magic is clinging to their shadow.” She moved around the desk and linked her arm with Diya. “Ready to have some fun?”
