Going to the North East city corner had never been a smart idea of places to go for Svet, just to kill boredom. Each time she'd visited Vampire territory her heart raced, and she was constasntly looking over her shoulder, but they held one of the hottest clubs there, and the club life was her scene since she co-owned a different one with Dominic.

The smell of cigar smoke and music greeted her as always when she entered. Some of the Vampires and Dhampirs who went there usually just stred, others often approached her. Nephilim's and Vampires didn't always get along the greatest, and definitely not when it came to the Vasilyev family. The work Svet's father done had signed her own death, and to this day it was still going on. Whispers and mutters were heard as she passed a group of drunk females. Loooking over her shoulder, she smiled, the tinge in her eyes glowing a more brighter purple than normal. "Not tonight ladies, I plan on leaving here without having to hurt anyone. Mind your business" she said with a flare, her Russian accent thick.

Finally seating herself at the bar in the VIP section that she paid a little to much for, she ordered her favorite drink ; a Cosmopolitian. On each side of her vsit two men, one she'd never seen before but was gawking at her like he could have eaten her whole, and the other which made her nearly choke to death on her first drink from the glass passed to her by the bartender. Something about him was familiar to the point it  scared her, and something inside of her went off causing her hands to tremble. Her nerves were now wrecked and she was sure she didn't know this man... or if she did, it had been to long for her to realize it.

Svet only kept glancing when his head was turned, not giving him a chance to see her face, due to the vibes he was giving her. Finally a small distraction came alone when one of Svet's favorite songs came on.

She'd began to calm herself down as it started humming along, deciding to walk away just long enough to daance to the current song playing. As usual all eyes were on here, and she never knew if it was because she danced good or that she was like a precious gem that all Vampires wanted, knowing there were probably at least one or two in this club. It didn't stop her though, as she contonued dancing, she was suddenly pulled in by the man who'd been sitting at the bar beside of her, the one who'd made her heart basically stop beating as soon as she seen his face,

The song continued, but for Svet, time had stopped completely. Standing there, froze, looking into his eyes as he danced around her, she couldn't help but wonder if this was about to be another attack on her. But, he was gentle, a gaze settled in his eyes that spoke louder than any words could, saying he wasn't the one who's harmed her nor would he. The vibes he was giving off earlier had now completely changed.

Svet had grabbed a drink from a tray as one of the women waitresses had passed them, but before she could even sip at it, she dropped it to the floor, a million flashbacks playing through her head about the night she slaughtered an entire organization of sick twisted species who'd banned together to kill all that was right in Svet's world. In those flashbacks though, she seen his face, this man dancing with her, her body involjtarily moved against his to join in the dancing with him, trying to remember him.

"I....." she stuttered out a few times as her eyes pooled up in tears. "You....." she stuttered once more.. hoping he would just cut right to the chase and help her out since she was clearly struggling to speak rather than  string her along for the amusement of her not rememberibng him exactly. The one thing she did remember at the moment though, was that it was him ... he was the reason she made it out of that building alive so many years ago.

Svetlana's heart continued to race; skipping beats even and at points she felt as if her breath had been taken away from her completely. It was more of a feeling of drowning over and over again. Just like this man before her, she'd been in his embrace once upon a time, only it wasn't the fairy tale that you'd think of when saying 'once upon a time'. It was a gruesome fight to the death, and he'd managed to slay every demon who'd tried lunging themselves for Svet.

But still, Svetlana couldn't help but think her mind was playing tricks with her. After all of these years the brutal treatment from those Vampires., Therians and Phoenix's still haunted her like a plague, it'd stuck with her and caused Svet's sanity to fade into nothingness. She had hardly any friends, and hadn't yet found a man that could love her for who she is, due to how lost and insane she was left after that bloody night. Both of their eyes locked into one anothers, Svet didn't even notice that her own had began to pour with tears. It was almost as though they'd stared so deeply into one anothers eyes, that they were searching one anothers souls, Svet remembering specifically the old but beautiful dagger he'd used and sliced through each of their throats with ease.

She'd only tried forgetting him because after that night, Svet never got the luxury of seeing him again. Now that she was standing against him, once more in his embrace, for the first time ever, Svet felt weightless. Nothing or no one could harm her right now. She'd often dream of him, her white knight, but other than when she was sleeping, she tried not to think of him. When he spoke, all the tricks her mind was playing with her faded, it definitely wasn't her just imagining, it was him in the flesh. His question left her in a place of confusion though "Time, I don't know... time hasn't been that kind, there's still a clan out there hunting me down, making sure im left in a state of fear and insanity, but you... I never thought i'd see you again"

Her response was the best she could give considering the circumstances between them. "I've dreamed about you so many times, rather crazy huh? Since I don't even know your name. I just started calling you my white knight, many people have considered me to be crazy, and insane for trying to tell my story, so I started keeping it to myself" she spoke again, but found herself just rambling, which caused her toned cheeks to blush a bright pink. "I see time has treated you very good... you look just as gorgeous as the last time I seen you... well tiny glimpses of you, you were very fast but flawless to say the least. I can't thank you enough for saving me" she stated, feeling almost empty inside when the song ended and she was no longer in his arms. But happily, she let him guide her back to his table, where she spotted another drink, but the seat it sat in front of was empty.

Sitting in the seat beside of him, she gazed back over to him chugging down whoever's drink was sitting there, as unsanitary as that was, she didn't care and could go for a decent buzz right now. She'd finally gotten his name, which made her  smile all girlish like. "It's nice to meet you properly, Zephyr. I'm Svetlana" she stated in a very low tone, which probably did no good, this place was full of Vampires who had hearing better than any other species. She then chuckled as he asked what she would be drinking tonight. "I'm glad you asked, whiskey please" she then responded with a smirk. Something more stronger than she normally drank when she went to the club, but she needed it. She knew he had questions, probably millions of them, but so did she, and she really had no idea where to even start. But, she went straight to the main question she had always had on her mind after that night. "Why did you save me?" she questioned, waiting for the waitress to come and go with the drinks before asking another.

"And why did I never see you again?" she finished off, frowning to her own question, and that alone had driven her insane; his disappearance. As to not overwhelm him to much right now, she didn't ask any more questions, only commenting with. "I can't believe im seeing you again, this all feels so surreal" she then spoke once more and  smile dancing on her features like never before. For once, Svetlana didn't look broken like she ususally did. She felt like she could do anything right now.

Almost dumbfounded, the young Nephilim stared at the gorgeous being, and her lips partially opened in a state of shock. After he finished speaking, she didn't even realize that she needed to speak back. Shaking her head, Svet chuckled. "Forgive me, i'm still trying to process the idea of you being here in the flesh." she responded but had listened to everything he'd just said intently. A smile now adorning her lips, she figured it'd be polite to speak back and stop staring like she was trapped in some sort of trance.

A smirk now adorning her features, Svet coked her head to the side, analyzing his features yet again, noticing his masculine form. After all, she was a female who lacked the most simple things in life, like a boyfriend, friends, she had no family, and to be frank, she didn't have any sense of right and wrong after that gruesome night. But right now, she did know one thing, being in his presence was right, or it felt right and just seeing him made all that was wrong in the world; right. "Well, I guess I could relate with you more than it seems. I never had a family, my father stepped out of my life .. I was to young to get to know him before he actually stepped out of the picture, and there's no recollection of my mother either before I was abducted ... spent all my teen years in captivity being tortured because they assumed I knew where my father was, they used me to lure him back, but in the meantime as they waited, they killed their time by torturing me, blades, waterboarding, using their minds to manipulate fire and make me think i was choking on the flames"... she trained off not sparing any of the gory details that was her tragic history.

Hushing herself as their drinks arrived, Svet gazed from the waitress to him, the waitress seemed to think the same about his features seeing how she gazed at him speechless for a second or two. Svet chuckled as the woman walked off, "Guess you get that a lot huh?" she asked, but already knew the answer. Svet sat quietly, as his friend came to inform him that he was leaving. Waiting until he and his date walked off, whom Svet could only sneer at and roll her icy blue optics. In her mind she knew it was wrong to damn all red heads but after spending years being tortured by one, she couldn't help it. As the charming Vampire turned his focus back to Svet, she smiled but continued letting her gaze drift to the red head who stared at Svet the entire way out the door. "So y're saying they done others like that? Ive always tried to make sense of why my father gave his life up to save Nephilims from creatures like those who abducted me, but now I guess I kind of get it. Just wished I had been worthy enough for him to fight for his life a little harder, he died saving my kind... it's a little hard lately to accept what I am" she then said, inhaling deeply.

Svet jumped suddenly however as he shattered his glass within the strong grip he'd given it. His blood and ther amber liquid now splashed onto the table, Svet rose from her seat, walking to his without hesitation. "Zephyr? What was that?" she asked, startled alkmost but she knew he had been taken back to a dark place .. something on his mind had just enraged him, and she could only see anger now as their eyes entangled with each others once more. Hesitantly but surely, her hand then dropped, gently gripping his shoulder with her head cocked to the side. "I know Zeph. I know. But sadly there's not even a small part of me that feels remorse for killing any of them, had you not showed up, I would have died. And I was ready for that. After everything they had done to me, causing me to even lose my sanity, I didn't figure i'd be much use to anything or anyone even if i did escape... so i was a bit murderous but suicidal too.. I knew eventually i would have grown tired, or the fact that I was indeed outnumbered would have ended me, But when you started fighting.... it moved me.."

A flashback running through her mind just then, seeing Zephyr fight and slay each of them with no issues at all. "Talk about someone being fearless, like I said... you moved me... just enough to get me out of there alive, but you moved me in other ways too.. we can't un-do what's been done, but we can try to aim for a better present and future. I just hope all of the abductions have stopped since then" she stated still carressing his shoulder. "So yeah, you may not be a white knight on many occasions, but you're mine.. you saved me Zephyr.." her tone soft and her features matching. A frown then laced her lips as he explained his reason for vanishing, he had tried to go save more of her kind, but had arrived to late. "It's okay Zephyr. You tried, at the end of the day as long as we try, then we aren't failing at anything" she stated trying to assure him that he wasn't a failure for arriving to the others to late, but the fact that he had arrived at all, meant something.

Gasping, Svet jumped, startled again by his fist slamming into the table. She knew it wasn't much use, because even if she could calm him down, he would always think about that night like she did. A crack now in the table though, meant she needed to try and persuade him to come to her house, or them go to his... either way, if they didn't leave, Zephyr would end up breaking the entire bar apart. "Sitting herself onto his lap,. Svet stared down into eyes full of hatred and anger. "You've been tracking them? So you know where they are?" she asked,. as long as he knew, that meant she was one step ahead of them rather than it being vise versa. Nodding with a warming smile, as he thanked her for the compliment, she tore her gaze from his eyes, looking down to his hand, watching, mesmorized almost by the healing process; how quickly it was anyways. "You're welcome. I know that night, and seeing me of al people will constantly weigh on you, take you into dark places where you don't wanna be, but we made it out of there, lets try to live the lives that we faught so hard to keep"

And well, time hasnt been to kind to me, just because that night left me broken , I hear and see things that arent there.. especially the red head ... their leader, I see her, and hear that high pitched laughter of hers to the point it cripples me with a migraine, to say the least, I don't feel as great mentally as I may seem on the outside, but thank you also... a lot less bloody I guess" she stated chuckling, as he said she looked a lot better than the night hed seen her so battered and bloody. As he then asked if she had been in Evermore long, she nodded her head in a direction to say no "Kind of just finding my way around too actually... I dont like the constant bad vibes if i must say so" she admitted, feeling that there was a war just beneath the surface of all the species in this city co-existing. Snapping out of thought to what he said next, a frown once more grabbed at her features "Well, not to make it anymore awkward than me sitting on your lap... even if it is your way of life Zephyr.. I kind of just met you, dont rush off on me again, after that night the only thing I had left of the man who cared enough to save me was dreams... now that im so near you... I dont wanna think about you disappearing" her tone crackling at the sound of what seemed she was about to start crying.

"What is it? you just went somewhere with your thoughts again" she then said, pleading eyes locking into his, as she gazed from him to the dance floor. "Perhaps you can share whats on your mind over a dance, with your damsel in distress?" she asked, grinning, a slow song had started which made the vibe a little less fast paced in a club full of Vampires, but she truly didn't want to leave without one dance, without getting to know him as much as she could... she knew once they parted ways again, it could very well be the last time, again, and it hurt to even think she might lose him, or he would just vanish like he had last time. "I won't take no for an answer mister" she stated in a demanding, yet cute tone of voice as she stood and held her hand out, watching as couples gathered on the dance floor, unaware that what Zephyr's thoughts actually consisted of was wanting a family, a normal life, roots... all of what he didn't have, but all the things he continuosly dismissed as if he didn't deserve it.

Svet couldn't help but notice how he blushed, it was cute, especially from what she'd seen him as on the night they'd killed so many. He was her white knight; a monster slayer. But, right now, he was cute, adorable with how he blushed at the most simple things she said. Much different than the man she'd met the night they'd both risked their lives, and the fact that he risked his for her, had placed a feeling inside of her that she had never felt before. Svet as a teen spent her time in captivity, and after gaining her freedom thanks to Zephyr, she still lived in the shadows and in hiding.

The young Nephilim didn't know what it felt like to be near a guy whom she could plan a future with, and since they were both immortal, planning one with Zephyr sounded pretty damn good almost as good as it looked in her head. Zephyr had gazed at her the same way he did the moment he showed up to the rescue, he looked at her even beneath blood and other substances caked up on her clothing and matted her hair, that smelled of death it's self, or probably worse, after all... those who captured her never allowed her free from the stone slab she was chained to. Meaning Svet hadn't showered for the years she was captured. But still despite that, Zephyr looked at her like she was a warrior or something.  A woman willing to do what it took to survive but she didn't suppose that would have been the case without this gorgeous Vampire here to help her get out safely.

After a few moments and a few longing looks exchanged between them, Svet smirked. Svet was much like Zephyr herself, she'd wondered if there was anything light about her, she was one of very few Nephilims who had a dark soul. Abraxas Bradford was another, so to say the least not all Nephilim's were light creatures. Svet had felt a darkness loom around her being the night she gained her Nephilim powers, the night her father was burnt alive in front of her, to this vert day she still smelled his burning flesh and the apologetic look in those icy blue eyes of his. After he died from the burns, and them beheading him, Svet broke free of her chains and began slaughtering those who'd captured her and killed her father with ease, a few were left, and they'd nearly outnumbered her until Zephyr showed up. Snapping out of thought, Svet nudged him playfully. "You're far from just being a trash man, you arrived at the right time Zeph, the fact that you arrived at all, saved my life. Had you not came when you did, I would have been out numbered and killed"

Svet inhaled, but no matter how much she tried to forget, that night would never leave her, especialy since the ones who were lucky enough to escape the slaughter were now in Evermore City, hunting her down. Russian's were usually the captives in all cases with those in that organization that her and Zeph slaughtered, her father had slaughtered the first one, and they rebuilt, which was why he died. He had dedicated so much of himself to the Nephilim's and the innocents that the rogue creatures were hoarding up, abusing and torturing for their sick pleasure. The dagger had taken her by surprise, one stab to her heart, and it was finally curtains for Svet. Inhaling, she looked from the dagger to him. Placing her hand over his one that held the dagger, she smirked "Perhaps it's more than friendly Zephyr. Im certainly not used to sitting on the lap of the man who saved my life in just a friendly way" she responded, and her tone turning into more of one that spoke in volumes, like she wanted him right there and then. "Control Svet.., control" she thought silently.

Widened eyes then entangled with his angered ones. "ZEPHYR.... YOU WENT ALONE?! NEVER DO THAT AGAIN. pROMISE ME" her tone loud, and her eyes wettened with tears. "We're a ... team. There's no way in hell ill let you go to that compound to find the ones who got away that night, all by yourself, like I said, im to invested right now to lose you" she spoke then as if they were a married couple or a couple to say the very least. And though Svet had a perfect image in mind about them being just that, she couldn't bare to ask Zephyr for that kind of life with her and get rejected, which would have hurt badly. "If I have to become the girl-ish stalker that most women become when they want a man, I will do so, just to make sure you dont go back there by yourself" she then said looking away from him. "I know some diviners, maybe there's a reversal spell, one that they could do to make it to where you can't be tracked when you're on the compound.. whatever it takes Zeph.. whatever it takes" she added with a soft sigh.

Listening intently Svet smiled faintly. She liked knowing his mind wandered when she was around him, but she didn't always want his mind to trail back to the night .. the night that had probably sealed their fate. After he stated that she would have had his heart on a platter, she smiled "Not a platter but I wouldn't mind having your heart in general" she then blurted out... what was wrong with her? She couldn't say she was in love with him, but something in her heart and something about Zephyr and that night, and seeing him now made her want to keep him forever, she could never imagine losing him, which only brought her to the thoughts of him saying he never stayed anywhere to long. She could only hope he'd stay here... just long enough.

They were now entangled in one another, doing the waltz, something Svet's heartbeat had sped up for. She could have danced with any man in the world and not felt such things like she did with Zephyr, she couldn't grasp whatever it was making her feel like this man was her soulmate, but she supposed time would unravel the mystery of them. Widened eyes peered into his, which said she could trust him ... but there was no question, no doubt whatsoever  when it came to trusting him. "I trust you" she stated in the form of some-what a sensual whisper. Her tone soft and dlicate with a smile to match

Suddenly after following Zephyr, Svet was in a hall, replaced floors with hard wood, and their clothing had changed to, she knew he'd gotten in her mind, but his intentions pure, as he showed her something beautiful. Curling her arms around his neck as her dress ruffles moved around gracefully to the enchanting music, she looked deep into his his, and before Svet could even tell herself to stop, her lips were against his, and in that moment, she'd frozen in time but her lips seemed to continue their assault against his.. Somehow, he'd won her heart without even trying, and she didn't fight it, she would have died for this man as much as he would have her that night, and she still felt that way. "I can't believe you're here. Zephyr I don't know why, but I feel so much for you...." she trailed off but continued twirling around the floor with him.
