Alastair was born in England, to a family of pure Nephilim named Hastings. They are a wealthy family that live on the Island of Mull. There they have established a large manor house which has a secret cave system beneath it. The cave system holds a family library that's been passed on for generations, it includes family history, historical events & knowledge of the supernatural along with much more. Theirs also a natural pool in one of the cave tunnels where it's traditional for the family to give blessings & christenings to family members & friends. It's said to hold pure, divine water.

Alastair came to appreciate the quite, laid back life on Mull but it wouldn't be enough to satisfy him. Being a Nephilim, he'd been trained in martial arts along with weapons. He'd become particularly skilled in Archery & using twin blades. Usually he'd challenge his cousins & siblings to duals which was encouraged in order to improve their skills along with pushing their pain threshold.

When he turned 20, Alastair heard about a comet hitting a city in America named Evermore which was covertly established by a group of supernaturals. It was intended to be a safe haven for them, however with so many varying species it had become a warzone. Though most humans were blissfully unaware of the war going on around them.

The comet had given birth to many rumours, claiming it had affected many species from all over, the Nephilim being included. He wanted to learn more about this, plus he was looking for some adventure in his un-ordinarily quiet life. So with that he said his goodbye's to his family & took off to Evermore where he hoped to find some excitement.
