April grew up around her family on the Isle of Mull, being the youngest of her siblings she was always closely protected & made to feel safe. She was the apple of her Mother's eye, her smile infectious to those around her. April truly was a little Angel from the moment she was born into the world. 

As she began to grow & learn, with each step she took & first word she spoke April thrived in her surroundings. April seemed to have a strong intuition which often helped her to determine when her siblings, her sister in particular was up to no good. But as she began to grow this only became more prominent to the point where Hermione would often lament over how April always seemed to just show up & spoil her fun just before it got really interesting. But Hermione's idea of fun & lack of caution was often seen as something that could place her in hot water, through April's eyes.

As a young girl April would join her two Brothers Oscar & Alastair in the family library where she would read story's from the past written by her ancestors, the sort that you'd expect to read in fairy-tales the difference being they were documented as fact. She would still go out to check up on Hermione every now & then throughout the day knowing more likely than not she'd be up to some sort of mischief. April would always act as the voice of reason.

When she finally turned Seventeen, April walked in on her sister preparing to make a run away for it to join her brothers in Evermore where she'd hope to find adventure. April gave her an ultimatum, that she would either allow April to come with her or she'd tell their parents immediately. Begrudged by the fact, Hermione reluctantly allowed April to join her on her quest to Evermore.
