Aquaria’s story begins just after her birth. She was born in Sydney, Australia on July 27, 1996 but to this day she is unsure of who her birth parents are. A month after she was born her birth parents had met a lovely couple who said they couldn't have kids due to a medical problem and Aquaria’s parents had asked them to look after their daughter until she turned 18. The couple happily agreed and asked them if there was a catch. Aquaria’s parents smiled happily and said that they only had a couple of requests. Those requests were to name the girl Aquaria, that they would have to love and care for her, and asked them to keep her safe until the age 18. Her parents knew that she would want to search for them once she had gained her powers and learned the truth but they insisted that she could not look for them until she turned 18.

Aquaria then grew up under the loving care of her adoptive parents Charlie Kenton and Lila Kenton. Although growing up in a rich family Aquaria loved the smaller things in life and found herself quite fond of the water. The love of water began when Aquaria hit the age of 5 when her adoptive parents had taken her to the beach. When the waves trickled along her feet Aquaria’s eyes lit up and she played in the water for hours. As they were ready to go home they had a lot of trouble getting Aquaria out of the waves but eventually got her out of the water and back home.

At age 14 Aquaria noticed the appearance a tribal tattoo on the lower part of her back. Scared about the tattoo when she did not get one Aquaria ran to her parents who were sitting in the living room. As she explained the unknown appearance of the tattoo she began to tear up because she was afraid of what was happening. As she told them about the tattoo they asked her to sit down so that they could tell her something. After sitting down they told her about her birth parents and how her birth parents told them she was a special girl. Her birth parents didn't actually tell them what it was that made her special except that the tattoo was a part of her birthright. After talking to Aquaria about her parents, Lila and Charlie handed her a small blue velvet box containing a silver necklace with a large blue gem that reminded Aquaria of the ocean. As she took the necklace out of the box Lila explained to her that the necklace came from her mother. Charlie told her that her biological mother asked them to hold onto the necklace until the tattoo had made its appearance which was why she was receiving it today.

Aquaria sat there and listened to them as they tried to explain what was happening and when they told her she was adopted her heart sank as she felt an emptiness begin to form. Aquaria stood up from the couch and ran to her room keeping the necklace clasped in her hand as she did so. Worried about her Lila went upstairs to Aquaria’s bedroom so that she could talk to her. As they talked Aquaria asked Lila for her biological parent’s names but Lila held her head low and informed Aquaria that her birth parents would not divulge that information to them. Aquaria went to her dresser and began to take clothes out and pack them in a suitcase saying that she had to find her parents. Lila took hold of her hand and sat her on the bed and explained a few more things to her. She informed Aquaria that her birth parents knew she would want to find them but had asked them to keep caring for her until she reached the age of 18 however Aquaria did not care about that she just needed to find out more about her biological parents. Lila smiled at Aquaria which was quite hard to do since she knew that Aquaria would be leaving them and asked her to wait as her mother had instructed. Lila also informed Aquaria that she knew this day would come and that Charlie and herself were saving money for her to do so but the money was unavailable to her until she reached the age of 18.

Aquaria sat back on the bed and held her head low telling Lila that her heart felt like it had a hole there and she needed to fill it but she agreed to stay with them until the age of 18 like her other requested. Aquaria sat in her bed for a few hours before taking a walk down to the beach to get some cheering up. After a few hours at the beach Aquaria’s eyes lit up once more and her smile returned to her face. It wasn’t long before she headed back to the house with a smile remaining on her face as though nothing had happened.

In the days that followed Aquaria began to notice strange things happening to her when she was around water. It first began in the shower the day after her realization of the strange tattoo on her lower back. The water began to move around her in an odd manner which freaked her out. At first the strange occurrences only lasted for a minute or two but as she grew older and her powers grew with her the strange occurrences happened more frequently and lasted for much longer periods.

It wasn’t until she reached age 17 that she learned to gain basic control over her powers and learn more about them. However she had a long way to go to be perfect with her control and she hoped that in the next year she would be able to find her mother and get her assistance in training and learning more about her powers. Aquaria still visited the beach as often as she could and like to practice her powers over water near a secret waterfall that she found one day on a hike through a forested area near the beach. While she was at the waterfall she had no worries about anyone seeing her practicing because it was far out of the way and very private.

The day had finally come when she could go in search of her biological parents. When July 27, 2014 came Aquaria received a rather odd letter in the mail. There was no return address and no indication as to who had sent it. All the letter said was “You will find what you seek in Evermore, Colorado”. Aquaria found a map online using her laptop that gave her directions on how to reach Evermore and hoped that she would find her parents in the city as well. Before leaving her adoptive parents she thanked them for giving her such and incredible life and that she would never forget them. Charlie and Lila smiled handing her the key to an electric motorcycle they had gotten her for her birthday, which she kind of expected since they asked her to get her license for a motorcycle. Aquaria hugged them once more and gave them both a kiss on the cheek before departing for her long journey to Evermore City.

It took Aquaria about a month to reach the city of Evermore even though she was unsure as to how she would find her parents. She had no idea where to start or who to ask but she needed to find answers. She needed to find her parents and get help with what was happening to her.
