Astrid was born on June 11 1995 in a large house in the middle of nowhere. Her father had left before she was born, and so her mother had brought her up alone, isolated from most other people. Her early childhood years were a mixture of homeschooling and training, however her mother never told her about her nephilim heritage. Astrid believed she was a normal human until she began attending the local high school and discovered how different she was to the normal humans. Confused but intrigued by her differences, she eventually learned the truth from her mother.

Astrid wasn't thrilled to be different, and so she attempted to continue living a normal life. At 17 she moved away from her mother and into the closest city - Evermore City - to study biology. Out of habit and a newfound awareness of the supernatural, she continued her training as she began her new life as a college student and waitress. Her mother was quick to point out the community of nephilim who resided in Evermore City. Astrid never approached them, however, as she wanted a normal life.

One and a half years later, on May 14th 2014, Astrid was finishing up an overnight shift at work when she heard screams. Startled, she locked the doors of the cafe and hid behind the counter. She was found by her manager a few hours later, having fallen asleep on the floor.

Although the small circle of friends she had made were not affected, Astrid knew that whatever had happened was something to do with the supernatural. The next time she contacted her mother, she asked her to introduce her to the other nephilim in Evermore City. Since then Astrid has continued her simple life as a college student and waitress, but has recently found a growing interest in her newfound nephilim friends.
