On a cold winter night in a small log cabin in the woods. There was a child born at midnight on Christmas day, to Karis Black and David Blake two young 19 year old's had became parents. To a beautiful baby girl which they decided to call her Angel Blake, a name which was of the time she was born but also a good strong name for her species. Angel was raised in that small log cabin where she had everything a growing child would ever want. Life for young Angel was better than anything you could possibly imagine, she was born into a pure blood Nephilim family something which at first she didn't understand but the more she learned. The more Angel soon became to understand what she was and what was expected from her, however her parents did not force her into anything of course they taught her everything they possibly could. Angel's parents also wanted her to enjoy her life and mix with the other species which lived among them.

Angel went to school like every normal person however she did know from a young age that she was far from normal, but she never did give a single secret of her life away. Angel was called the golden child to many different people and she was respected everywhere she went, maybe it was because her manners and respect for others made people like her. So thankfully Angel did not have that much trouble making friends; nor did she seem to have trouble with anything, she always got her top marks in school and always managed to keep out of trouble, something which was hard for her little brother Nicholas who was born on Christmas Eve. Angel was over the moon that she had someone who she could bond with and be close to, as the pair grew together and learned more ways of the Nephilim they both made a promise to each other. No matter what they would always protect each other; and never let anyone stop them from being siblings or from being who they really were, which did make their parents proud so when their family decided to hit the road to make for a better life.

Things only got better they seen the whole of America and got to see many different things, which to a young girl like Angel was the best thing she could ask for. Angel growing up never did ask for much apart from making sure those she loved stayed safe. However her wish was not answered one night; while they stayed at a local motel resting up for the night hunters of the Nephilim had tracked her family down, slaughtering Angel's parents the young girls heart in her eyes was ripped out. That was when Angel knew she had to step up to her promise moving her brother with her that night, she remembered a city her parents had told her they were moving too. Evermore City somewhere that they could be safe and free from this kind of thing, so Angel as the elder sibling stopped running at a local motel about 100 miles from Evermore. Meeting someone Angel and her brother both changed their names from their cheerful Christmas names, to something less cheerful and more normal.

That beautiful girl Angel had decided to change her name to Carrie and her brother from Nicholas soon called himself David after his father. It was from their the Carrie moved on, and finally landed the pair of them in Evermore City were they both fell to their knees in front of what they didn't know at the time was the Nephilim Ambassador. Begging her to help them Carrie explained to her what had happened and how the two needed to get to safety. Something which Carrie now hoped would happen and they could start their lives over again, which they did Carrie got a job quickly and soon got the money up for an apartment. Moving into the Nephilim community; only Carrie, David and the Nephilim Ambassador knew what the two young Nephilim's names actually where, it was from there Carrie had made her final decision to stay in Evermore it seemed to draw her in more and more and offer her and her brother a better life.
