BIOGRAPHY

Born as Adaliya Cherone in a small town known as Stonehenge, located somewhere in Australia. It was on a rainy day when she was born. Her parents were known as Odina and Alo Cherone. Their father, Alo was a strong warrior and their mother, Odina who is a French native was more spiritual than others, as many did not believe in her beliefs. She believed that things like medicine were not good for the human body. Whereas she was one with the earth and believing that earth itself had special healing powers. All the two ever wanted was a child of their own to love and care for. Adelaiya had the brightest blue eyes you could ever see and the biggest smile that grew for miles every time she saw her parents face. Growing up, Adaliya’s parents knew she was special from a very young age, having impeccable knowledge and little did she know, she’d age into her own source of power. Many didn’t understand Adaliya as she was ahead of her time. Growing up to be just like her mother, yet she was smart with everyday things, among other things that no one seemed to care about. Such as facts about history and what came before them. Her mother and father always told her stories about a species called the Intia who could control the elements. It was always her favorite time of the day.

Days had passed into months. Months passed into years and before they knew it. Adaliya was five years old. Still smart as a tack. However, by the time she was five. Her mother was pregnant once again with another child. To keep herself busy and always wanting to find more information about the stories her parents told her. Always finding herself deep within books that she would get from the local library. What really fascinated her was the science behind it all and how the elements came about. Months had passed by, her parents attempting to get her ready to become a big sister. Sitting her down, getting her to understand what was about to happen and how she was going to start having more responsibilities as a big sister and that it wasn’t always going to be about her books anymore. However, even with that conversation. They still seem more stressed than ever with the baby coming soon as Odina started to get sick. That it made her bedridden so by the time it had finally come to where her little sister was born, there became complications to the point where their mother died during birth. Odina and Alo had already picked a name before she was born. Verzella. A name they both had gone back and forth over for months. Distraught and saddened over the passing as their mother’s body had to be brought back to her native roots to be properly buried. Showing his own way of respect before they took her body, wishing her a peaceful passing. After her mothers passing, Adaliya found the local library as her safe haven, always in the secret room, reading each book she can. It came to the point where Adaliya had read every book the place had to offer. However, she always found herself going back to the elemental books as she had a fascination with them. More so with water. She could never understand why. When it came to having questions about what she was reading. Odina's mother was always there. However, it was much different this time, with her mother’s death. Everything stung and it hurt to the point where she closed herself off, not wanting to face her father or her newborn sister.

It was on her seventh birthday she had found a tattoo on her lower back as she looked in the mirror. Yelling for her father, worried as she didn’t know what was going on. Father proud and beaming with light. ‘ you’re going to grow up and do great things, my little darling.’ Alo knew exactly what that tattoo symbol meant. Only wishing Odina was here to witness this moment. Later that night, after he helped Verzella into bed. Alo sat Adaylia sat down and explained to her how all the stories of the initia species were true and how their family was a part of them. Everything suddenly started to make sense. How she was obsessed with the elements. How she felt some type of connection with water. Alo went on to explain that her tattoo was called an infinity sign. Explaining there was one for each element and how her’s matched with the water element.

Months passed and Adaylia was growing into her power, while her father had his hands full with Verzella. Alo thought it was time to send Adaylia off somewhere, where she could get the attention and the help she needed with her power. He remembered what Odina once said. ‘You’ll know when it’s time. Don't ignore the signs.’ That night during dinner. Alo told her what her mother’s dying wish was and how this was all planned out, months in advance before her mother’s death. They knew she was going to pass away due to how sick Odina was getting. She wanted her children to have the best. Although Adaylia wasn’t happy as she didn’t want to leave her father, she understood. From all of the tribes of each element possessed, she was brought to a tribe called the three element nation. This particular nation only had Water, Air and Earth as they believed all three coexisted peacefully together as they needed eachother to survive. There were others who were just like her. Who wanted to learn how to use the powers of water and everything it represents.

It didn’t take long for Adaylia to settle in her new home after she had her second ceremony, confirming her place in the tribe, along with her second tattoo that was the color blue for the water element. It took her by surprise when she had found out that her both father and mother were both well known in this tribe. Her father was known for his bravery in the war and in the tribe. Their mother was well respected among her people and knew everything about her element. A few years had passed and Adaylia was now the ripe age of twelve years old. She had really found herself in her element over the last few years. Having kept in touch with her father and sister over the years by letters. Describing how this was probably the best thing that had happened to her. How she made friends and described what her every day looked like. Getting up in the morning to go to her training classes and eat lunch. Iit was early in the morning as she was set to go to the Grand Master’s office for their weekly get-together. It consisted of her telling him how her training and how she did miss home every now and again. But this time was different. As she entered his office, she had found a trail of blood leading to the door and over to his desk. There he was. The Grand Master himself had gotten killed. He was found with a knife in his chest. Little did she know, her life was about to take it’s turn for the worst.

Whispers turned into rumors as it had gotten around that Adaylia was the one that managed to kill him just because she was the one that found him, with blood all over her shirt and her hand on the knife to pull it out of his chest. She felt terrified and pleated with them. She told them it wasn't her, they. could see in her eyes that she wasn't lying every time they asked her. After a few days of interrogating her, she was set free but watched over. It was soon decided that Adaylia had to be sent home for her own safety. As much as she hated the thought, she understood.

The ride home with her sister and father were quiet. ‘Did you really do it? Did you really kill the Grand Master?’ said her sister as she had finally broken the silence. Alo, their father gave a quick glare to Verzella. Of course she didn’t kill the Grand Master, but no one believed her. It was even more scary with the fact that her father didn’t really have anything to say to her either, since leaving. ‘Say something.’ in reference to her father. It probably wasn’t best to have the conversation in the car with her sister around.

Later that night. A conversation was held between the two. It was good to know that her father still believed in her at the end of the day. His opinion was the only one that truly mattered. Weeks had passed making it where her sister’s seventh birthday was only a few days away. Adaylia was thankful as it was something to take her mind off all the hate and bullying she was getting. The night before Verzella’s birth, Adaylia found herself staying up throughout the night as she was putting things together for her sister’s birthday; such as a birthday cake, streamers and a few gifts that had been placed on their kitchen table. Verzella’s birthday went off without a hitch. As the night ended, her sister finally had gotten the tattoo. Making her a Initia as well.

The party only did so much with drowning out what was going on around her. All the bullying and the hate got to the point where even her father was getting weird glances as people started to lose their respect for him. It was no sooner than a day after her sister’s birthday that she had come home from the store with a letter taped to the door. It is being addressed to Adaylia herself. Out of curiosity, she picks it off the door and turns it. The envelope was sealed shut. Making her way to the bedroom. Peeling the envelope open. Instead the envelope was a white piece of thin paper. The words looked as if they had been typed from a typewriter. ‘thanks for taking the fall back there. You're a real champ’. it had been signed by anonymous.

As days went by. It never failed that Adylia would receive a letter for each day. Worrying her to the point where she finally let her father in the loop of what was going on. ‘You and your sister need to pack your bags. You’re not safe here anymore.’ Suddenly, all of this became more serious. Just by a few letters.

Bags packed. With a kiss on each of their foreheads. He called a long time friend to help his girls get out of town and to make sure they’d have enough money to do so. They moved to another part of Australia that not many people traveled to. Once they arrived, they had their own room inside of his home which was near a lake. His name was Kinzle. A very respected older man who knew more about them than they did of him. After staying there for a few days, they learned that he was their mother's older brother banished from the tribe for having three elements. They believed it was selfish to have more than one element. So their father knew they would be safe. He was an outcast too. In a way, Adaliya felt bonded to the man. He had been so much like her mother, only made her want her mother back. Her heartaches for her touch but she knew it was never possible. She spent the day in her room looking at old photographs of her mother with Verzella by her side. The two thought she was so beautiful and they both had her eyes.

The two continued to live there for a few years until Adaliya turned eighteen, finally about to receive her ceremony of which path she would take. Kinzle knew this day would come and wished their father was there to see it but they wrote letters to him everyday, hoping he received every one. Kinzle called for his friend Fanner, German initia who he met during a war he was in. He saved his life from almost getting killed so Fanner owed him a favor. After all these years, the blonde Fanner became a water bender and a master. As he arrived on a boat from the lake, the ceremony was only moments to begin. After it was complete, she had picked the route of becoming a master in training. Verzella was only fourteen years old, wishing she could be just like her sister. Fanner congratulated and welcomed her into the water tribe before he was sent away on the boat, his hand waving them goodbye. They knew he couldn't stay long, it was dangerous if he did. Considering they thought everyone was still after her. Finally, all that training that she had done paid off for something.

It was the moment she had been waiting for to take the next step in her training courses, only wishing her father was around. Life had officially started as a master in training. Waking up every day, practicing with Kinzle as much as one could. Life was better now that no one knew where they were located, granted life was different. But at least she had her sister. Years had passed, not without news that Kinzle had a sickness that couldn’t be cured. It felt as if everyone around her was dying. It wasn’t a good feeling, but Adaylia had promised the man she’d do everything in her power to make him feel better.

Time had finally come where her sister was of age to have her own ceremony, as she was now the ripe age of eighteen years old. Giving her sister the biggest hug as she was nothing but proud of her. ‘Only if dad could see you now. He’d be just as proud of you as I am.’ Verzella was just as hard of a worker when it came to her element as Adaylia was, if not harder. Fanner finally came back with some news. Whoever had been stalking Adaylia had been gone for a while now. Which was good news, but also bad because they hadn’t captured the person who killed her Grand Master. Offering the two a ride home after the ceremony. However, Adaylia politely declined as this was their home now, with Kinzle. Everything was changing for the good, she thought. Verzella was growing up. Last time she had checked, it was only her twelfth birthday and she was just as proud of her as she was then.

It wasn't long until Kinzle grew sick and weary that the girls knew he didn't have much long to live. As they hovered over his bed, arms wrapped around his body as they were giving him soft hugs. They kissed his cheeks and promised him everything was going to be alright. They both thanked him for everything. The next day, he was found dead in his bed. After a few moments of crying, the two girls pulled his body onto a bed of sticks with tall wooden sides with yellow daisy flowers they picked together. They placed their hands to their heart and wished him a very respectful farewell before pushing him off into the lake that was behind his house. Adaliya followed the floatable bed, controlling the water as it went with one hand and the other flicked a match. She then quickly threw the lit match onto the bed. He was lying on and watched as it engulfed in flames. Verzella fell to her knees, crying out loudly. As Adaliya walked back to Verzella, they both hugged each other and cried.

It had been the worst few days had passed after his death. The house was too quiet, they missed his voice yelling through the house as it echoed. Adaliya stayed in her room. Verzella stayed in hers for a few days. Until they pushed up the entourage to clean out his room. As they moved to his closet from cleaning out his bedroom. There had been a false wall in the back of the closet which opened to a small room. Only room for a large long suitcase. By the look of it, it looked like a coffin. Upon the long suitcase, the words 'open me' were typewritted on a folded white piece of paper. Adaliya, curious as she was, peeled the piece of paper from the suitcase and opened it before Verzella could stop her. It was from Kinzle himself. He stated to them how he left all this money to them since before and after he found out his sickness. He knew they would need it and there was a key to a cheat for everything pertaining to the house. It was theirs. They had a place to call home, permanently. Although their hearts were missing Kinzle, they were truly grateful for his generosity. Adaliya finally opened the large suitcase. Thousands of dollars were seen and the two of them lit up with excitement.

Adaylia felt as if everything was finally falling into place. The next years of their life were set into stone. Over the course of the years to come. They invited their father over as much as they could as he was a missing key in their life.

As time came, Adaylia managed to touch up a few places in the house that were needed. Upgrading as much as she could. The Kinzle household became something of a forever home. As much as she loved the house and how grateful she was. Adaylia had this itching feeling inside of her that was longing for more. She had proposed the idea to her sister to go to Paris, where her mother was born and buried. Happily accepting the idea. The girls backed their bags and went. They couldn't have been more excited. They took a plane and off they went to paris. A family member who was very far off on the family tree of their mother met them there. Adaylia was excited to travel. Getting to see all the sights that she never thought were possible. Each night they decided to write letters to their father, along with pictures of the places they had been in Paris. They were brought to a house which was labeled Monet’s house, figuring out how it was her mother's house. They were sent to stay in her bedroom where she grew up. Everything was hitting hard for Adaylia as she did feel close to her. Wanting to be strong for her sister, she held back the tears that were getting ready to overflow. Odina never really told her stories about her side of the family, never being able to friend out why. The only thing she managed to tell Adyalia was that they had family in Paris.

It wasn’t long before the sister’s received their monthly letter from their father. Expect this time, it was different. Adaylia had read the letter first without her sister. It explained how their father passed away peacefully in his sleep. Giving him the ceremony he deserved as pictures were attached. It also stated how in his will. The house was left for them and a handful of money, but not to worry. As it stated in the will, he had left a housekeeper in charge to keep up with the house chores. It was just her and her sister now. She had to figure out how to tell Verzella without her getting her all in a tizzy.

The next night, she had sat her sister down and told her the news. Hugging her sister as tight as she could. ‘It’s gonna be okay.’ sighing softly. Adaylia started to pack their bags, as it started to feel as if they had overstayed their welcome. They needed to find a place of their own, to settle down and start their own lives. Their mother’s family told them about a ship docking off the ocean within the next twenty-four hours if they wanted a safe trip. Their best bet was to get to the United States with much haste.

Placing the letters and pictures within their bags as they were off to meet the boat. Port wasn’t too far off as they said their goodbyes to their family. ‘It’s just you and I now, kiddo.’ wrapping her arm around Verzella’s shoulders.’ and off to the port they went.

The ship had finally arrived. A young man with brunette hair made an appearance. ‘how can I help ye ladies?’ with a quick response. ‘ We need to catch a ride to America. We have the money to pay if needed.’ with a smile and a nod. ‘Ye come to the right place. What’s ye names?’ It took a few moments for them to answer. Adaylia wanted them to start a new life. Which possibly meant new names. ‘The name is Charlie, Charlie Kinzle.’ Verzella looked at her sister weirdly. Before Verzella answered. ‘and this is my sister, Laine.’ the man welcomed them aboard. ‘The name is Sirus. Pleased to meet ya!’ shoving her sister forward. It was for the best they changed their names. It was the first step to their new life.

‘This is for the best, Ver.’ as they found themselves in their room. ‘It’s best we change our names and not look back.’ She wanted this life to be in the past. There was nothing left for them there, besides a few houses that were already being taken care of. ‘We will find ourselves a good place to settle down and we will finally start living our own lives.’ Verzella knew she was right. With that, a swift knock came at the door. ‘Sorry to uh, eavesdrop. But I heard ye looking for a place to settle down. There is this place called Evermore City in Colorado where a lot of people are finding their safe haven.’ Adaylia has heard whispers about this place back when Kinzel was still alive. There had been rumors that a few supernatural beings found their home there. ‘Uh, thanks.’ offering the man a gentle smile while tucking her hair behind her ear. ‘That’s where we are headed anyway.’ He smiled back with a nod. 'Sounds perfect then.' Adaliya saw Verzella rolling her eyes from the corner of her eye. She knew that she thought they were awkwardly flirting with one another. Verzella couldn't believe her sister as Adaylia gave her a small nudge as a sign to ‘shut up’. There had been rumors flying about that Evermore City was in need of a Master in training for water.

It took a few weeks to get to America, but they finally made it as they docked. Sirius gave his hand to both sisters to help off the ship as their bags were placed on the dock. ‘You don’t know how much this means to us.’ Adaylia stated. ‘Your kindness is much appreciated.’ digging in her pockets, pulling out some money. Sirius shook his head. ‘No money needed. Your kindness is enough.’ their car was a 1965 Pontiac two door coupe that had been waiting for a few minutes before the ship docked.

Throwing their bags in the back seat as Adaylia slid in on the driver side and Verzella on the passenger. Evermore City here they come. It was only a few hours away. America was so different compared to where they came from. Pulling out the map the car had already in the glovebox as they plotted their route. Before they knew it. They saw the sign that said ‘Welcome to Evermore City!’ they were finally home. They could finally start a life and not look back. This was what Adaylia needed.

It wasn’t long before they found their footing in the Initia tribe. A few years had passed where Adaylia found herself as the Master in Training for the water Element. Studying as much as she can. With living with her sister near the initia tribe territory, Evermore City was where she needed to be.
