Emily Foster was born into a pure Nephilim family and grew up learning from a young age everything there was to know about the Nephilim and any other species that existed in the world and roamed around freely. From the moment her parents set eyes on her, they knew she would be a courageous and brave woman when she was grown up, making her own decisions. From a young age, she showed qualities for helping people around her, no matter what their species was and she found a joy in doing so. 

As the years passed on, Emily spent her time learning everything there was to know about the Nephilim and everything that went on in the history of the species and how they came to be. As a young child, she devoted her time to learning everything that was available to know in the books her father had acquired and he was more than happy to let her read them knowing how eager she was to broaden her knowledge about their history.

When it came to the time for Emily to attend school, her parents decided it would be better to send her to a boarding school, only wanting the best for their daughter. When Emily heard from her parents about going away from her home and her parents, she had mixed emotions, being both sad and not wanting to be away from home whilst also sad and wanting an adventure away from home. Though when the time came, even though Emily was reluctant to leave, she did knowing it was the best thing for her to do. 

Over the years whilst Emily was at boarding school, she found the adventure she wanted and learned more, widening the knowledge she knew. Many of the people she had encountered whilst there, called her a know it all whilst others looked up to her with how much she had learned and how eager she was to learn more. 

After finishing boarding school with the correct grades she needed, Emily returned home to her parents, having not properly seen them in years other than at holidays where she travelled back to America to see her family. Having a close connection with her parents and any cousins that she had met in her past, seeing her family properly for the first time in a few years in her childhood home made Emily a lot more happier than she had been whilst away from them. 

Even though Emily loved being back home with her family, she still craved adventure and wanted to travel around America and the world. She wanted to find out about all the different cultures and that was what she did. She spent a few years travelling around to each state in America before travelling away from America and to Europe, going to England, France, Spain, Italy and any other country she could think off, enjoying her time she spent in each of them and learning anything she didn't already know. 

Emily was in New Zealand when she heard the news about her parents death. She had heard that they were travelling to Evermore City for the week when a massacre broke out, many people dying and killed within the boarders of the city. Upon hearing the news, Emily packed up and left New Zealand and her journey, heading back to America for her parents funeral. How she kept herself together, Emily didn't know but she knew she had to be strong for the rest of her family and most importantly, for herself. 

After the funeral, Emily went back to her childhood home and packed everything of her own away and any pictures she wanted to keep of herself and her parents. Emily knew she couldn't stay there any more, the memories too fresh in her mind with the recent deaths of her parents. With everything she needed packed and loaded, Emily headed for the one place she never thought she would go to for a home. Evermore City. The place of her parents death but also the place that supernatural creatures from all over resided in, hoping for a new fresh start with no questions asked about her past, though she knew, eventually they would come.
