Milah was born the youngest child of Trinah and Oliver Aequor, she never experienced any of the life that both of her parents had to endure, they had both been Initia deviants and been outcasted from their lives from the moment they were revealed to be something different. Milah grew up in an undersea kingdom where she was treated like royalty, not that she ever wanted that. She grew up alongside her older brothers, Varen and Killian. The young naiad had little interest in her palace duties and instead focused the majority of her attention on adventuring and wishing she could see places beyond their home.

Milah was often described as somewhat of an attention seeker growing up, she would argue with her parents about them keeping her in the kingdom and would often do drastic things to get their attention. Despite all this, she was close with both of her siblings and would often treasure the time she spent with them. When Milah reached maturity she gained her water wings and could finally venture out into the kingdom further than she had before, though her parents wanted her to stay home and assist with leader duties, Milah would often ignore their requests and follow her brothers out to their respective jobs and with time she was given permission to take on responsibilities to uphold the protection barriers around the kingdom.

After several centuries Milah had perfected her element control and could conjure ice with ease which allow her to create shields and barriers within the water but one dark day Milah was called to a meeting with her mother back at the castle she was raised. Milah was reluctant to return home as she suspected her parents may be afraid of losing her as she had not returned to the castle in a long while but upon entering the chamber she found her mother and two brothers over the body of her father, whom had been to the surface and entered a situation with humans, it was unclear as to the how's and whys, but the result was definite. Her father was dead.

Milah struggled without his father in his life but he managed to find a way to cope, she quit her role on the protection squad and took to adventuring alone, trying to find those who were responsible for her father's death. Milah's mother had taken the death of her mate hard, she locked herself in her chamber and refused to come out and abandoned her duties to the kingdom entirely, with time her ability to call other Naiad to her faded and the gift was passed to Killian. Milah often visited her brothers but they understood that she needed to continue her search, it was the only thing that made sense to her following her father's death.

Milah spent several years searching for the humans on the surface however she never managed to track them down and eventually the pain had numbed enough that she could let it go, her brother has found it difficult to run the kingdom alone so when he called upon her for help she reluctantly agreed and together the three siblings made a 3-way council and worked with one another to rule the kingdom. Milah was the most passionate and stubborn of the three and would often hold her point high when it was something she believed in, together the three made an suprisingly strong team and with time it became a routine for Milah and she was able to incorporate other things into her life too.

The day that Milah's mother finally left her chamber was hard for Milah, even after several years she still felt pain when she thought about how her mother had abandoned her family and everything that had ever mattered to her, she was angry that her mother hadn't fought like she had and had instead let herself whither to nothing. Milah allowed her mother to leave without a word, she wouldn't let anyone make her weak, not even her mother.

Life continued as normal for the Aequor family after this and Killian ruled the and Milah helped with his council for a good part of a century before everything was shattered. Several humans had been using a underwater travel device to scour the seas and found their way to the Naiad kingdom, the protection barriers had been ruptured and the humans were coming for them all over again.

Killian called a council with Milah and Varen, after several hours of debate it was decided that they would have to flee the kingdom for a safer area. Though Milah didn't want to leave her home to be destroyed, her childhood dream of exploring the world had also set in and she was excited to be able to start a new life.  Milah and her brothers had decided to flee to Evermore City, a place in  the north rumoured to be a sanctuary for all supernatural, it was a long trek ahead through the sea and then rivers but she was ready for the adventure, ready for the next chapter.

As Milah swam away from the place he had called home for the first millennium of her life she couldn't help but look forward, this was just the next step in her long life and for the first time, she didn't feel confined any more. She was ready for whatever the world had to throw at her.
