Natalia was born into a family who never were really around that much, and they had very little to do with her and her siblings Ethan, Angel and Jace. Her mother was always someone who loved to travel and live the life of exploring while her father was always away at work. So she never really got to spend much time with them or feel her parents love. However she was always close to her elder brother Ethan who seemed to put her and their siblings before himself,  so they all learned from a young age to stay close and look out for each other. Growing up for Natalia wasn't that difficult she always had money thanks to her brother Ethan, and she used to help him out with his summer job so she would end up getting money as well. Natalia didn't seem to find it that hard to make friends from a young age and she always managed to stay out of trouble, even when people were picking on her younger sister Angel. 

As Natalia grew up she began to hate her parents even more than she did when she was little, however she was more found with her elder brother Ethan and his friends. Natalia had a crush on one of Ethan's friends Daniel but she worried what her brother would think, so she never did tell him until one night he caught her kissing him and he seemed to be glad to see her happy. So Natalia never really had to worry much since she always was a bright responsible girl, however she wanted to become more independent so when her brother reached 17 and left home. She knew she would have to take over his role until she and her siblings could join him again, so she got a job and began to save and provide for Jace and Angel. 

Natalia soon had enough money to get her siblings and herself to finally get them to her elder brother again, however she worried her brother would be better off alone but soon discovered that he had missed them which made her cry at first. She soon discovered her brother had found a place called Evermore City which he had visited a few times before telling her, a place which she liked the sound of it was safe and a new place where she could finish school and focus on herself for a change. So she and her siblings worked together with Ethan so they could move to Evermore, they didn't find it that hard to get there since they all worked as a team so they could get to their new home. Although she didn't realize how much she wished her parents would have joined them and actually cared more for them, but she also didn't realize how much she had missed her brother along with how lonely they were all going to feel not knowing a single person that lived here. However Natalia pulled herself together and found a job while her brother found a place for them all to stay, Natalia quickly then joined the high school in Evermore as well so she could better herself.

Natalia lived with her siblings for for nearly 2 years when she noticed her brother Ethan's life was changing, and soon enough she began to feel that her life was going to be changed forever, Would it be for the better or for the worse? That she is still unsure off to this day because it was not long after that she noticed Jace was beginning to feel go through those same changes. However after a while he seemed to go back to normal which Ethan had not seen.

One day while trying out for the high schools cheer leading team she noticed a sun tattoo on her right wrist, which she began to worry as she couldn't remember getting any tattoo's since she was against them. However the tattoo did sting for a while, so she thought maybe it could have been something she got while out celebrating her brother's birthday but she soon realized she never had a drink on that night. Soon enough the stinging disappeared and she no longer cared about having this tattoo, although when she began to have these horrible nightmares she began to worry.

One night after falling asleep on her work while studying for an upcoming exam she woke up in cold horrible sweat, unsure of what was happening to her she looked around her room before getting up and trying to find her brother. She only managed to make it to the kitchen where she past out and hit her head on the dinning table, seeing people chanting around her, that passing out soon turned into a nightmare where she woke up screaming only to find her brother Ethan was standing over her. The girl she had learned to be was crumbling all around her, she was no longer able to hold a strong brave face she was crying as she clung to her brother who told her everything was going to be alright. However she did not seem to think so.

This was when Ethan explained to her that the changes she was feeling was actually her being tapped by the shifter gene, which only scared her more unsure of what a shifter was she begged her brother to make it stop but he couldn't help her in that way. So she begged him to take her to someone who could, which he then took her to Grayson the same person who helped her brother and explained what all of it meant.

The shifter clan she later met for real and those nightmares soon became a reality until they preformed a ritual on her which allowed her to sink into her element, to become the animal which had chosen her;
