Paige was born in the supernatural city of Evermore on August 23rd, 1995. Her mother’s name was Aurora Deveraux, the magister of the Initia faction; however Paige wouldn’t get the chance to know her mother because she was soon given up for adoption to the family of Marina and Ross Morgan. The only thing that Paige would have to remember her mother by was a package given to her adoptive parents for her to receive when she was 13 years old. Paige was soon taken from her place of birth and brought to Orlando, Florida to live with the Morgan’s as their daughter. Marina and Ross were rather wealthy and thought they could provide Paige with anything and everything she could ever want, however as the years went by Paige felt an emptiness growing in her heart that no amount of money could fix.

Paige was given the last name Morgan when they returned to Orlando, and went on to grow up into a beautiful young child. With each passing year Marina and Ross wanted to tell Paige of her adoption but they were afraid that she would resent them and want to know more about her birth mother, but they knew nothing of her biological mother other than her name and where she lived. However when Paige had reached the age of 10 she had overheard her parents talking about the adoption from the hallway and tears began to well up in her eyes as she ran back to her bedroom flopping onto the bed and sobbing into her pillow wondering why Marina and Ross would keep such a big secret from her. After overhearing that conversation Paige began to stop calling them Mom and Dad and referred to them by their names instead which worried Marina and Ross.

Paige now knew why she had an empty feeling in her heart, she wasn’t a true member of this home and somewhere out there she had another family. Not knowing when her parents would finally decide to tell her the truth about her adoption, Paige felt the need to confront Marina and Ross and ask them for answers regarding her biological parents. Her confrontation with her adoptive parents didn’t turn out very good though because they didn’t know anything about her birth father and very little about her birth mother. All they knew of her biological mother was that she was a very important person, her name was Aurora Deveraux and that she gave them a package to give to Paige when she turned 13. Paige asked them to give her the box then and there but they declined saying they made a promise to Aurora and would not give her the package until she was 13. Paige then requested that they get her name legally changed to that of her biological mother which made the Morgan’s feel heartbroken but they knew that if they didn’t do it themselves she would just find some way to have it done herself, so the next day they all went out and got Paige’s name legally changed to Paige Deveraux.

As Paige continued to grow up she began calling her adoptive parents mom and dad once again, though she will never forget the secret they kept from her. Paige kept her last name as Deveraux even after she returned to calling Marina and Ross, Mom and Dad. On her 13th birthday Marina and Ross searched for the package from Paige’s biological mother but could not find it for her which made Paige sad and she called off the party that was planned for her. Instead of being around other people on her birthday Paige wanted to be alone and spend the day swimming in the pool in their backyard. However little did she know that her life was going to change forever on that day. After swimming for about ten minutes Paige began to feel a sharp pain in her lower back. She had no idea what was causing the pain but it continued to grow until she was screaming out in pain, sinking to the bottom of the pool as the water surrounding her began to move in a tunnel like motion, draining the water from around her body so she didn’t drown as the Initia tattoo continued to form. After resting at the bottom of the pool for about fifteen minutes the pain subsided and the water slowly returned back into the lake raising the tired girl’s body from the bottom.

About 3 hours later Paige would soon find out what happened in the pool due to her adoptive father finding the package that Aurora had left for her. Paige swiftly opened it up hoping to get some answers as to what happened in the pool and sure enough she got the answer. Apparently Paige was a supernatural being known as Initia and could control 1 of the four elements water, earth, fire and air; however with training she could unlock a second element. Judging from what happened in the pool Paige guessed that she was an Initia of water and would have to learn to control those powers. She continued to dig through the box after reading the letter and found a lovely crystal necklace that looked like it held the ocean inside of it. Paige immediately wanted to go find her biological mother, however until she could control her powers it would be dangerous to travel with others for fear of injuring them.

Days soon turned into weeks and weeks turned into months, her skills of the water element continued to grow and she trained both mentally as well as physically to enhance her elemental powers. As the days continued to pass months soon turned into years and her mastery of the water element was far greater than she could have ever imagined; and on June 20th, 2015 Paige had decided she was ready to find her mother and head back to her birthplace but before she left her adoptive parents had one final present for her. They had been putting money into an account just for Paige since the day that they brought her home and over the years they had managed to save $5,000,053 for her to take with her when she wanted to go and find her biological parents. Taking the money they had given her she gave them both a hug and thanked them for everything they had given her the past 19 years before getting into her car and driving towards the supernatural city of Evermore.

By the time she had reached Evermore City it was now July 12th, due to all the stops she made along the way getting side-tracked by all the tourist attractions in the towns and cities she passed through. She wasn’t exactly sure where she was heading to but she had always followed her heart before and this was no different. Paige soon found herself at the base of the mountains where the Initia faction resided, she parked her car outside a large building and walked up the stairs unsure of who would answer the door, but she hoped that whoever came to the door would know her mother and where she could be found.
