Radley Matthew Sparks lived both heaven and hell as a child. He was born on March 15th, 1988 at 2:37 am, and his parents, Molly and George Sparks, were filled with joy as she held him in her arms in that hospital bed. While his father George was the owner of a very successful technology company known across the globe, his mother Molly was a kindergarten teacher at the local school in Evermore. Molly loved working with children but now that she had one of her own she decided to quit her full-time teaching job for a part-time substitute teaching position to care for young Radley. Life was great in the Sparks family, sure his father wan't home as often as young Radley wished he was, but spending time with his mother was both entertaining and educational. Radley had started being homeschooled at the age of 4, that was when his parents had told him of his supernatural heritage as an Initia and told him that one day he too would get the gift of one of the 4 elements available to the Initia.

Radley was only slightly shocked when he found out that he wasn't a normal human. He somehow felt different, but he couldn't quite figure out what it was that made him feel this way until now. As his mother began to teach him the things he would learn in school, she also taught him about the supernatural world and their hometown of Evermore. She told him how this place was a sanctuary for many different supernatural people and that the many factions of the city helped protect the peace in the city. Radley didn't do much exploring or playing with other kids of the Initia territory, instead he would rather be studying all he could with his mother, as well as spending time with his father while he was home.

Radley grew up to be a rather smart individual, he swiftly grasped any new subject his mother taught him in his studies, as well as learning everything he could about the supernatural world and how to tell one species from the other. Even though Radley spent as much time as he could with his father, the two of them never really saw eye to eye on Radley's future goals. His father expected him to take over the business that he had built from the ground up, but Radley knew next-to-nothing about technology other than how to use them. Radley had dreams to travel the world and meet many new people from all different kinds of cultures and learn from them in any way that he could, his mother of course loved his dream and encouraged him to follow his dream, however his father was none too pleased by his decision which drove a wedge in their relationship.

December 15th, 2000 Radley's life was about to take a turn for the worst. While out looking for a Christmas tree in the woods Radley, who was now 13, strayed away from his parents' view and got lost in the woods. However before his parents could find him, Radley was kidnapped by a man in his mid-to-late 30's. Radley had yet to tap his Initia element and knew nothing in the art of self defense so he didn't put up much fight against the man as he was ripped away from his parents. Radley was taken from not only his parents, but his home in Evermore as well. The man had brought young Radley right to Sooke, British Colombia in Canada, using his own helicopter to do it so that he wouldn't have to explain the boy to airport security. Radley was afraid that this man was going to kill him and he would never see his parents ever again.

Radley was forced to live with this maniac for 3 years... 3 years of hell, 3 years of torture, and 3 years of planning his escape. The only thing that kept him going was the thought of him getting home to Evermore and reuniting with his parents, that and a young female just a year younger than him who was in the same situation he was in. They had grown close over those 3 years and often comforted each other after there 'sessions' with the man who had taken them. On the day that would have been his 16th birthday Radley's elemental gift showed its presence while he slept. It started off with nightmares of his parents getting gunned down by the man who had taken him, he awoke with a painful burning sensation in his lower back. He thought for sure the man had began torturing him again but he was nowhere in sight, the only one there with him was the girl he had been sharing the room with for 3 years, Daisy.

After about 5 minutes of screaming the the room they were in caught fire trapping them in the inferno. Radley knew that he needed to control the fire element inside him and used the anger he had built up over 3 years to channel the fire's energy and allow him to gain control over it for just a few moments, long enough for him to stop the flames from spreading. He collapsed on the ground panting from exhaustion with Daisy right by his side, Radley knew then that he could get both himself and Daisy free from this mad man as well as put an end to him so that he couldn't kidnap anyone ever again. Daisy didn't like the thought of Radley killing the man because she didn't want him to have blood on his hands at such a young age, but she agreed to help him in any way that she could.

Radley got them out of the room and then quietly made their way to the old man's room. Radley focused all his hatred at the man who took them from their families and flames quickly encircled his bed. Spotting a bottle of alcohol on his bedside table Radley grabbed it and threw it at the man before watching him go up in flames. Screams filled the room as he flailed about trying to put the flames out and after about 20 minutes, the room fell silent and the old man was dead. Radley and Daisy then walked out of the building and disappeared from Sooke, BC as fast as possible. Radley had helped her get home to her parents before he began to make his way back home. When Daisy got home her parents were there to greet her, tears flowing, the sight was beautiful to watch for Radley before Daisy introduced him to her parents. Her parents were so thankful for his help in their daughter being returned to them that they had offered to bring him home to Evermore.

Radley, Daisy, and her parents boarded a plane to the states the next day. Radley was super excited to be going home and he hoped that his parents would be there to greet him when he got there, however that would not be the case. When they arrived at his home they all went in his house as he yelled out his parent's names, but no reply came. Instead another person came to greet him, it was his Aunt Michelle. She informed him that his mother had died a mere month after his disappearance from the heartbreak of losing her son. When Radley asked about his father, she told him that he had fallen into depression and began drinking. She also told him that he had died while driving drunk one night and he smacked into a telephone pole. Radley was crushed, he fell to his knees and screamed his parent's names as tears flowed from his eyes.

Daisy didn't want to leave Radley on his own to deal with such a tragedy so she asked her parents if she could remain in Evermore with him for a while. They weren't ready to let her go so they refused which made her sad, however Radley looked up at them and told them that they were all welcome to stay with him as long as they wanted. Her parents looked at each other and agreed to stay with him so that Daisy wouldn't have to leave. About a year later Daisy and Radley began to date and another year later they were getting married. Even though her parents weren't ready to let her go, they hesitantly left to go home after the wedding ceremony. However they did not make it home. While flying home, the plane her parents were on went down when one of the engines caught fire and there were no survivors. Daisy was devestated and Radley did his best to remain strong for his wife.

Life may have thrown them many curve balls, but things were finally starting to look up for them. Radley was now 18 which meant that he had become of age and obtained his parents' fortune of 2 million dollors as well as the controlling shares in his father's company. Radley didn't want to become distant from his family like his father was, so he sold his shares of the company for another million which increased his fortune to exactly $3,114,684. Radley and Daisy took $750,000 out of their fortune and opened up an internet cafe in the heart of Evermore. Free wi-fi, delicious beverages, and some wonderful home-made pastries that Daisy and Radley made together was what they offered at their cafe, which they called 'The Sparks Cafe'.

Everything was going well for them and on February 21st, 2013, Daisy gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, which they named Violet Rose Sparks. With the addition of Violet to their little family, Daisy began spending less and less time at the cafe which left Radley there to run the business himself. Not wanting to put all his time into the business so that he could be a father to Violet, Radley hired 4 employees so that he could spend time away from the shop and not have to be worried about a loss in revenue. After their frightening encounter as children, Radley and Daisy made a vow to each other NEVER to let their daughter out of their sight. They would make sure that she would get the chance to grow up like a normal child unlike them.

However once again Radley's bliss was about to be torn away from him. On May 14th, 2014, Daisy and Violet were on their way to the cafe to surprise Radley before he closed the cafe up for the night. However they never made it to the cafe... Both Daisy and Violet became casualties of the Evermore Massacre and Radley felt as though his hear had snapped in half at the moment his family was once again ripped from him. Running out of the shop, he ran through the city streets until he found a lycanthrope standing over the bodies of his wife and daughter with their blood flowing from its mouth. Radley screamed out in pain and focused all his power and rage on the Lycan, causing it to burst into flames. Once again Radley was all alone. He decided that he needed to get out of Evermore for a while, so he decided that he was going to travel the world and try his best to move on from his tragic past.

On January 1st, 2016 Radley decided that it was time to return to Evermore City. He couldn't run away from his problems forever which meant he had to return home. So he gathered his things and began his journey home and unbeknownst to him, he would recieve a second element upon his arrival home thanks to the comet that crash-landed in Evermore on February 6th, 2015. The comet had brought changes to the Initia members and he was about to find out just how different things were going to be when he returned home.
