Red Steelman was born in the midst of a brewing war between two small countries. When war broke out his parents were brutally slaughtered with out mercy in front of his eyes, this moment would scar him for life. He wandered the blood soaked streets miraculously dodging bullets and missiles though his head hung low, in his hands he carried the last thing he had left of his parents, a Bloody teddy bear.

He wanted to cry but found he could not, which made him even sadder. Eventually the fighting stopped and he found a home with two loving adoptive parents. But then came high school, he was skinny and tall and on top of that awkward and shy. He had no one to call a friend. His parents didn't understand him, he was alone and afraid. He had a crush on a girl named Lisa Moone, but when he asked her to prom she laughed in his face and told him to get lost. With rejection after rejection he grew more and more dark.

Sad alone afraid, with out love, he found that no matter where in life he went he never seemed to really fit in. Despite being depressing and sad he has a kind and gentle heart but his shell, no one wants to break. So he came to Evermore to try and find someway to be normal, to be human. To feel. And to live. To find others like him. His shift animal that he favors is a tiny brown bat that hangs upside down, because his world is blurry and upside down.
