Safety was a luxury Lakeith Parker took for granted in the city of Boston. Born to simply be an average man striving for achievement and stability, the young twenty-two year old med student kept his life simple and full of bliss as he remained unaware to the other world hidden in Colorado. He had a few friends, a girlfriend he sought to marry as soon as possible. But his good things came to an end along the eve of his wedding when his best man and groomsmen took their bachelor party to the woods for camping. Unbeknownst to them, a beast had ventured through the trees, and in it's careless, primal nature, attacked the six campers, leaving only two clinging to their life.

The wedding was postponed, his life on pause for the sake of his health. And though his friend was soon better, something far worse came upon Lakeith as he healed from the hospital; a few accidents with his strength, untamed urges, and an agonizing sensation clawing at his insides the closer he got to the full moon. It was then did he feel the change of his life take shape in the essence of pain, stretching and prolonging itself through his skin and bones as finally dragged his human flesh from his body in place of a vicious beast, the very one that matched his predator. 

He was frightened, unable to comprehend his once gentle and safe lifestyle. He knew he couldn't live the life he was forced into, all the while inviting it to the one he always wanted. Being a doctor, having a wife, maybe even a child or two down the line died with the old Lakeith as he got in his car and departed to someplace a little more quiet, unsure as to whether he'd be happy, or even content, as a monster. Changing his name to Zane Parker he decided to begin a new life in Evermore hoping to be able to face the new changes in his life and for the beast and man to become of one mind, unknown to him that being easier with either a pack or time.
