Thanks to Ha-joon, Hana had been introduced to a new series of songs, as well as guys to talk to. Lately, she had been getting back on board with her studying though. She had one year of college left to attend, and she didn't wanna fall behind when it started back. But, her brother bringing his friends over  had probed to be quite the distraction. Not that she could complain. Hana was constantly surrounded by attractive guys, and half of them were amazing dancers. But, she had to admit, there were days where she felt smothered by all of it, and often found herself leaving home, just so she could read and study without all the laughter, banter and flirtation being in her way.

Admittedly, Hana was guilty of most of the flirtation herself. She knew Ha-joon would eventually say something to her for it, but, she was entertaining herself the best way a female could in that kind of situation, and she was even guilty of liking it a little too much. Someone as confined and sophisticated as her, someone as sheltered as she had been, it was no wonder that the moment she got a taste of the wild side, she let herself drown in it.

Snapping out of thought, Hana clicked over to youtube, and browsed for the songs her brother danced to quite often right in their living room. Hana smiled as a familiar tune began playing. She figured after long hours of studying and researching the haunted Inn she had just started working at for Thaddeus, that she deserved a break. Getting to her feet, Hana done one of the dances she had pretty much memorized from Ha-joon, and laughed at herself as she watched the tall stand up mirror she had put in for her brother to practice, even though he rarely practiced at home. But, if he ever wanted to, he had a decent enough space to do it in. Hana wasn't much of a dancer, but she supposed it was a natural talent, even for her. Joonie was flawless though, and from what she'd seen of Yeon.. flawless didn't even begin to describe that man.

With the music still blasted, Hana dismissed herself to the kitchen, deciding to really indulge and enjoy her time in the house alone, by making a drink. Since she never drank, it didn't take much to make her tipsy. Deciding to start off slowly though, Hana sipped causally from the tall glass of Long Island Iced Tea,. the only drink in the world that had several different alcohol's in one. Hana headed back into her living room, and changed the song, barely hearing the knock at the door over top the MUSIC.

"Damn it Joonie, can't a girl get a break?" she groaned dramatically, and covered herself up since she was barely dressed. Or at least that's what Ha-joon liked to say about her clothes when he had friends over. Her very short shorts and tank tops didn't suffice for clothes at all. So, after tugging on a floral satin house coat, Hana swung the door open, and for a moment, stood there wide eyed. "Well, I don't think ive met you yet.. let me guess you're here for Ha-joon?" she asked, and gave him a faint smile while pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose. Hana knew how much danger she was in right now, so to let someone through her door, without even hearing them speak first, was just foolish, but nothing about this guy screamed danger at her, and Hana's senses were always on fire with the intensive training she'd been through back in Korea.

After running to sit her drink down, Hana turned the volume down slightly, but kept it at an audible level. She was sure she'd seen this one before, but she knew it wasn't someone Ha-joon had brought home with him, so now she was curious. Curiosity + Booze + Hot guys = madness for  Hana. At the very least, she had no filter. And, that was Hana even on sober days. So, this was about to be an interesting night to say the least. "I'm Hana.. the sister" she then said, introducing herself in probably the most inappropriate way she could have, blushing heavily at the realization of how she'd just said it all.

"I'm Sorry. I'm just so used to my brothers friends." she added, giggling softly, while twirling a strand of jet black hair around her pointer finger, with her hip poked out slightly; just something else Joonie hated. "Joonie's not here right now, but you should come inside.. he wouldn't want you to wait in the cold" she expressed, while grazing her teeth over her bottom lip. A look of mischief playing in her chocolate optics as she scanned him over one good time, and waited for him to speak. Hell, for all she knew, the alcohol had thrown her senses off completely, and he wasn't here for Ha-joon at all. That would have been pretty embarrassing. But, she knew he wasn't here for her. Hana was lame. For the most part anyways. Ha-joon definitely was the popular one among them. Anytime people had tried hanging out with Hana in the past, she pushed them away, and buried her head in books, prefering her studies over friends any time.

She'd been enjoying all the male company lately though.. maybe a little to much.

He grinned slightly, Leigh had never really been someone who had a lot of close friends he could turn to but he didn’t see why that couldn’t change now, he liked the idea of having people he could turn to when he needed them “It’s a little scary to put yourself out there huh?” he commented in an amused manner, people were unpredictable and you never knew how things were going to go, especially when you weren’t straight. He widened his eyes a little shocked when she jumped to her feet and headed off to get one of her jewelry boxes, before long she was showing him through all the ones she owned, he grinned looking over them all, he had never been a major jewelry person but he did wear earrings sometimes “Well look at you, you have a diamond for pretty much every occasion” he teased with a grin but when she offered one to him he looked down at it and then chuckled softly “Oh you don’t have to do that” they’d just met today after all, it was a rather expensive gift.

He shuddered a little at the thought of all the drunk people you would see at bars and clubs acting like they were teenagers, being disrespectful and mindless with their actions, it definitely wasn’t a place he enjoyed being “People just think drinking is an excuse to be a rude and do whatever they want without consequences which is never a good start” he commented shaking his head “Don’t get me wrong I’m not judging anyone who enjoys a few drinks but surely people should learn their limits and not become assholes when they drink” he shrugged slightly, he didn’t drink at all for addiction reasons, it wasn’t worth the risk for him. He nodded slightly when she agreed that finding her dreams was good motivation for her “I think that’s a good thing, no one should feel like the only good thing in their life is someone else” he commented thoughtfully, of course, someone else could be really important but also you needed to find your own joys in life too.

He beamed slightly as they talked about Minha, his dog was really important to him and always would be, it was basically a dating requirement for him that the person needed to get along with her because he would never give her up “She relies on me, I took responsibility for her when I got her and now I would never take that away, it takes a very cruel person to be able to turn their back on their dog like that” and honestly thinking about them made his blood boil a little. He nodded thoughtfully when she said he was right and that she thought judging people for their actions was a bad thing to do, people were so quick to jump to conclusions and paint people with brushes and honestly he just wasn’t here for that, he didn’t find it productive or fair. He laughed when she said there was nothing wrong with being a hermit “I don’t have the best track record with making friends” he confessed with a half-smile, still he tried anyway because no one wanted to be alone, not really.

The way she smiled when he said she could call if she wanted to vent told him that she didn’t feel like she had many people to turn to and honestly he didn’t mind being that person, he was in a good place now in the city and that meant he should probably make more effort to make and keep good friendships “No worries, I mean it wasn’t exactly what I was expecting but sometimes life is like that huh?” sometimes you had to roll with it just to see where it leads and who knows, maybe it would be something good. She was a really peppy and excitable person, that was the main thing he had noticed about her today and so it didn’t surprise him that she already wanted to make plans to go out and do something “The mall sounds fun, maybe we can go around a few shops and then get some lunch” he suggested as he shifted positions “Are you always so excitable?” he asked in a curious tone.

Hana sighed to herself. It definitely was scary to put yourself out there, and she imagined even more so in Leigh's case. She didn't struggle with that same issue, she didn't suppose, but she definitely knew how hard it was to put yourself out there."It's a cruel world.. unfortunately it's normal for it to be that way though. Fighting for literally everything we want is just how it is. It's scary to put yourself out there indeed, especially when you have no idea what outcome is waiting for you. I'm a control freak in a sense.. Justin the sense that I like to know what's going to happen.. I just like to know things. When I don't, it really messes me up" sometimes she couldn't even function properly when she didn't know what was going on.Hana at least had to be able to control her surroundings. And with the Triad after them, and everything going on with her brother, she definitely had no control over her life, and it was causing her to lose her mind a little. Being around someone like Leigh, would definitely balance her out. He was sweet, understanding and really down to earth.

She grinned back at him when he stated she had a diamond for every occasion. Hana loved fashion, and diamonds. Anything girly she supposed. She felt so cliche for loving the color pink as much as she does. "I guess you could say that" she chuckled, and glanced atall the diamonds she had, for the first time kinda realizing just how many were actually there.

Hana nodded, she figured if she could give him what she was trying to give him, he'd maybe take it when he left. She knew it could have came off a little awkward since they'd just met. But, Hana had a giving type of personality when she felt like she clicked with someone as much as she had with Leigh in such a short time.  She also cringed along with him. She did definitely feel out of place in the American bars she'd went to so far, where people mindlessly walked around .. or well, staggered around drunkenly saying whatever they wanted to say to you, and men grabbing women like they owned them. Honestly.. bars were scary for a petite girl like Hana and she was thankful that she hadn't learned a lesson the hard way by going to the very few that she had so far. "Ive went into a few bars here in the city. I think I'll stay away from them though" she chuckled, but not because it was funny, just because she didn't wanna bring the mood down. It was horrifying. But, she didn't want that to show on her features.

Hana loved some of the things Leigh had to say. When he'd said that someone shouldn't be the only thing in your life, she felt confused at first, but after rethinking his statement, she smiled brightly. "You're absolutely right. It's kind of unhealthy I guess... I mean, to center your entire life around a person..it  definitely takes away from anything you wanna do for yourself, and accomplishing your goals and dreams is out of the question once you've made your life about someone else" she frowned immediately though. Was she referring to Ha-joon? Her own flesh and blood? If so, was she selfish for feeling that way? She felt totally mind boggled just then. But, it was her true feelings.. she couldn't be anything other than real about it.

Hana frowned, hearing how Leigh felt about his dog. And he was right, "Yeah, you've got me there. Ill never really understand how someone does that..just abanadons a living breathing thing like that.. and animals have feelings just like we do, so yeah, it's pretty heartbreaking to see people mistreating them" she hoped she'd never have to see it up close. "But, at least you're different, and you seem to really love her" she smiled happily. It was always refreshing to meet someone that separated humble from evil. Leigh definitely seemed to have a heart of gold with certain things.

Hana grinned when he said he hadn't had the best track record with making friends. And, while she didn't really know his experiences with that..she at least knew that him coming here, had turned out to be one of the better things that'd happened to her lately, and she definitely hoped that after tonight, they could continue meeting up every now and then, and become actual friends. Hana nodded when he said sometimes life was just like that .. "It can definitely be surprising" she chuckled, a little, before excitedly nodding her head to his suggestion for the next time they meet. "I love shopping, but I love food even more, so that sounds like the perfect day to me" she chuckled slightly, feeling her cheeks blush. Hana was a petite girl, and many would assume she didn't eat the way she actually did.

Hana hated blushing like that, but she knew it was coming again as he asked if she had always been so excitable. She really wasn't sure though. "I mean, honestly. I don't know. I use to have friends in college.. but I kept them there.. we didn't communicate outside of college or studying. To have an actual friendship, i guess that does excite me more than it does the average person" she admitted, glancing over to him from only the corner of her eye. "I'm guessing you've never met someone so interested in a friendship so quickly" she responded, giggling softly. It probably did seem a bit.. much. But, Hana had always been this way, even if she didn't have many friends, from what she could recall, the few she'd made over the years, and those she'd made here in the city, she had made very quickly.. and all the effort was on her, she always jumped right into it. It normally worked out well, but she knew there would be a time where it didn't.

"So, is there anything you're afraid of?" she asked, knowing everyone had fears, and it seemed exceptionally high in this city. That there was always something, or someone to fear here in Evermore.

He chuckled when she said she was going to steer clear of bars “I went to a few of them...mostly to find hookups here and there” he grinned sheepishly, for a guy who didn’t drink he did spend a long time at bars. Needs and all that, though lately he had his attention stolen by one certain guy so he had stopped. Not that said guy had any idea he was crushing on him like that but he was special and Leigh couldn’t see anyone else when he was in the room.

He nodded slightly when she explained her own interpretation of what he said about choosing to center your life around someone else “At the end of the day you have to live for you and not for someone else, because the only person you can completely rely on to always be there, is yourself” he nodded thoughtfully. You had to be careful about how much weight you put on others because before you knew it they could be gone and you could be tumbling. He had learned the hard way how much it hurt to fall on your face when the person who was holding you up was gone.

He nodded sadly in agreement when Hana mentioned pet owners who could abandon their pets or worse, hurt them and make them sad. “Oh I really do, I swear there is nothing better than getting back home to her after a long day at the shop and she is just wagging her tail and so excited to see me and spend time with me” a lot of the time he took Minha with him to the store because he didn’t like the idea of her being alone in the house. She was a good girl and usually curled up happily behind the counter and didn’t bother anyone.

He laughed when she saif she liked shopping but food even more than that “Everyone loves food really, they’re just in denial” he teased with a grin “I heard they have a really great sushi place at the mall, opened up a few weeks ago” he nodded excitedly, he was always keeping an eye out for new places to eat, probably because he liked the idea of taking his friends or potential lover out on lunch dates. He laughed and shrugged “I was never really great at making friends, people tend to think I’m awkward and end up rambling about things that make them want to hit the snooze buttons” Leigh liked to think he was passionate but he knew it could be a lot for people who didn’t share his interests.

He laughed when she asked what his fears were “I could probably make you a whole list of the things I’m afraid of, spiders, snakes, falling, drowning, death” he shrugged slightly, who wasn’t afraid of death right? “I guess you could call me a serial worrier” he commented with a sheepish grin “What about you?”
