It has been a while since Seojun enrolled in Evermore University. He had chosen his course in criminology and remembered telling his Aspect of Light that it might be a good chance for him to pursue. Honestly, it was just an excuse to be able to see Argent more. Here, he could at least see her always and be by her side, in case anything happens. It had nothing to do with the fact that he has had this one-sided crush on her for the past century. Not at all.

Classes were as ordinary as it can get, he had two roommates who were annoying in their own nature but surprisingly enough, the therian grew to like their company. What an odd trio they were. He realized he had woken up late the moment his alarm rang for the fourth time and he kept turning it off, which resulted in Jihoon coming over to whack him because he was supposed to have his elective class.

“No fucking way…” he grumbled under his breath as he sprayed his cologne after washing up and dashed out without a second thought. As an Ailward Guard who was also a therian, he was agile on his feet, so he was able to sprint towards the faculty in 5 minutes with ease. By the time he got there, he realized the class has already started and cursed under his breath. How the hell is he supposed to get inside?

He peeked slightly and noticed there was a back door to the class and used it to get inside, being as vigilant as possible to not alert the lecturer teaching at the front. He snuck in silently and got a seat next to a blonde. He dropped his pen while taking out his book and reached down to get it, only to bump his head against the girl whi was also trying to help him. Freyja Silvermoon. How was it that he found her again in the big campus? “Well isn’t this a small world…”

Things in university had turned out differently than she had imagined, though in her defense, he had never really known much about it in the first place. That’s what happened when you spent so much time under a rock…or the snow, but the figurative worked in this case. Still…she enjoyed the idea of getting to do something considered ‘normal’ she’d never really been that in her whole life, but getting to learn new things, make new friends and figure out the world around her as she went, it was comforting.

She was one of the only ones who were always early classes, she thought it pretty rude and a waste of the professor’s time to not show up when things were scheduled. She liked to get there early so she could choose a spot that worked for her, not too close but enough that she could see what she needed to. She knew she looked eagar and she supposed in a way she was, learning was something she really enjoyed and if she was going to find a way to acclimate in this city, she needed to be good at something…anything.

She was staring forward, listening to the current topic when she heard someone shuffling in the seat beside her, hardly a surprising thing so she didn’t make much note of it, but when a pen came rolling in front of her she naturally reached down to grab it, only to feel a sharp thump against her forehead as she did so. She bit hard down on her lip to prevent her from cursing from the sudden pain but she managed to hold it down.

As she lifted her head she held out the pen which was in her hand and then her eyes widened when she saw who was in front of her. Well…she wasn’t expecting to run into him again…at least not in her elective class. “You” she commented in a somewhat disgruntled tone, while they had had quite the…interesting first meeting, she couldn’t say she had warmed to the male greatly, especially after he’d left before the sun even came up and hadn’t said a word to her since.

She was fully planning to ignore him and pay attention to the lecture, but the professor then instructed everyone to form pairs to further discuss the topics at hand and in their time spent on the floor, everyone else had found a partner.

He wasn’t rushing into class per se, not yet. He wasn’t that late, or that’s what he keeps telling himself. But by the time he crossed the hallways from the west wing to get to the east wing, he was sure he had bumped into plenty of people on the way, to which he didn’t even bother to say sorry. Oops?

He pushed the doors past him and snuck into his seat like it was nobody’s business. Until he realized someone bumped against him. Well, his pen fell and whoever the nice blonde was, she decided to get her pen for him and thus making them bump heads. “Yes me…?” She didn’t look happy and Seojun was trying to rack his head to why. Why was she not happy to see him? Did he do something wrong?

Throughout the class, he couldn’t focus on what his lecturer was teaching him, not that he usually would. His eyes were fixated on the niveis who seemed to have made it her mission to ignore him fully no matter what he does. But he was eternally grateful when they were asked to pair up and everyone else had theirs except them. What a lovely turn of events, he thought. “Why are you giving me the cold shoulder?”

She wasn’t really know what exactly she was expecting when it came to all this. What happened between them was completely unexpected after all…she was a little embarrassed to even think about it. Mostly because she felt pissed at herself for being so…attached to something that obviously meant nothing to him. It was easier to just ignore him…pretend it didn’t matter…it didn’t to him right?

She pressed her lips into a fine line. She remembered seeing him a few days after when he was over spending time with Argent, he had been so wrapped up in the conversation with her that she doubted he even noticed her presence. Right…that would make sense right, he had been there to see the redhead in the first place anyway. “I’m just reflecting the same energy I’m being treated with” she commented coldly.

She sighed when the lecturer essentially paired them together as the final pair and begrudgingly turned to look at him “You don’t seem like the type to be interested in literature” she commented, noting they both selected the same elective course.

He wasn’t sure what he expected when he came to the class again after realizing college life was not it for him after he deduced the fact that it was more than just lounging around having hot babes. But it was definitely not this, meeting his one night stand who is also actively glaring him down like he just murdered her kitty. “What is that supposed to mean?” He asked in confusion when she said she was just giving back the same energy she was treated with.

“I’m not treating you with hostility” he exclaimed, clearly being defensive because he was being accused of doing something he didn’t do. He scoffed because what has fate planned for them now that they are inevitably being paired up together for this project? Great. He has a cold chicken ready to freeze his ass off if he crossed the line without being careful.

“I’m not a philosopher, no. But it was either this or social justice, which is a total bore. Besides… I read a lot anyway, wouldn’t be hard.” He was already a real life guard working for the supernatural police. He didn’t need to take an elective class for social justice that will just nag his ears off with the boredom they provide. He opened the page and glanced over to her “You read?”

It took him approximately two minutes before asking her what he really wanted to ask since she started glaring at him. “Why are you so hostile to me? Be honest.”
