Erythreus couldn't concentrate on anything lately. Acting 'normal' was out the window along with his ability to care for women. He'd been hoarded up in his room for weeks now, all over again, going back to his old state of self. It was safer if he wasn't in society around... people. People were idiots. He didn't like very many of them, and those he had always fallen attached to, wronged him, took advantage of his kindness, and kicked his heart in.

As one of the guards came in to check on him, and offer him 'food' which happened to be nothing more than a blood bag, Ery waved the guard off, refusing it for day five, which is how long it had been since he'd eaten anything at all, not even normal food. All he had done was sit up straight at his desk staring down to his journal, writing about things he didn't feel like talking to people with.

As the guard excused himself from Ery's room, Ery sighed to himself, clenching his hands into fists when the door made it's way open again. He didn't do tears around people, but since no one in the manor was giving him time, he stood and turned to face whoever it was with tears falling down his cheeks "Can you all just piss off?! we are not supposed to be seperated, so here I am, but I swear to god im gonna go as far out of this city as I can, stay there until I begin suffering unbareable pain, and die... for good.. get the f**k out of here!" he yelled and threw a throwing knife at them landing it just above her head.

For the first time in a long time, someone seen Ery, the Aspect of Death with tears streaming from his eyes. He was both pissed and ashamed to let people see him this way. He should have just kept to himself long ago, and not been anyone's protector, but the damage couldn't be undone, but he didn't want it to. Forgetting or pretending like pain wasn't complicating his life, would only numb him to what was real.

Tyminski - Gone began playing as his fingers played with the settings on his stereo system. He hated thinking about the blonde that had him in this new lashing out state, this wasn't him.. and it wasn't fair to anyone. especially those making frequent trips to his bedroom to check in on him. "I should have let her die, the very first night those ugly f***ing monsters attacked her" he began writing in his journal, not realizing how hard he was pressing on the ink pen, until ink busted all over his journal pages.

The song came on again, causing him to throw the busted pen at his stereo, sure he could have thrown something heavu enough to damage it, but he loved his music. Even if it did fit a situation to a T and made him hate himself just a little more. Erythreus could only think of one thing he could do at this point. There was a certain Celestial he had met a while back, and when he remembered her, he smiled. Though they vowed to keep their friendship a secret, he needed her right now more than ever, he was willing to risk exposing them to leave and find her.

Tugging his leather pants on, a black tank-top, and his leather jacket, before slipping into his grunge boots, Erythreus left, and left the music blaring. He took no time speeding out into the direction of Ophelia's home, that was written down, on an old, crinkled paper at this point, he could barely see the writing, but he was sure he was there when he looked above him and realized why she had picked this place. The stars littered the skies above this place, something he hadn't ever even seen where he stayed in the manor.

If Reus knew he was here, shit would have hit the fan, but for tonight, he didn't care. Ophelia was a great person, despite what his brother had said, or warned. Giving a light knock at the door, Erythreus called out, "Ophelia?!" he then stepped back, waiting for her to answer, if not one of her faction members. Someone had to be there from all the lights that were on inside.

Ophelia rarely slept in the night, much like the stereotype her kind received she was very much a night owl, she loved to explore the castle or wander outside the grounds, sometimes she would read or talk with her fellow celestials but for the most part she liked to be alone. Some would call her insane but she liked to sit and tilt her head up towards the sky and just talk, she didn't really know if any of the stars up there were listening or if they could even hear the words she spoke but it was sometimes the only thing keeping her sane when things were hard.

Right now things were good for her, so good that she had all but convinced herself that something was due to go horribly wrong, happiness was something too often short lived for her and the other celestials, she supposed that was inevitable when everyone wanted to kill you for the power you could offer them. It had been a full 6 months however and things were looking somewhat positive for the celestials in Evermore city, Ophelia had Mikael, even if she had to keep the fact they were together a secret from everyone.

The wayfinder had been wandering in the celestial castle gardens talking away to herself, mostly about her plans for the future for her faction, she knew that Aureus had her amulet on his person by now and she needed to find a way to get it back, something she could offer him that he couldn't refuse but everything she thought of turned out awfully as she played it out in her mind, she didn't know if there was reasoning with someone like him, someone who could turn and change their mind so easily on a whim.

Her thought process however had been severed when she heard her name being called from the front of the castle grounds. Her heart had sank into her chest for a moment in panic as realization set in of exactly who it was and she quickly turned and made her way in the general direction of where she would find Erythreus standing on their very porch. The brunette shook her head speaking in what could only be described as an agressive whisper "Are you insane?" she asked with raised brows.

"Do you even realize the storm you'll cause if any of them know you're here" Ophelia shook her head gently, he and her weren't supposed to be friends, they were supposed to be mortal enemies, at least that's what their factions expected them to be, the wayfinder however was never one for holding onto hatred, she knew that repairing and cementing a place in Evermore city meant getting along with the aspects and of all of them, Erythreus had to be the one she warmed to the most, perhaps even empathized with a little.

After shaking her head she got a good look at him and her gaze softened a little "It seems it's not a happy visit to say the least" she commented as she jerked her chin to lead him around into the gardens. Luckily for them no one had gone to answer the door and she knew a good path that lead off the castle grounds to somewhere that was a little more private. As much as Ophelia felt bad for not telling the other celestials about everything that was happening with her, she just didn't know how to reach them when it came to moving past the need for revenge. "Did something happen?" she asked in a soft tone as she looked back at him noting the way his expression seemed to be covering pain.

Erythreus let out a barely audiable sigh, chuckling some. "Do you even realize what kind of storm you'd cause if your stars find out the company and friends you keep?" he asked rather than answering her. "And you knew I was insane the day you met me, so asking me again is just asking me to confirm that... again" he smirked, flashing the Celestial a wink. After being led onto a path away from the castle Erythreus eyed her for a moment. "I'm not a fool Phe, Im sure i'd keep a fight at bay if one of your other stars had answered the door" he stated before she looked back over to him.

"It's not" he stated as he ran the palms of his hands over his face, where dark circles underlined his eyes. "I feel lost, and oddly the only person who brought a smile to my face at the thought of, was you." He sighed softly looking up, stars littered the skies, but on his way over he hadn't seen a single one. Were the stars hanging over the Celestial manor to keep watch over their fallen ones? HE didn't know but it was definitely beautiful. He only snapped back to her when she asked if something had happened. And at this point a couple things had. "Well it definitely concerns a blonde, then another one" he chuckled shaking his head, he would have seemed like the typical male whore without an explanation.

"The first one, a  Nephilim. I met her the night I staggered around in Vampire territory checking on my undead people. I saw this big ugly bastard ... monster like thing coming at her, I killed it. Then time went by of course and we go close to one another, closer than close, hell she even plunged a knife into my chest but I stuck around only for her to stab me again when she fell in love with my guard" He let out all in one breath, "Now this other one, she's the one i'm currently seeing, and things are going okay-ish, but she's stuck in her own little bubble of life, trying to pull her out is no easy task.. lets not forget you Phe, our friendship is the most dangerous thing either of us have probably ever done" he said truthfully, but it brought a warming smile to his face to know that she was a friend. "And what about you? surely you have something to share as well" he finished off, leaning his head on her shoulder with his arms crossed, letting his gaze wander back up to the sky.

Ophelia mock rolled her eyes and gave him a are you serious look for a brief moment “Of course I know that” she answered and shook her head a little, that wasn’t the point right now, she’d never have shown up at the Ailward manor looking for him and his level of carelessness could cause her some serious problems with her faction. As she lead him away from the castle she nodded softly in response to his words explaining where she stood “They just aren’t in the headspace where diplomacy is their top priority right now” she admitted with a half nod of her head, she knew it was going to get her in trouble down the line but she could risk a vengeance plot right now.

It was a weird friendship, considering that her and Erythreus by all accounts should be enemies but after knowing the aspects for the best part of a century, she had learned that not all of them were like Aureus, even if it did hurt her that no one had stood in the way when her people had been locked up. Her gaze however turned to that of concern as he spoke, she hated the idea of people suffering and she could see a level of pain in his eyes. A smile crossed her lips at his words and her eyes followed his up towards the sky “Well the stars have long been a map for finding your way after all” she answered with a gentle chuckle.

Ophelia laughed softly when he spoke of two blondes, she had already guessed it was likely about a woman, most of the aspects tended to feel burden from their element but she imagined that being one with death was something different entirely, life and death were inevitable, there was little even an aspect could do to control it. Listening to her story, Phe allowed a wry smile to cross her lips as they continued to walk through the gardens and into the woods that surrounded the celestial castle. “Well I suppose you should be thankful to see a little excitement” she teased with a half smirk and then followed it up “Give her time, even the supernatural need time to swallow the idea of being around a messenger from the Gods” her smirk faded as he spoke of their friendship. He had no idea of the level she had entangled herself up in. “Some things are worth taking risk for” she spoke honestly, both he and Mikael were good people and despite them standing on the other side of what could become a battlefield, she found herself unable to pull herself fully away.

As if he could read the very thoughts in her mind she swallowed for a moment “There’s someone” she answered with a half nod, she wasn’t going to say the name because she didn’t want anyone to have to lie on her behalf and also because she knew if backed into a corner, Ery would have no choice but to choose his family. “I struggle with letting anyone in after..” she trailed off with a half smile “Well you know” she was of course referring to her relationship with Venetus before she had been forced to go on the run for years in desperate search of a way to save her people. By now they had reached a clearing in the woods with a few rocks laying around. The celestial, slightly radiant from the emotions stirring around in her mind, took a seat on one of the rocks as she looked back at her friend “What I’d give for just a day where life didn’t feel like it was on the brink of war” she sighed gently as her head tipped up towards the sky once more.

As she gave a mocking eyeroll, Ery smirked. To her response, he sighed. It was only a matter of time before her Celestials found out that she was hiding something, and the Aliwards found the same within him. That day would be a day to be reckoned with for both him and Ophelia. The Aliward/Celestial war was over in his eyes, but he figured his siblings and the rest of his faction didn't really look at things that way.

All Erythreus had done for amusement was sit in his room brooding while the rest of everyone was busy bodies, buzzing around the Aliward mansion seeing to it that they had fufilled their duties each day, while Ery's duties could pretty much be done from anywhere, Keeping in contact with the dead didn't revolve a certain place or person, his staff tended to glow where the bright red crystal sat no matter where he was at when the dead needed tended to.

As Ophelia spoke on how her faction wasn't in the right headpsace in the headspace where diplomacy was their top priority he nodded because he understood that all to well. Aureus of all of the Aspects especially, though he felt Reus was hiding a major secret, being the people reader that Ery was."I don't think the Aliwards are either Phe, but if you feel as I do and that war is just within reach now, we both must know that we have to be on the right side of things, but that really don't settle well with me, as im not willing to face off with someone I care for, I gues when I say that I mean you. What happens to  us if war happens between our factions, because in the pit of my stomach, there's this really painful nauseating feeling, a feeling that I can't shake that makes me fearful of losing you"

Ery finished off his rant, noticing she'd followed his gaze up to the sky which was littered with stars beyond his comprehension. Erythreus had never seen the sky like that any place else, and thought it must be that the Celestials were right below it. Maybe it was those who hadn't fallen yet, looking over their own. As she then spoke of the stars being a way to find ones way. he smiled softly.  and with that his features also softened, somehow the Celestial before him made him forget all things bad. She was sent from heaven in more than the literal way, and had came into Erythreus's life just as he had figured alcohol was his only friend.

Ophelia had been the exception so long ago and now that Ery thought about it, he figured he'd only disappear when war came for their factions. His thoughts weren't clear on it and to think that way was basically to say he'd betray his own, but was it really betrayal? He sighed heavily but the smile crossing the Celestials lips who walked alongside him, through a beautiful garden under an insanely beautiful starlit sky, snapped him out of every bad thought he was currently having. "I guess you're right Phe. Is it odd to hear that even the Aspect of Death is scared of losing out on something as simple as love?" he questioned his friend, and even found it odd as it came out of his mouth.

Ery then found himself halting in his tracks. To see the look that crossed her features as he spoke of their friendship along with the comment that followed, he placing his hands on each of her shoulders smiling. "Ophelia, you're very much worth a risk to me too. I had no idea that you felt the same .. but Phe.. I don't wanna stand on opposite sides when shit hits the fan. And, whether we want it to or not, it will" he said sadly. Noticing the harsh swallow; Ery decided he'd not push it for now,  and true, while this may end up in a situation where Ery gets backed into a corner, he'd learn the professional skills of lying if it meant protecting Ophelia. Ery was not Reus and vise versa. Each had their own minds to think with and Ery's mind was obviously seperated from war all together.

As Ophelia continued to talk, Ery frowned. He knew that probably all Celestials was faced with exactly what she was dealing with now. Finding it impossible to trust or let anyone in. "I know Phe, I know" he statd in a much more gloomy tone than before. "I wish I could sit here with you and say it's gonna be okay, but will it ever?" he questioned already knowing the answer. As they then finally reach a clearning where a few boulder sized rocks laid around, Ery took a seat on the one right in front of her, only being inches away from the Celestial who was glowing to his visiblity by now. "Hey it's okay Phe" he stated before pulling a flask of his special brew out. A kind diviner had spelled the ingredients to give supernaturals a chance to be drunk and buzz like humans got to when they were drinking, since Supernaturals struggled to obtain that feeling themselves. "This may make you feel better" he stated. but it was only if she wanted it.

Hanging his head down to the mention of war, Ery sighed."We will never get that day though Phe, so we have to take moments like this, and wallow in them. What i'd give for just a promise though, a promise that no matter when or where war strikes, you and I do what we have to to keep this friendship" he finished off beofre taking a swig and holding it back out to her.

The headspace was tainted, that was the reason that no one was seeing straight, the celestials were angry for the way the Ailward had treated them and the Ailward were mourning the loss of their people on Skye. Ophelia wasn’t sure that any side was going to ever fully see clearly again, there was too much bad blood and it ran personal for nearly everyone involved. She pressed her lips together as she listened to his words, she worried as he did that they were going to end up on opposite sides of a war they didn’t want to fight. “I’d never ask you to choose” she answered solemnly. “And I could never blame you for standing with your family either, I’m not blameless in what happened on Skye, I carry the guilt with me every day”.

Sure it was easier said than done not to blame someone for their actions, but how could she ever ask someone to turn against their family. Ophelia may not have family in the literal sense ut her people were everything to here and she couldn’t imagine ever turning her back on them, in fact her dedication to her people was most of the reason they were in this situation. The stars however helped to clear her mind and soothe her, sometimes she wondered if they had a consciousness up there, could they watch over what was happening on earth or were they simply balls of fire and ice.

Ophelia knew that making friends in the Ailward faction  was only ever going to lead to her own heartache, Aureus wasn’t the forgiving type and she knew exactly what his reaction would be if he found out his own brother was meeting with her behind his back. Ery of course could take care of himself she was sure, but she hated the idea of causing other people pain in any sense of the word. Upon his statement she shook her head gently “No, I think deep down even the supernatural have some level of humanity in them, we want the things we can’t have, we suffer from our own pride, we make irrational choices based upon emotional whims” she responded with her thoughts on the subject “Besides, living forever is more of a chore than a blessing if you have no reason to live it” she responded with a half nod.

Ophelia could agree with his sentiments, the last thing she wanted to do was hurt those whom she had come close to and people she cared about were unfortunately her weakness, it was why all those years away from the other Celestials had driven her to the kind of desperate decisions she made.”First, we do everything we can to prevent it” she responded more reassuring herself than she was him “I think there may be enough aspects willing to listen to reason” though she had to admit the very last person she ever wanted to talk to was Venetus, he was generally the kind of man who would hear others out.

And then the not so negative part “And if it cannot be prevented, then we do what we have to and we allow the Gods to decide our fate” she was probably not on the best side of the Gods after what she had caused but she had to believe that their existence meant there was some kind of plan in the universe, some meaning. His question caused a shake of her head as they entered the clearing “Doubtful” she answered, the Ailwards and the Celestials would never be allies again, she knew that much for sure.

It was a terrifying existence living knowing that the next day might be your last but it wasn’t anything new to the wayfinder either, being a celestial came with a target painted above your head for life and so she had adjusted years ago to the survival instincts which constantly flared up. Eyeing the flask he had pulled out she looked curious before he took a swig of it. Ophelia had never been a massive alcohol drinker, mostly because celestials had to drink a lot to be able to get drunk but she supposed she could make an exception today. Curling her fingers around the flask she took it from him with a smile before tipping back a mouthful.

Pulling a face in response to the sheer strength of the liquor she passed it back to him with a ‘thanks’ that more said why the hell would you want to drink that in tone than thank you for the drink. The wayfinder allowed a gentle smile to tug at her lips “I promise I will do everything in my power to fight for the people I care for” she gave him a look that questioned if that was enough before following it up “That includes you, by the way” she chuckled softly.

Listening to Ophelia's words about the mishaps between their kind's caused his features to soften from their normal serious - brooding ones. Erytrheus knew as well as the fall-star beside of him, that no one would ever fully have closure again or see things clearly; Things would probably never go to a place where they could all consider life to be normal and co-exist the way they were meant to, but both factions had lost equally in his eyes and Ery knew the silence looming between the factions was the calm before the storm.

Inhaling, Ery stepped over in front of Ophelia, placing a hand on her shoulder. "We could very well write history by doing the exact opposite of what everyone is going to expect when shit hits the fan" he admitted, a warming smile creeping onto his features. Ery didn't know how it would affect his relationship with the other Aspects if he decided to see this whole thing twith a mind of his own. He thought that's how everyone should be looking at the problems looming between both species. But, there was only one way that most of them thought and that was to hate each other, to get revenge. Ery didn't want that, not when it would jepordise his friendship with Ophelia, or cause anymore harm to the Aspects.

To avoid invasion of her personal space, the Aspect of Death let his hand fall back to his side, backing up a little before gazing up to the stars. To know Ophelia still carried grief and guilt around with her everywhere she went, had saddened the Aspect. Of course as the leader of her kind, and the one who most of the blame seemed to fall on, she had rights to carry guilt, sorrow and whatever else. But despite everything, Erythreus didn't want her to beat herself up, not with him at least. "It's okay to feel like that Phe. People don't realize it but even I feel sorrow sometimes for things that have happened. I would turn back and change my part in all of it if I could. The choice we make now, what we do when things get rough, is what will define us though" he stated, snapping out of thought and returning back to the present moment to the sound of her voice,

Ophelia carried a lot of guilt for things she'd not even done, or choices that'd been made that shouldn't even be considered bad choices. Their friendship for example. He knew well enough that Phe held some sort of sadness to think if they'd ever been found out, their secret meet-ups and the friendship they'd acquired it would cause others pain. But, he couldn't see the friendship as a mistake, the only mistake he truly seen in this is that people were losing their way. Thinking for ones self, and being able to make your own decisions made a person who they truly were, if their choices were taken away, or even frowned upon, it would cause utter heartbreak for all. Ery being here with her tonight was him proving to himself that he could bury the past, even if he still carried some of it around on his shoulders.

Nodding, he couldn't have agreed more. Even being an immortal creature, you still had the normal moments of your life, "humanity, and all of it's baggage" he then said, chuckling. But, even Ery suffered from heartbreak due to the mundane feeling of betrayal from a woman, or feeling rejected when he didn't fit in sometimes, feeling sadness and emotions beyond comprehension, all of which screamed the word humanity. The Aspect of Death clung onto his humanity like an infant would their first teddy, he never fully understood why he feared losing it and the ability to care, but it probably came with being the Aspect of Death .. and well, dying more than once. His first death only woke him back up as a Vampire, he could recall that violent ending like it was yesterday.

Ery's smile had suddenly turned to a half frown, wondering if what she'd just said was something she was feeling. "Do you feel like that Phe, like you've nothing to live for?" he questioned, feeling as though she sometimes carried to much weight on her, and it only made him feel closer to her."I know you have your people, you obviously have me .." he stopped, smirking for a moment before going back to his statement "But I know that even having your faction, and a close friend here and there, can at times not be enough... I guess ive felt that way a time or two myself... but since we do however have to keep on keeping on, how about we agree to do it together?" he questioned, hoping he wasn't coming off to forward, only wanting to be the friend he felt like she'd been to him. "More or less, i'm saying i'm here for you, and hav a little room on my shoulders to carry some of that weight thats holding you down"

If he was honest with himself, yes this friendship had been difficult to have without being caught, never getting to walk around in broad daylight or a stroll through the city, not getting to do normal things that friends got to do, but he didn't mind staying in the shadows if it meant keeping someone he felt close to. As she began speaking again, that same warming smile returned to his features. To say the least, Ophelia had her head in the right place with all of this, and even with knowing she had to put on a fake front sometimes to remain strong, but in his eyes she done it well. "Idon't pry much with my brothers; but I know there are certain ones you'd rather not deal with at all. Not sure how I got the luck, to be your friend out of the rest however.." he paused chuckling for a moment. "I'm a buzzkilling, socially challeneged brooder, but you've always seemed to get me" he then added, flashing a wink to the fallen-star.

"Im sure our fate has done been decided, it's the not knowing, that really sucks" he said in referrance to her statement about the gods deciding their fate once more. Ery fell silent for a moment or two as the entered the clearing, which seemed to have a blanket of stars dangling over it, not able to help himself from feeling captivated by the sight of it. It was truly beautiful out here, he admired beauty when he seen it. "I promise to do the same Phe, as if ive not been mushy enough; i'm sure ive made it clear where you stand with me. You've been a great friend to me and I really don't want their to be a time where that has to change, if only we could all just fight together, fighting for peace is much better than to fight for one factions end" he stated, figuring he should stop with the negative and brighten the mood some.

The clearing had been a place Ery had seen more than anything when he was with Ophelia, simply because in order to enjoy their friendship, they had to have a secluded place where no one would find or see them, and a while back he had started bringing his guitar with him, it wasn't like they could go to a bar or a club together, or anywhere to eat, so Erythreus had began singing, and doing whatever he could to make the most of their time, but to also make it as normal as possible considering all things. From behind the tree he seen his guitar still propped up against it, minor damage due to rain and stormy nights but it was still playable, and with that, Ery tugged her around the tree where boulder sized rocks were for her to sit on one and he on the other ; directly across from her. After finding himself in a comfort zone, he began strumming; singing what came to mind.

And somehow, the words fit. Ocassionaly making eye contact with the Celestial his features formed a smile through singing.Just a small gesture of kindness, or normality, whatever Ophelia would see it as, but by now he was sure she was used to his social awkwardness.

Feeling his hand on her shoulder the wayfinder tipped her head to the side to look up at him a half smile crossing her lips as she listened to his words “I think we’re rewriting history simply by being friends” she answered with a laugh, she hated the fact that she had to hide so much from the celestials but she didn’t know how to make them to see the dangers their thoughts of revenge brought. Ophelia liked that way of thinking, after all there was nothing you could really do to change the past decisions you made, all you could do was live with them, learn from them and never make the same mistake again. “Should I be concerned that such a choice is imminent?” she raised her brows for a moment, she didn’t like to ask but part of her had to know too.

Sometimes Ophelia wondered if life would be easier for the supernatural if they weren’t all at least a degree human but then she was also reminded that humanity was what gave people that sliver of compassion which may be the only hope she had for getting through this particular clash without ending up dead. “Just don’t go around telling people the aspect of death has feelings eh?” she teased to brighten the conversation, she had seen up close just how deeply the aspects felt however, they were parts of the world after all, when the world was hurting so were they.

When he asked how she felt about immortality she fell quiet swallowing for a moment “Honestly?” she asked with raised brows before she followed up “There was a time in that 100 years without my people that I did” she answered a little ashamed of her lapse in will, of course it had returned to her but she still felt disappointed that it ever happened “But now everything had changed and I guess in a way I see the world in a different light” she nodded softly, she couldn’t really tell him about her and Mikael because she didn’t want to put him in the position where he needed to lie any further to his family. “I know that there’s things we can’t talk about but…” she trailed off with a gentle smile “I’m here too, whenever your blonde friend drives you off the end” she teased with a half laugh before her expression became more serious “Thanks” she added once more “It’s nice to know I have that option”.

Friends were a rarity for the wayfinder over the past few years, always being on the move meant tending to avoid getting attached to anyone because you would undoubtedly need to leave down the line. But the ones she did have she treasured the time she had with, knowing that things could be taken as quickly as they were given. Hearing about Ery’s brothers Ophelia had to stifle the urge to wince, of course he was talking about two particular ones, the one who was hellbent on seeing the downfall of her and her people and the other who had betrayed her in the worst way when she had needed him. “You’re rational and a realist, you call it like it is” she responded to his negative comments about himself pointing out what she liked about him and his company “It’s nice to be around someone who only sees you for who you are, behind being a leader or an enemy” she chuckled softly at his wink, she almost found it amusing that the literal embodiment of death had a sense of humor.

Ophelia hadn’t really believed in the Gods until she had met the aspects, they were undeniable proof however that they really did exist. Each one of them had been chosen because of the person they were to become leaders to bringing the world peace. Phe however couldn’t help but feel that mission was lost on the way for some of them. “I doubt this finality was what they had in mind for us” she mused wondering what point there could possibly be in sparking a war between their warriors and people whose very existence made them prey for every power hungry bastard in the world.

When he took out the guitar the wayfinder clasped her hands together happily, she loved it when he played music. Music was never something she’d managed to master herself and so she revelled in other people’s talent with it. Throughout the song her eyes moved between the sky and back to him and she thought about how lucky she was to be able to have moments like this. For all the negativity there was still bright highlights she could grasp with both hands. When the song came to a close and he set the guitar down the wayfinder gave a few pointed claps for his performance and smiled brightly.

After a moment she quietened down however, her expression becoming more serious “Ery” she spoke it a little hesitant not sure how he would take her question “What’s it like?” she asked before clarifying what she meant “The realm of the dead that is”.

A husky chuckle departed the giant Aspect's lips as Ophelia tipped her head to look up at him, words following her smile. She was right though, just them forming a friendship was history being re-written. "I think you're right. I have never liked living in the shadows, or hiding friendship, because well., i'm not one for friendship as you can see i'm pretty socially awkward, so when I do gain a friendship, I like to boast.  but you make it okay... being in the shadows and all" he expressed, with his socially awkwardness, the sentence that came from his mouth was probably awkward itsself. "That was meant to be a compliment" he stated, chuckling while shaking his head, amused at his own social skills.

"Concerned? about something ive said? No never" he teased, to make light of the situation, knowing most of the time when he spoke, it came with intense facial expression and concerning looks casted onto himself from whomever he was speaking to. Plus, it wasn't often the two of them could just 'hang' so when they did get the chance, Ery didn't wanna kill the mood with polotical stuff and stuff about the two factions that he had a gut feeling was just at the surface of a war. Snapping out of thought, Ery chuckled again, smirking at the Celstial. "Exactly, we cant be ruining my nicknames and my reputation of the biggest brooding alcoholic around" he said in response, just as light heartedly as she had spoken.

Erythreus then nodded, when she asked 'honestly' to his question about immortality and then began listening intently. "As bad as it may sound, i'm happy to hear that, that ive not been the only one to go down a dark path with being immortal, wishing it could just be over with, because if I can't be normal, I have to be who I am now, and long ago, I wasn't to happy with that guy" he stated, referring to who he was, and who he is. "I guess ive grew a lot since then, only 1500 + years but yeah" the Aspect chuckled jokingly. After hearing what she'd said, Erythreus gazed at her for a moment, silently, but his expression probably spoke in volumes to what she'd said about seeing the world in a different light after many years of wishing for normality.

Now that she'd spoken and agreed that they couldn't talk about just anything, and stopped with a 'but', Ery found himself tilting his own head to the side this time, curiosity consuming him for a moment while he waited with anticipation for her to say whatever it was she was gonna say. What she said, definitely had caught Ery by surprise, although deep down, he knew she was there for him. It was a hard position but they'd both taken this position on and held no regret or shame for it and thats what friendship should be. Smiling, he nodded at her. "I'll always be here too Phe. Even when the sun refuses to rise for people like us, i'll still be here.. friends don't need to run away. It would be a pity to lose the bond we've created" he admitted truthfully, giving a whole-hearted smile.

Ery nodded again, as she thanked him. "No need to thank me.. it's what good friends are for" he stated, winking at the Wayfinder. But, part of him did really wonder who the lucky guy was, who was it that had the attention of Ophelia Dreyvalian? "All I can say is whoeveer mister lucky is, better treat you right. You may have your faults, but we all do, and despite your faults, you're pretty amazing" he said truthfully, clearning his throat as he felt the conversation had shifted into something emotional, and emotions were something Erythreus had a hard time with. Being the Aspect of Death though, made it impossible to go one day without feeling heartbreak. Frowning at the thought of those the dead people left behind to grieve wasn't a pleasant thought. Death was something Ery was literally a protector of, and in a way that sounded completely absurd. But, given the choice, he wouldn't be anything but what he is now.

The Aspect couldn't help but smirk, "Thank you for noticing. Out of me and all the others.. you nailed it" he stated, grinning from ear to ear. Not to say that Ven wasn't a realist, or that Reus wasn't a realist, they were, but in their own ways.. Ery was simply just a realist. Some of the things his brothers done were irrational, and down right awful. But normally he tended to not step in their way and judge their decisions. "Dont worry I find me funny too, being the actual embodiment of death, but also being compassionate caring and humorous is quite hillarious when you think about it" he stated, shaking his head, now more amused than ever.

"So do I Phe . So do I" Ery repeated when she said she doubted that this was what the God's had in mind for their finality. In fact Ery believed that it was meant to be so much more than this arrogant war of the species, Aspects were meant to bring peace to the supernatural, to those in existence period, but if they were indeed prime people in this war, how were they doing their duties properly? Waging war definitely wasn't the idea of peace, Ery just wished he knew more, wishing to know what was around the corner for both his kind and Ophelia's. But, it was all in the air and with their luck they would only find out when shit hit the fan.

Just like Ophelia, Ery seen the highlights even at the end of the darkest tunnels, moments like this he himself was grateful for and cherished each one. Somehow between all the relationship quarrels in his life, and his duties of being an Aspect, Ophelia was one of the biggest highlights to all of it. But, for now he'd keep that one small thing to himself, or would he? Ery didn't want it to be to late before Ophelia knew how special she and her friendship was to him. Perhaps she had an idea of what she meant to Ery, but still, he wanted to say it before anything happened and the two of them were forced to react.

All bright and optimistic moments had their ending however, and this one had ended when Ophelia finally asked a question he'd been dodging. It was almost unexplainable, but she was his closest and dearest friend, so he figured he owed it to her to at least try to fill her satisfation with an answer. "Well..." he said, pausing for a moment to gaze above them at the blanket of stars settled in the sky. "The realm of the dead, for me at least, is very much like the here and now. I feel like I have a foot on each side, and that both sides pull me in opposite directions most of the time, so that's where the alcohol comes in" he admitted, telling her something no one else knew, not even his gorgeous blonde doctor lady.  A hint of a smile crossed his features though, to know he could open up this much to Phe felt fantastic. He didn't talk to anyone about this stuff and to finally do so, made him feel like he could breathe again.

Ery's features then turned serious as well however before speaking again. "The aspect of death is able to reach out to and speak to the dead, the dead appear as a smokey presence between the two realms, which like i said feels like i have a foot on each side of, and when I speak to them, sometimes it's heartbreaking, the way they died, the fact that they are so young (those who passed at young ages, especially children.. ) I--" he cut off after a lump formed in his throat. Instead of letting this moment turn into one that would most likely make tears form in his eyes, he decided to turn it around into something positive. "some of them can be very cocky, even the dead have attitudes" he chuckled, but it was true. "And then there's the fact that when someone's being resurrected, I guide them back to their bodies. To this day, i'm confused about where they would be if Ididn't guide them back. It feels like guiding an elderly person with dimensia back to a home for the elderly kinda thing, ya know?" he asked, but immediately chuckled at how foolish the last part of that sounded.

"Sorry you know better than most, that my way of speaking isn't the greatest, and sometimes i tend to put my foot in my mouth" he then said grinning, feeling heat rise to his cheeks, his face covered in a blush now, also another thing he never did around other people. With a raised brow though, Ery was curious too and couldn't help but feed his curiosity. "What about you Phe? What's it like to be the leader of the fallen stars? I mean a fallen star it's self has always been amazing to me, what was it like the day you.. fell?" he asked, strumming the strings on the guitar at a low volume while he waited for her to answer. He couldn't even begin to imagine how Celestials had all felt the day they hit earth, what it must have been like to wake up in some hole, naked, alone, probably afraid and cold, and found by random people who turned out to be their family in the end.

Ophelia laughed nodding her head softly at his sentiment, she knew what he meant even if it sounded a little strange out loud “Your siblings seem to be making a habit of visiting me lately, part of me wonders if they want peace as much as I do” she admitted as she raised her lips into a half smile, it was hard for her to let go of the anger she felt every time she thought about what happened but she imagined a lot of them felt the same way too, angry about the decisions made. “Maybe one day we’ll find ourselves in a different situation entirely” she was optimistic anyway, if Aureus could turn a page perhaps her people could too.

Ophelia laughed at his teasing, he had a way of turning around the darker topics and making them feel further away, she guessed that was a friend’s job right? To make you feel better when times felt at their worst. Ophelia raised her brows a little surprised at his next words “You have a reputation?” she teased with a smirk “I thought you were an actual ray of sunshine” her tone was heavily sarcastic, she was pretty sure most people who didn’t really know him were a little scared of him and the abilities he possessed.

“I think the thought crosses most people’s mind, immortal or not” she commented with a gentle shrug, who hadn’t had those dark thoughts about wanting things to stop, thinking about what impression you might have left on the world if that day was your last “We just have a lot longer to ponder over” she bit gently on her lip, there were times when being immortal was painful, lonely and heartbreaking but there were also countless bright and beautiful memories too.

It was nice to think about the idea of someone having your back regardless of the things you’d done, or the influences you both had to stand by. Ophelia would never ask an aspect to stand against the others, it felt wrong even thinking about it. Same as she would never turn her back on the Celestials for anyone or anything. “Well there’s no backing out now” she admitted with a chuckle “When I decided to come to Evermore it was to find a home so...I’ll be here for as long as I can” she couldn’t guarantee she wouldn’t need to go on the run again one day but right now things were in a good place, or as good as they could be.

Of course he had caught onto what she meant, Ery had always had this way of reading into her words that she couldn’t explain. She simply shrugged, she didn’t want to say too much about it because she knew how much danger they would both be in had any of the aspects known. She raised her hand pressing against her cheeks a little embarrassed by what he said “You have nothing to worry about there” she answered candidly, in fact she felt like Mikael was too good for her most of the time, how much she wished she could go back in time to change how everything had played out by then, perhaps she could have saved herself so much heartache.

Ophelia laughed “I think it’d be too stereotypical if all of you were exactly like your elements, sometimes you have to be the opposite to truly understand it” she didn’t know if that made sense but she didn’t think for example, someone could always be like, same as the aspect of death couldn’t always give the impression he was dead inside. “At the end of the day, you were all something else before you were an aspect and that part doesn’t just” she raised her hands to make a ‘poof’ action.

Ophelia wasn’t going to pretend she knew much about the Gods, hell she wasn’t sure she even believed in them before she had met the aspects but there was no denying their work once you knew the Ailward family. “Sometimes I just have to question why” naturally her eyes travelled upwards towards the sky, why would they allow the stars to fall and why were they so vulnerable when they did? There were so many questions she didn’t have answers for.

Ophelia listened quietly as he explained it all, thinking about what it must be like to be able to see the other side of the world, to be able to communicate with the dead. Did he even know the difference between the two places? Was it sad to see all of the pain that people must have gone through to end up there? Were they at peace once they crossed over? Her questions were slowly answered as he talked, her expression showing fascination as she thought about what it must be like for him. Ophelia wasn’t even sure someone could have a real life of their own with such responsibility under them. “Sounds so much more complicated than I even thought about” she commented with an understanding nod.

“I think it’s really interesting, almost unimaginable for someone who’s never seen it themselves though” she admitted with a gentle laugh, she found some comfort in knowing there was somewhere to go when you died though, at least those she had lost perhaps found some peace in the realm of the dead, or at least she hoped they did. The wayfinder nodded at his question about being the wayfinder “I honestly wish that I could remember my life before the moment I fell, wish I could remember the things they told me and the person I was up there” she shrugged, that wasn’t the way things worked however.

“It started cold, like I was frozen in a block of ice and as I moved I felt the chill start to fade, the faster I moved, the warmer I felt until my whole body felt like it was on fire. It hurt and I wanted to scream from the pain but nothing came from my lips and before I knew it, I hit the ground” she paused “Everything went dark after that” falling from the sky wasn’t as glamorous as a lot of people made it out to be, that was for sure “When I woke up I couldn’t remember anything, it felt like I was an alien on this planet, I could understand the language and how to do basic things but I had no idea how” she sighed touching her hand to her chest where her amulet laid when she first fell.

“All I had from my home above was my amulet” which Aureus had taken from her and was now holding hostage. She was still furious at him for that. “It took me a long time to even get my name back and even longer to figure out what and who I was” she had always hated the fact her people fell with no knowledge of themselves, it made them so much more vulnerable than she ever wanted.

Ery furrowed his brows, for a moment he couldn't help but ponder the thought of what she said. "I think I know which siblings those are, and perhaps they do, but either way, be careful. I love my siblings, but it's a fragile situation between our kind and your kind.. but we can definitely hope that peace is what they want. I know it's what I want" he admitted, but it was more of a dream than anything. Surely this wouldn't end in peace, Ery knew the Celestials if not all, at least some of them wanted revenge

Erytrheus nodded, he was just as hopeful as Ophelia was. "Perhaps we will. That will be a day worth celebrating" he mused, chuckling lightly. But he did hope that one day both species would wake up, and everything be different, not that he expected things to change over night, just that he expected things to change at some point, they were all immortal, he couldn't imagine an eternity of war with them. Just as Ophelia thought about him, he felt just the same about her, she definitely had a knack for making all the darker things seem further away than they really were, he couldn't help but laugh when she stated she though he was an actual ray of sunshine, obviously teasing him. But that was something he did enjoy a whole lot about Ophelia, people tended to steer clear of the Aspect of Death, afraid of him and what he could do, while Ophelia had grown to see him as an actual person and treated him as such.

"Oh I totally am just one huge ray of sunshine, I may just glow brighter than you star girl" the giant Aspect flashed a wink towards his Celestial friend; teasing her about the fact that she literally could shine pretty bright. A fallen star, it was still something Ery found to be pretty amazing, but he didn't comment much about it, it would be the same if people constantly made remarks about him having a connection to the dead, being death literally, which would have caused some pretty awkward conversations for him at least.

"You're definitely right, immortal or not, i think all being have the same kind of thoughts from time to time, especially wondering if it was our last day, what kind of mark we would leave upon others. It haunts me sometimes wondering what i'd be doing with my life if I had remained only a Vampire, with my personality, thats a pretty dark and scary thought" He stated, grimacing as he looked to the ground but snapped out of those rthoughts quickly to avoid his train of thought from completely being derailed by the evil bastards who threw him off that cliff to his death the day he was turned into a Vampire.

Ery gazed back up to the wayfinder, smiling faintly. "Im happy that it does feel like home though, with everything thats going on, that is certainly one of few things we can count as a blessing, that this place has been made our home. No matter whats going on, or what may go on in the near future, at least we have that for now" he stated, happily. Ery was pretty humble hearted about most things, and he himself could have never stood against his own for another species, but it didn't mean he wouldn't protect a friend when he saw it fit to do so.

A rather satisfying smile tugged at his features when Ophelia said he had no worries there, "Well good, because i'd hate to see anyone hurt you, but it seems like you're happy with that part of your life" he stated, not able to help but think about Serena for a brief moment, she was definitely a hard nut to crack, and her way of reminding things between them was for them both to set each other up on blind dates, Ery had no idea how that would help them but it's what she wanted, if thats how she planned on giving Ery a second chance, then he was going to do whatever it took. Grimacing as he looked to the ground, Ery only gazed back to the Celestial as she expressed exactly how things truly were. Aspects were all something different before they were an Aspect, and for once Erythreus was happy someone didn't describe him as death just because its what he was an Aspect of.

"It's nice that someone truly understands it, even if you're not an Aspect, you described it better than ive ever understood it, and it kind of just gave me some peace about who, and what I am, so thanks for that Phe" As Ophelia then looked upward and spoke, Ery frowned, he knew it must have been hard on those who fell, they fell not knowing anything, and she must have had tons of questions which would never be answered, and that alone seemed pretty miserable. "I'm sorry Phe, I wish I could answer those questions, but even I wonder why sometimes. There's so many people in the world, I cant help but ask why I was chosen to be the Aspect of Death, why life panned out the way it did for me too" he stated, his expression still a sad one as he began to ponder those thoughts a little to much.

After Ery had explained what it was like being the Aspect of Death, he was then able to turn his frown into a faint smile, to see the fascination on Ophelia's features. She seemed as fascinated as he did when it came to the Celestials. "It is indeed way more complicated than a person can put into thought he then responded, sometimes Ery really didn't know the difference between the underworld and the living world. Then as Ophelia began to explain how it was during the fall, and when she first woke up on earth, Ery's head began spinning. "Wow to say you can't imagine, I know my explanation of being the Aspect of Death sounded pretty crazy, but what you've been through sounds so much more complicated. But, you've made it this far, your people are lucky to have you, you just have to see yourself how others do, how your people do, how I do. We have all made mistakes, none of us are perfect, the fact that you're trying to keep building for yourself and your people is what makes you damn near close to being perfect though"

Erythreus gazed to where Ophelia placed her hand, which rested on her chest as she explained an amulet that once hung there, that it was the only thing she'd had left from where she'd fallen from. "Where's your amulet now? I can tell it meant a lot to you" he said in a saddened tone, his features seeming even more sad. Erythreus loved Ophelia and he cherished their friendship, and despite the fact that typically, he would cross the line, he respected the boundries when it came to her. She was beautiful, smart, a little broken, and one of the most comitted people he'd ever met. The Aspect feared for them both and what possibly lied ahead. Just as he was ready to comment on just that, Erythreus silenced himself, and tensed up all at the same time to the sounds of twigs and leaves crunching underneath the footsteps of someone who was not Ophelia nor Erythreus. His deepest fear was that one of the Celestials had seen them, and was ready to approach "Who is that Phe?" Ery whispered, knowing that if it was one of her own, that this could turn bad pretty quicky.

Erythreus being the irrational person that he was stood in a defence stance, that way if he ended up being attacked, he would be ready for it. But truth be told, Erythreus would never be ready for something to go wrong due to his and Ophelia's friendship. It pissed him off enough that they had to hide something so innocent, but to struggle with even hiding it, made him livid.

Ophelia nodded softly, she didn’t need anyone to tell her quite how delicate all of this was, especially because she hadn’t been there and therefore couldn’t forgive what happened on anyone’s behalf. What she could do however, was search for the ways she could protect them, allow them to move past this and find their own lives again “Me too” she echoed with a nod. “I have to keep an optimistic mind because letting in the darker thoughts about what might happen is just...too much to handle” she admitted with a soft sigh, there was still every hope this could turn out for the better and she had to hold onto that.

A laugh bubbled through her as he returned her teasing, anyone who knew Ery knew he was probably the least like sunshine of all the aspects but he had his moments of brightness “You’re welcome to try” she responded with a chuckle, he couldn’t pull it off, he was too good at brooding for that. Ophelia was glad she wasn’t the only one who wondered about her mark on the world, she often thought about how if this was her last day, would the things she had done matter? Or would she be seen as the wayfinder who brought nothing but pain to her kind? She hoped she had done some good with her life so far but she never really knew for sure.

Ophelia scrunched up her nose “I can picture you as a vampire but then I can’t at all” she laughed knowing that made no sense at all “Like you have that kind of personality but I’m so used to seeing you as an aspect that you being anything else feels strange to me” but then she hadn’t known him a long time ago, she imagined he was quite a different person then, the same way she had been completely different when she first fell “Somehow I think things turned out for the better for you though” she imagined Ven had saved him the way he seemed to save a lot of people.

Home was such a strange word to Ophelia because she never really felt like she had one before, she had always been a visitor or a traveller, always moving from place to place and face to face. Before Skye she had never really stayed somewhere longer than a couple of years. Evermore however was a chance to find a true home and that felt unfamiliar to her, even scary to think about. She did hope that her people could find some happiness here once she managed to achieve signatures on the peace treaty “Home” she spoke softly “I don’t think I’ve ever truly understood that word.

“People would have to try very hard to hurt me nowadays” she answered honestly with a half shrug, after being completely betrayed by Venetus she had come to expect the worst most of the time. Mikael was different though, she didn’t know how to explain it but she knew he was, he was the kind of person who would put others before anything he wanted, much like her in that sense. As she looked up at the sky she heard his words of sympathy, she allowed a wistful smile to take over her expression “I don’t think it’s our place to know those answers Ery, we can keep asking why but eventually we have to accept our reality and move forward” she had made her peace with what she was and where her duties laid a long time ago “It would have been nice to know though.”

Hearing about the lives of other people had always been interesting to Ophelia, it was the reason she liked reading autobiographies, people were incredibly complex and went through so many different things, she was fascinated by it all. Add onto that people who were supernatural and things got even more complicated, she couldn’t even fathom what it would be like to be an aspect, to serve the world over everything else, she wasn’t sure anyone who wasn’t one could truly understand. “Isn’t it amazing, how there are so many people in this world and every life is so very different, no two people are ever the same, their lives carve a path brand new every time”.

Her description of falling was all her own, there had been others of her kind who never even felt the fall but there was always one thing in common, they awoke confused and like a stranger to a world they didn’t know yet. “It doesn’t feel complicated to me but I guess that’s the difference between an inside and outside perspective” she commented, she was sure to him that being the aspect of death was just a part of his life now, while to her it was something completely foreign to even imagine.

Ophelia didn’t even know how to describe her amulet other than to say it was like the physical representation of the heart beating in her chest, it was as much as part of her as was her own body. That was what made it hurt so much to know someone was holding it hostage from her. Ophelia frowned for a moment before she went to speak “The last I saw of it, I placed it into Ven’s hands” she admitted with a heavy sigh, what a mistake that had been. “I’m not enough of a fool to think Aureus would allow it to be left behind so, I believe he has it” and she’d pretty much crawled the earth looking for it so she was almost certain now. Their conversaion was however interrupted by the sound of a twig snapping in the distance. At first she froze, letting out a soft breath and training her eyes on the place where the sound had come from. Closing her eyes Ophelia moved to stand up, pausing time as she moved her way across the clearing. A bell like laugh overcame her as she realized who their secret watcher was.

Ophelia reached down to scoop the white ball of fluff in her arms and then allowed time to move again, stepping out between the trees holding the devious little cat “Looks like we have a secret admirer” she spoke softly as she moved back over towards the aspect setting down the animal between them. “We probably shouldn’t take the risk of someone seeing us though, coming to the castle is reckless, you know that” she got the feeling their time this evening was coming to an end but overall it had felt good to talk, to air out some of the feelings she kept buried.

Erythreus nodded in agreement. It certainly was just to much to handle, for all of them, even those who put on a brave face and acted like they were made of steel. A faint smile parted the Aspect's lips, normally anytime he seen Ophelia smile or heard her laugh it brightened his day just a little more. "Challenge accepted" he teased playfully in response to her saying her could give it a try. He too often wondered if he left this world, would he leave on a good note with his own people. His conflicted relationships with other factions didn't make him feel as though he was betraying them, it's just that he was one of few to not look at someone for the mistakes they'd made, but for who they were trying to be now. Unfortunately, not many of his siblings seen it that way when it came to Celestial's.

Ery chuckled then as she tried to imagine him as a Vampire, "It is pretty strange to think about myself as just a Vampire. I'm certainly not saying that they don't have their work cut out for them just as much as Ailwards do, but it felt a lot more easier when I was JUST a Vampire" he explained, or tried to at least, most likely unclear with the words he chose like always with his socially awkward personality. "Seems like such a lifetime ago though" he shrugged, but frowned, realizing that Ophelia didn't have much memory of who she was before she fell, so Ery talking about the person he was before becoming an Ailward probably just rubbed it in her face a little more.

Hanging his head, Ery cleared his throat and rested his hands in his pockets. A faint smile adorned his features once more when she said she'd imagined things had turned out a lot better for him, and they had indeed. "You could definitely say that. Ven didn't just save me from all the supernatural mayhem, he kind of saved me from myself too. I was only just an animal of a man when he found me, a person without any humanity. Geez, I wonder what the hell happened to me?" he questioned, laughing out loud about how ironic it all was. Living with no humanity, to living as a hopeless romantic who cared deeply for people was just more irony than the Aspect could grasp onto.

Averting his gaze back up to the stars as Ophelia whispered out the word home, he couldn't imagine that she'd ever actually feel truly home no matter where she went. But maybe she found some solace just by knowing all she had to do was look up and she'd see the stars shining above, from where he assumed she felt 'home'. The stars continued shining, more brightly than Ery had ever noticed and a twinkle in his eyes reflected into those of the Wayfinder's. Ery nodded in agreement again, "You couldn't be more right, PhePhe" he stated in a playful tone "I'lll never need a shrink with you around, and I mean that in a good way. You always say the right things" he added, flashing a smile towards her before rolling his head side to side, sighing in relief as the bones in his neck popped a couple times.

"It's amazing for sure. I think about that sometimes myself, how there are so many people with a different story for each person, it's a bit much to think about to be honest.. sometimes I find myself lost in those sort of thoughts" he admitted, inhaling and sighing out a breath of air happily. Being around those that Erythreus actually considered a friend, which had only ever been one or two people at a time, was like coming up for fresh air, Especially hanging out with Ophelia.. she was someone he often found himself venting to about Serena, because he figured if he kept expressing himself to Serena directly, that it'd only run her away, meanwhile keeping it all bottled up kind of drove him to the brink of insanity and caused a drinking binge. He couldn't be nothing less than thankful for this friendship with Ophelia, even if it was kept in the shadows, hidden from those that the friendship may pose a threat to.

Erythreus had been standing there just smiling, and thinking, until her next set of words. It threw him off a little that Ven was who had her necklace, and Erythreus was sure he still had it. Knowing their history, and everything he'd learned about the two lately meant that Ven probably kept it just to make her hurt even more. "I-I um .. gosh, i'm realy sorry Phe, had I known, I wouldn't have glorified his name for saving me from the souless bastard that I used to be" Erythreus said, frowning as well, but he wasn't much for being this emotional, it'd only been lately that Ery proved to be just as emotional as females, something his siblings mocked him for, but on the other hand they were thankful for. The old Ery would have made Ven seem like a fairytale character, so emotions were good for Erythreus and something he didn't avoid after living for so long with no humanity at all.

"Plot twist, Reus has it?" he questioned, wide eyed. Normally, as a whole, the Aspects kept the other informed of most things. But, this was something that had exceeded Ery's knowledge. Perhaps if he'd spent more time with his face at their meetings rather than drowning in a bottle of booze, he would have known. "I'm sorry Phe." he stated, shifting from one foot to the next awkwardly especially while he waited to see who was intruding on their conversation. Even though, Ery was technically the intruder, and he could only smirk as she called him reckless. "I do know that, but it's been a hard couple of weeks, I needed some time to unwind with my favorite person and probably my only friend. At least the only one who can tolerate me more than an hour" he stated with a chuckle before averting his gaze to what she now held in her arms.

Shaking his head, Ery reach over and started petting the cat. "She's pretty. I love animals, probably something else people wouldn't assume about me" he shrugged before letting his hand bury back into his pocket. Giving the stars one final gaze, Ery looked to Ophelia one more time. "I really don't want this night to end. But, I know at the end of the day, it is pretty dangerous and foolish of me to come to this part of the city, we don't need a spotlight on us, and i'd be a bit more outnumbered than I could handle right now" he stated, chuckling playfully but trying to actually be safe about it by calling it a night and letting Ophelia go back inside to her people. "I know things are tense, and I also know that my loyalty only can extend so far when it comes to my people and my friendships elsewhere, I wouldn't do anything to make matters worse, but, you're my friend Phe, so if there's anything I can do to help you with that amulet, let me know" he finished off before flashing her a warming smile.

"We'll meet again soon" he stated before writing his number down with a pen he pulled from his back pocket onto the back of the receipt from the liquor store. "Call me, perhaps we can just discuss where to meet before we do this again, wouldn't want to make things bad for you with your people" he stated, and after handing the receipt to her with his number, Ery swung a masculine arm around her, hugging her for a brief second before trailing  away and making his way back to the manor.
