“Well this is interesting.” Anivia said aloud as she looked over to Rhydian before letting her eyes rest back on Ilyas as he was just brought back to the small village they had set up high in the mountains of Evermore. “You said he still thinks he is a Phoenix? But how?” she asked as she leaned her head to the side watching the man from afar as he walked around the tribe members eyeing them as if they were foreign to what he has known. “I mean I knew he was difficult to find after all being locked away so deep in the jungle was hard for our people to find him but still he had to know he was different.” She mused aloud as she watched him closely. The male was large and very much a brute which reminded her of  her brother Quilo who had died so long ago.

Maybe it was the way he reminded her of someone that had passed on that gave her the urge to help him as much as she could. Clearing her throat she moved from Rhydian side though she could hear his protest about her handling this on her own. She closed the space between her and the larger male before she leaned her head to the side looking up to him “How about we have a talk Ilyas.” She said as she placed a hand on his arm and motioned with her free one to her cabin that sat in the village. “I know you have many questions and I myself have plenty of questions. I think we could help each other out.” She offered a faint smile to him before moving towards her cabin.

As she open the cabin door her dark hues held his as he walked passed her inside, she moved to the living room area and then looked to the kitchen “are you hungry? Or would you like something to drink?” she asked as she moved sitting on the arm of her chair just in case he said he was. For a moment she watched him and then cleared her throat. “Well have a seat.” she said and waited for him to sit down before folding her hands together, her eyes studying him for a long moment. “My name is Anivia, I am like you, we are called Niveis a deviation of phoenix and initia alike.” She moved rolling up her sleeves showing him the tribal markings that swirled along her flesh. “I was born a Niveis but many in the tribe were turned into Niveis due to dying in ice, or water.” she watched him with her watchful gaze “How did you become a Niveis?” she asked softly. Some Niveis didn’t like sharing how they became what they were now.

Anivia had to admit Ilyas was something new to her, every Niveis outside of her village had been adapted to the new world. Her tribe had been thankful to have the help of the outsiders that wish to help the tribe. She looked to him as he asked for Ale, the one thing that ties many people together, the love of alcohol. Alcohol offered a burn that many of the turn niveis claim to remind them of the time before. She looked over the large male, he was much larger than most in their tribe. While Rhydian was rather tall he was not as tank like as Ilyas. Anivia had found herself staring far to long for her own good, studying his features as she tried to put together how he could have even died, he was strong and sturdy. It was becoming clear by the way he used short words to get his point across he didn’t speak english very well. Though Anivia was skilled in many languages from the outsiders that had come to the Island, she was not sure if she spoke his langage. “You are Niveis.”she simply stated again though she could tell deep down he knew he was no longer a phoenix.

“A the sea be a harsh mistress that has caused many phoenix to turn into a niveis.” She said as she followed behind him and opened a bottle of rum that had been gifted to her and poured him a glass sitting it in front of him before moving around the counter “Korsan Kadri? Is that the name of the man that murdered you at sea?” She tried her best to speak clearly giving long pauses for him to think about the words she said and give her an answer  “I feel so rude.” she said as it dawned on her “My name is Anivia.” she said softly and then held her hand out to him “May I ask what is your name?” she said softly as she leaned her head to the side, she could tell he was no one that that trusted easy. She closed her eyes and when she opened them again they burned a bright icy blue as she opened her psychic link she had been blessed with some how to the other Niveis. She leaned her head to the side as she read the swirl of emotions and a slight grin came to her face as she closed her eyes again letting the link disconnect.

“You care deeply for your family, you are unsure how to get back to them I can tell.” she said as she poured herself a glass of rum. “Though if you want something from the tribe I would prefer you ask for what you need, after all you are one of us. We help our own.” She said as she picked up the glass and raised it to her lips taking a sip from the glass and then answered his unasked question. “I am not sure it is being the chief our because I was the first pure born Niveis.” she gave a shrug her dark hues resting on the stone counter she had placed into her home, leaning on it softly “I can feel everyone of our kind and if I open myself to it I feel them and what affects them emotionally, what drives them.” She looked up to him with a slight admiration in her eyes. “For someone in a foreign land you would think you would be driven by fear and yet, you seem to leak an appreciation for the adventure while wishing to return home to see your family.” touching his glass frosting it along with her own “Is there any way I can help you?”

Anivia could feel the internal struggle the young looking man in front of her was having, though she doubt it was all due to what he had become in his final rebirth. She couldn’t help the small smile that played on her lips as he repeated back to her what she had said to him. “You know I have a feeling you will pick up on English in to time.” She gave him the glass only to find him wanting more rather quickly which she gave though limiting herself to one glass as she knew that there was already a language barrier. “How is your bond with the sea now that you are Niveis?” She tried to speak clearly even clasped her hands together as a motion for bond. Waving her hand as a no for more than the one drink she had already poured and was nursing. “Korsan.” she repeat the word that he spoke for Pirate. Her eyes watching as he explained how he was turned into a Niveis. “So Kadri your enemy and his crew, placed you in the sea till you rebirthed?” She tried to ask back slowly in hopes that she was making sense to him. She knew in that moment she was going to have to learn Turkish in order to keep up with the larger male in front of him.

She felt his larger hand take hold of hers as she smiled softly “Ilyas is a beautiful name.” She watched him take a step back from her she wondered if it was in slight fear that took over his welcoming smile as she showed that she was like him just a tad different because she had yet to run into another Niveis that could connect with the others psychically like she had. Yet his gaze stayed upon her face as he seem to be taking in the display she showed in hopes it would help him trust her a little more. She stood perfectly still as she let him watch her closely, as if to say she understood he needed that moment, hell she could feel the waves of emotions he was letting off even if he didn’t know it himself. Though maybe bringing up that she could feel it was to much for the large male in front of him. As he just looked shocked as she spoke of knowing he missed them. As he muttered out that her extra skill was witchcraft she only chuckled at him. “You know humans would say that about you also Ilyas. After all not everyone can wield Ice, nor your former element Fire.”

She tilted her head to the side letting her hair roll to the side as she hummed softly, “Just because you don’t understand what something is or a skill one has that you don’t doesn’t make it witchcraft. Well, unless you run into a Instar Diviner cause they are Witches of sorts.” She reached out and took his hand in hers placing her hand over his gently as she looked to how small her hand was in his “I do not wish to scare you easily.” she gave him the word she knew she was looking for. “I want to help you.” It was almost like it was ingrained in her to want to help those her where of her species, she felt like she was the only one who should be unhappy and lonely. “Then I shall do everything in my power to bring your family here to be with you Ilyas.” She said as she smiled at his expression that he wanted to learn Ice Magic. “And I will teach you everything I know but I do ask for one thing.” she let a snowflake form between their hands before pulling her hand back from his leaving the snowflake there. “Teach me Turkish and I will teach you English so I can better understand you. I speak many languages already I should be able to pick it up rather easily.” She smiled to him “Anlaştık mı? (deal?)”

Anivia gave a soft chuckle as she smiled back at him as he seemed to be feeling slightly more comfortable with her. She was patient in listening to him talk piecing together everything that he was saying. “Well if you learned English once, I have no doubts you can doing it again and quicker then the first time since you have a base for the language.” she remembered her first few lessons with her mother for many of the different languages she now knew. “Learned it for a girl?” she smiled softly not picturing the pirate to be one to fall in love with a girl enough to learn her language and then give it up because she had passed. “I am sorry you lost her Ilyas.” she said gently. She had known much lost herself and refused to let herself get close to another again. She feared losing someone far more than anything. The change of subject was for the both of them. “The draw to the water is a Niveis thing, along with a pirate thing.” she gave him a gentle smile. “Well we have a lake up here that is frozen over that we like to go to when we want to be in the water.” she said softly, “It's not the sea but it may help the heart sickness.” she touched his chest softly.

When the glass shattered in his hand she was there ready to take his hand yet it seem to calm the anger that had filled the Turkish man's chest. Though she grimaced as he whipped his bloody glass filled hand on his pants. She made a tsk sound with her tongue as she took his hand, her eyes turning blue as she used his blood to force the glass out and whipped his hand clean. She wrapped her kitchen towel to his hand, looking to him. “This Piç.” she repeated the word feeling dirty doing so. “Is he still alive?” she asked as she leaned herself on the counter behind her for a moment. As she kept the cloth to his hand for a long moment before pulling it back to see the wounds healing nicely. She tossed the rag in the sink to deal with later. She knew better than to tell Ilyas how to live his life, after all she had her angry outburst though they tended to be deep in the forest with no one around to watch her lose it.

“Yes poor humans.” she replied just as sarcastically. She had read the stories and seen many things first hand how humans destroyed one another along with many others with no pause. She took the moments she looked upon him to study his feature he truly had a unique look to him. She gave him a smile when she noticed that they both were studying the other like they had never seen another person before. While her hand held his in a manner to express that she was there for him. She could feel he was not used to someone being there for him in such away. She smiled softly as she nodded. “You deserve to find your family and be happy Ilyas.” she believed that it had something to do with more than he was one of them. As he touched the snowflake she made it spin and smiled as he agreed to the alliance. She nodded softly “Even if they are Phoenix, they are still your family.” She said softly with a smile. “They don’t have to change to have a place here. You are among friends.” she let the snowflake melt in his hand.

She didn’t drop his hand but rather pulled him to the door “Come with me.” she said as she knew the looks from the other tribe members as she was dragging the male who was much larger behind her. Though most of them knew her power so didn’t question it either. She dragged him through the small tree till they were at the frozen lake. She looked to him with a smirk as she moved onto the ice, the markings on her arms began to glow along with her eyes as the ice turned into water and she was standing there on it. She smiled as the snow that was falling danced around her.  “You don’t have to miss the water it is apart of you.” she said softly as her eyes stayed glowing blue.

Anivia remembered herself what that was like, falling for someone who didn’t speak your language pressing yourself to learn theirs. Just to be able to hold a conversation with them, and yet Caspian was still alive for her. Things were just different between them now then they were before. That was a whole separate can of worms though, one she didn’t wish to be thinking about in that moment. Her eyes focused on Ilyas as he hung his head, it was clear as it vibrated through her own chest how much pain the Niveis in front of her had been through, and how much he honestly didn’t wish to talk about it. “I’m sorry,” She spoke softly. “I know that things between Phoenixes and Initia never ended well. I will set a boat off for her, wishing her well in her eternal slumber.” Anivia meant it truly anyone who as able to find love among the chaos should never have to be ripped apart when it wasn’t ones choice.

Anivia knew the sooner she got to work learning turkish the easier it would be for Ilyas and herself. As the question what the word Frozen was she took a glass and placed water in it, touching it she turned the water to ice. “Frozen.” She stated hoping the demonstration was enough to explain what the word frozen was. “Valeria.” She repeated as she remembered the face, taking a moment to connect too. “Oh yes the Dhampir leader. She is lovely. Well the offer to stay here with the other Niveis still stands. I have a guest room if you like.” She pointed and then realized that she needed to slow down a little. “Your home is in the sea.” she gave him a soft nod that she understood. She wondered if the tie to the ocean had grown stronger after his final rebirth. She removed her hand after a moment as she was sure he didn’t want to be touched by her even if it was in a reassuring manner, he didn’t seem like the kind of man who just wanted to be touched by a stranger.

Anivia gave him a gentle smile, “you don’t have to thank me, I know how important family is.” She said as she let out a soft breath before her idea of taking him to the lake to let him connect with it. For someone who loved the sea, whos heart belonged to the sea it was the closest he was going to get in Evermore, since they were not a port city. She chuckled as he manage to have the word Woman remembered in english. Ilyas was actually much larger than most in the tribe, so the reason they were staring was due to what it looked like to have him dragged behind Anivia. Yet they all knew Anivia was a force to be reckoned with. Anivia turned the frozen top to mix with the water below her feet, keeping herself there as she moved closer to him. She knew the marks along her arms, along with the matching pattern down her spin and over her ankles were glowing ice blue. Her eyes glowing just as bright no longer the dark brown, she felt powerful in that moment being in such a large body of water.

“I have never known the burning of fire.” She admitted to him, “but I have known the bitter cold all my life..” She spoke as she moved in front of him, unzipping her jacket and tossing it on the ground beside him. “You love the sea. You love water just as much as fire.” She said as she let her blue wings come from the blue tattoos on her back. “Have you entered the water since your change? Fully?” she tilted her head to him, if she had been alone she most likely would have stripped naked it actually wasn’t uncommon for her to do that in the middle of nowhere to reconnect with her element. Since she wasn’t she just chose to slide off her shoes and throw them beside him. “You don’t know what you are missing while longing for something else.” She said as she lowered in the water and backed away from him turning, Diving underwater opening her wings fully underneath using them to guide her quickly under the water. Hoping he would take a leap of faith and join her, showing him he didn’t have to fear the thing that killed him.

(using a mermaid gif to kinda show what I picture in my head. obvi not a mermaid and there are no gifs of an underwater woman with wings)

Anivia kept the warm welcoming small on her lips, she gave a gentle shake of her head. “You don’t have to thank me.” She said as she truly didn’t believe that he needed too. If she was someone he cared about then she cared for them. Weather Ilyas believed it or not he was apart of her tribe and she cared deeply for those who where part of her tribe. As she managed to teach him what the word frozen was the Niveis felt proud of herself. As they spoke about living with Valeria she gave a chuckle at the fact that the Dhampir ambassador had a puppy he seem to enjoy as he had a warm smile now. She just nodded as he thanked her for the offer to take up the spare room she had. Their tribe was still building among the trees and snow on the mountain so there would be more than enough space for him and his family. Though she also knew she couldn’t force anyone to live with the tribe.

She only hoped that showing him the beauty of what she had created here in Evermore and the beauty of being a Niveis. Anivia had never known what it was like to be a Phoenix but she had heard their stories all her life. She knew disconnection from their fire element would have taken its toll on the Pirate. Yet the fact he hasn’t connected with ice was concerning for Anivia. She hoped if he connected with his new element it would help him feel more normal. Yet Anivia didn’t know his normal she just hoped that she could help him feel like less of an outsider. So as she took off under the water in hopes he would follow in she turned back to look at where he was. As she saw him coming into the water she turned around and made her way back to him.

As she moved to him under the water she took him in as he was shirtless now, she noted the tattoo on his left peck along with his Niveis mark on his side. She reached out and touched the Niveis mark on his side letting her glowing blue eyes hold on to him. She reached and raised her shirt up and revealed the Niveis mark around her navel to show him they were alike even more.  She touched one of his deeper scars softly before pulling her hand back, moving her wings to pull herself back slightly from him as she nodded her head for him to follow her. She wanted to take him to a place she loved that was deep in the lake, it actually ran into an underwater cave using her wings to move her through the water but keeping a pace to match his.

As the pair reached the underwater opening she looked to him and nodded her head again and swam into it. She swam through the short cave into an in cave lagoon that seemed to glow brightly among the dark cave walls. She broke the surface of the water and looked to him as he did so. She gave him a warm smile and looked around the cave. “I like to come here to think.” She said softly so the echo was low.

Watching Ilyas connect with the water feeling the clam that took hold of his aura was always the feeling Anivia was chasing herself. She enjoyed the rush she got psychically when an Niveis connected with their element again after a long time. Though he tensed under her touch which was something new to her. She worried he may fear her, but with the language barrier that they had and the fact she understood what he was and how to be what he was must cause some fear. She watched his confused eyes take in many things at once, she worried she was overwhelming him with information. So much worry she held as she truly wanted to help him in many ways but soon she felt the amazement twirling within him and smiled as he agreed to follow her deeper.

As they arrived at the cave she pushed her own dark locks pack from her face and smiled as he took in the cave. She moved towards the rocks that were there using her ability to lift her up and sat there on them, She looked at the soft glow the cave held and leaned her head back against the rock wall behind her. Raising her legs to wrap her arms around them as her gaze returned to the dark brow they where. Her markings that laced around her arms, ankles and spine fading with the glow that it held.  “Very beautiful indeed.” she agreed before she looked to him as he sat on the rocks beside her.

“Well for one my tribe is far to big. Many of us.” she held her hands out making the water dance as figures showing that not all of them would fit. Using her gifts.  “We need more space, and while the cave and water is beautiful. We can’t live our lives in it.” She then made a solo figure with a headdress on it. “And well I like having a place I don’t have to be chief.” She had the figure take off the head dress, and sit in the cave. “So many people look to me, it's nice to have a place to be alone.” She showed before letting the ice fall back to the water.

Though being a leader was a lonely life, she gave up on finding someone a long time ago. She did what was best for the tribe always, this was the one thing she did for herself so she didn’t lose her mind. “Though if you wish to live here, I won’t kick you out.” she teased looking to him and them hummed for a moment. “I think about if I am doing the right thing for my people. I think about life. Sometimes cry.” She chuckled at the last part with a sad smile and ran her fingers through her wet slick hair. “Only place I don’t have to keep my leader face on.” she shrugged lightly wondering if he understood anything she was saying.

Anivia gaze moved over him watching as he took in the dampness of the cave most would shy away from it and yet as a Niveis the cold, the damp where your home in a way. She never had the fire of a Phoenix to compare it to but she had heard from others there were similarities when it came to the comforting touch of the bitter cold like a burning blaze was for the firebird counterparts. She could spend days in the cave if she wasn’t needed to run the tribe but her few hours she got to sneak off were enough to ground herself again with her element and her thoughts. Such beauty should be impossible and yet here they were. Sitting among the glowing walls, the water licking against the rocks they were sitting upon.

Anivia looked to him as he had a big smile on his face and it was something she wished to keep there. The Pirate had a smile that could melt anyone, she wondered if he knew that. As she waited for him to translate the words she was speaking in his head. A smile came to her lips as he seemed to understand her point. Figuring the water figures helped with the understanding. She chuckled at his statement about family being needy. “I know that feeling.” She said back as she thought about Caspian for a moment. Their last encounter was not a pleasant one as yet again he asked for her hand and she said no again. She wished things could have been different, and while she had loved him once he was no longer the man she loved upon the isle. “Being leader can be hard.” she said as her gaze was on him but she wasn’t really looking at him as she was lost in her own memory.

“Humm?” she looked back to the water figure of her with the head dress removed. As his hand came to her chest where her heart was she looked back to him. Hearing the water figure fall back to the water waiting below. Who was she? Past a leader? She hadn’t ever thought about it, not in a long time at that point. “I…” she thought for a moment and then placed her hand to his chest for a moment. “I’m a healer, I’m a curious mind, I’m a mother, I am not sure I can tell you all who I am. You will have to learn that for yourself, if you stay around.” She said her words slow giving him time to process them as her eyes stayed with his before pulling her hand back.

“Well, you can feel free to visit my little hiding hole whenever you wish. For when your family is too needy.” she replied with a tease back as she looked to the water and smiled to it. “Do you think they could be happy here in Evermore? Do you think you could be happy here?” she asked as she didn’t look away from the water wondering how things would change for him once he was reconnected with his family.

Anivia dark eyes moved to him as he asked why it was hard for her to be a leader. That was a loaded question if she was being honest. She wasn’t sure how much would make sense. She looked back to the water raising it again. “My father didn’t want a female heir to run the tribe. Even though I was born first, I trained among the newly Niveis tribe but soon as my brothers where old enough for training I was sent to train as a healer. Even though many in the tribe said I was born to lead being the first born pure niveis.” She said as he gaze flicked to him and back to the water. A long time passed and my father started talking about war on the world after murdering my brother during practice for thinking different than him. The tribe not wanting that.” Her fingers wiggled making the water figures move. “The tribe was divided between those loyal to my father, those who were loyal to the idea of freedom and those who were loyal to my talks of peace.” she frowned softly. “My father thought it was my mother starting the mutiny and he dragged her to the center of our tribe and put a dagger through her heart. I lost myself and fought my father, and well daggered him in return. After that the fighting stopped and the Elders made me tribe chief. I title I wasn’t sure I ever wanted but I can’t let my people get hurt.” She sighed as she looked to the figure for a long moment with the chief headdress before settling the water back down.

“I have no doubts you are a good leader for your crew and family.” she gave a soft smile as she didn’t take it as offence she knew there were different kinds of leaders and one way is not better than the other. As her eyes focused on him as his hand touched her, her eyes focused on him. She wasn’t sure if it was the touch that had made her nervous or the fact she wasn’t sure she knew the answer to the question of who she actually was. She had a psychic link to all the Niveis that sometimes made her wonder if her own emotions where hers or not. Yet as she placed her hand on his chest in return they both seem to be lost in the simple act. “It's hard to know me.” she placed her own hand on her chest where his hand had rested. It was warm surprisingly enough. “I am not like other Niveis.” she said softly. Though the idea of him wanting her to learn who she was, was not a notion she was used to.

Anivia chuckled at his response as her gaze moved back to him as she rested it back on the rocks behind them. “I am sure you and your crew will have many women to choose from. Maybe I could teach them english also, help them step up their dating game.” she tried to picture a bunch of Ilyas around her home learning English at once. She smiled softly as he stated that it was better than a rainforest with no food. “You should stay and let me make you a welcome to Evermore dinner.” she said as she ran her hand through her hair pushing it back as it was drying.

Anivia eyes watched the water settle back into the pool there for a moment before hearing his words. She looked to him as he spoke the reassuring comment. He was a stranger to her and how she ran her tribe and yet his words hit something inside her chest. “Thank you, I hope to always stay that way.” She returned bowing her head in respect to him. “You have nothing to be sorry for.” She said reassuringly as she smiled to him. “I find that those we lead sometimes do not always agree with us on our viewpoint but you can’t make everyone happy.” She said with a soft annoyed sigh to herself. “No matter how hard you may try too.” She chuckled lightly as she took in his amused smile at his own statement. “I am sure they all respect you though at the end of the day. Just as I am sure my own tribe respects me and my peaceful driving ways.”

She felt like his eyes were burning into her soul for a moment as his fingertips touched her. She wasn’t sure why she felt a wave of nervousness and want run through her. She thought that part of her died a long time ago and yet she felt a warmth in her chest that she couldn’t place into words verbal. It was a longing that hadn’t been ached in years. As the tension lingered in their aura she was thankful for the moment the cold of the cave seem to shake her from it as he shook his own head. She wanted to focus on the link between them to know what he was feeling but she often tried to close that part out when she was around another niveis one on one because she wanted to be in the moment. Yet she could tell there was a conflicting moment but she wondered what the conflict was.

She let her eyes lingering on him for a moment before looking back to the water. “What if I am too different to be a good thing?” she asked back and then chuckled at his chuckle. “Well I would assume you would maybe like to settle down at some point or not spend all your money at a brothel.” She chuckled then looked to him for a moment as he spoke of how he wasn’t one to indulge in the brothel. She wondered why he wasn’t as their eyes held one another for a moment before his stomach growling made her smile. “Sounds like you are staying then.” She stood up and had the water raise walking on it as she lowered into the water. Ducking her head under she moved out of her hiding place swimming to the shore they had walked into the water from.

Standing there for a moment as she waited for him to exit the water she waved her hand having it freeze over again. “Remember it's our secret.” She said to him as she began the walk back to her cabin that was in front of them. Once inside she made him another glass of alcohol and got to work making a small feast knowing she was hungry herself. As she placed pork roast in the oven and turned to making the vegetables and mac n cheese she looked to him from the corner of her eye. “You said not your woman. Do you not enjoy brothels like your crew?” She asked as she put the water to a boil.

Why be a sheep. That statement was something that made her think for a moment. Was she wishing to be a sheep because she was so vastly different even from her birth? No one would know by looking at her. She was very strong,  probably knew skills that the other Niveis could dream of. “I guess you are right, though I have spent much of my life not being a sheep except for when my father forced me to.” she spoke as she looked away from him as she asked the question about why the brothel wasn’t for him. She listened to the life in a way that was much different than hers.

“Many brothels huh? So you know your way around a woman then?” she chuckled as she grazed her teeth along her bottom lip as she tossed in some seasonings before letting out a healthy laugh. “Please with that too old, you look so young any woman would gladly take you up on an offer for a night alone.” She used her powers to calm her skin at her words she was often never a bold one but in that moment something over took her so it was welcoming she couldn’t make it not show on her face. It was nice to be able to have someone she could share her secret getaway place. It was a place she was sure he would appreciate as much as she did.

She could feel his eyes on her back as she was cooking for them. It was nice to be able to make a meal for two people instead of one. It was kind of nice to have company for her, with someone who didn’t just see her as a leader. “Ah I understand.” she looked over her shoulder to where he was in the door frame for a moment before looking back to the pot. “It's been a long time for myself also. Since the night over 40 years ago when my daughter was conceived. Last time I well yeah.” She muttered as she then moved placing a lid on the pot. She moved to sit on the counter beside the cooking pots.

“Different priorities you say? I guess you mean finding your family correct?” She asked as she crossed her legs and watch him from where she sat. Her hands moving to clasp together on her legs. “Still doesn’t mean you can’t have some fun in between. What do you like to do for fun? I mean I don’t do much but paperwork but maybe you can help me pick up a hobby or two. Not to lose myself fully to work like I do often. If you want to help me out that is.” she gave him a soft smile as she looked to the pots for a moment then back to him, picking up her own glass and taking a sip from it.

Anivia gave a slight laugh as he called her father not a good man. “Yeah that is an understatement.” She muttered as she gave a light sigh. “He was made with power.” She said clearer. She herself knew what it was like to grow up with a bad father but a very loving mother and community around her so it wasn’t always bad. “I still had many good people in my life though. So I can’t overly say that I had the worst childhood. I had many who showed me the kindness my father never had.” She said and then she felt the angry energy surge in him. She raised her brow towards him for a moment. Until she understood it was more because he wanted her to see her full potential.  The closer he got and stood over her she raised her head back and spoke in a strong voice. “Doesn’t look like I have much of a choice do I?” She chuckled lightly before nodding her head. “I promise.” she countered back to him, “as long as you do.” She didn’t want him to lose his fire either.

She enjoyed the way his chuckles came from deep within him. It was something that felt like a rolling storm, it showed a strength to her in ways. As he moved to the table she raised her hand to push her hair back over her shoulder. She listened to him talk about how back then womens pleasure was rarely on the man's mind. It was such a strange topic for her to be talking about she was often considered a straight laced woman who didn’t talk of such things openly. Yet she didn’t mind it one bit. Her gaze flicked to him as he mentioned the pleasure house. “Yes Poison I hear it's run by a lovely woman.” She nodded and then felt really caught off guard when he asked her to go with her. She looked at him slightly wide-eyed. “I ah…” she couldn’t stop the blush that overtook her at that moment. “I have never done something like that. I mean I can’t say I am not curious to go check it out but I had never thought of doing that before.” She wasn’t opposed to the idea though if she was being honest. “You know what, maybe we could sometime.” She said as she chuckled a nervous laugh.

As she placed the glass to her lips looking over the food as it drew closer to being done she smiled softly as he spoke of things he like. Looking to her own home she helped build. “I like building things even though I need a lot of help to do so.” She chuckled for a moment and looked at him. “Have you thought of where you would like to build your home? You are more than welcome to place it among ours if you find yourself liking the tribe enough to be near them. Or maybe I can suggest a few places.” She said wanting nothing more to be helpful. As she thought about something physical the pair could take up as a hobby.  “How do you feel about boxing? Or martial arts?” She asked as she moved to pull the food out and started to make them plates. Moving over to the table once the plates were made and sat in front of him.

Anivia couldn’t help the smile that came to her face, she always enjoyed hearing that others had better connections with their fathers then she did her own. It made her feel like the world was not fully lost on her knowing that there were fathers out there that loved their children. It gave her hope that her daughter would find a man or woman like that to keep her happy. That was truly what she wanted out of this life was his daughter to be happy, that her people to be happy. Giving a soft chuckle at his reaction of her stating he was not allowed to be a sheep either. “Forgive me for even thinking you would be a sheep.” She tossed him a playful wink.

Though the slight hesitation that washed over was one from the fact it had been so long she had been with someone. Even more so a male suggestion to visit a brothel. Part of her wonder if she gave off the air of desperation and needed a good lay. “I would  go with you but I probably wouldn’t join in the activities though you are more than welcome to after all. I am sure in your big strong hands any woman would be perfectly safe.” She gave a nervous laugh and then drank more of the alcohol to shut herself up. She shook her head at him and laughed softly “Oh stop that eyebrow wiggles. You are going to make me change my mind.” She refilled her glass and offered the bottle to him.

Anivia gave a soft nod of her head as he shrugged at her question. “Well there are many woodlands in the town if you plan to stay here after finding your family. I do hope maybe you would let me help find something for you. When the time comes.” She smirked and looked around her home for a moment. “I built this all myself, so I think we could build something just as nice if you like.” It wasn’t a massive home but it had more bedrooms then most of the homes for visiting Niveis to have someplace to lay their heads.  Her head peaked up as she sat the plates down and she smirked softly. “I think running a boxing gym sounds like a lovely idea. Especially if you are one that likes to fight it will give you an outlet for that. Bringing in income at the same time. Any ideas for names if you open your own gym?” She asked as she took a bite from the food and sipped the alcoholic drink for a long moment. This had been the most she had drank in a long time, this day turned into one of fun surprisingly for her.
