She was dreaming. She was actually dreaming. Mirrors of her figments were sprawled and mixed in the whirlwind. Malva was actually experiencing a good sleep yesterday night, for once in her life, after a while. Despite only getting 4 hours of sleep, it was enough to give the Aspect of Magic all the rejuvenating traits she needed. Catching the glimpse of the crystal clear vial by her bedside, she took it into her hands and let out a sigh. "Well this is just..great." Shaking her head slightly, the brunette got out of her bed and made sure her bed was neat as it used to be the first time, before making her way to the bathroom. Malva rinsed her face a few times with the cold water and then stared at her reflection in the mirror. She didn't look like it, but she was sure, like her siblings, they were deprived. Of a lot of things. Sleep doesn't even began to cover it. When she found the vial standing idly by near her, she knew it was too good to be true to actually experience a good night's sleep like any normal person should.

Of course she brewed something up.

She's Malva. She's a witch. If she could offer slight comfort despite it being only a few hours or minutes long, so be it. She went back to her vanity table and unlocked the bottom drawer with telekinesis before getting a necklace out. It was a diamond necklace, a trinket she remembered Argent blessing a few centuries ago. The Aspect of Magic, like her two other sisters, both Aspect of Light and Darkness respectively, had a hobby on enchanting their jewelries. She clasped the necklace around her and regained her composure. She was wearing a lot of Argent's blessed items these days and also had a particular bracelet on her right hand that was used to keep any of her emotions surpressed and dialed down. She couldn't handle another breakdown, it's painful. She felt as if every being, living and non-living, were whispering to her. All the voices bothered her.

Unlocking the other extended room she had to put all her magical items assorted from grimoires and enchantments, she took one particular spell book about traditional magic, a form of magic she's practiced even before, when she was a Fae. She needed to reconnect with the nature itself, it's been way too long overdue. Tucking the book into her bag, she made a quick dash to her wardrobe and grabbed whatever was there before going downstairs. Her sanity pin was about to be revoked soon, and she needed another warranty. It's been a while since she had tried to make herself familiar with nature, she just didn't have the time and forgot about it altogether.

After a while of not transforming into her dragon form, she wanted to try it out again, just to see if she still had it in her. Exhaling the air, she bit her bottom lip and closed her eyes. "Here goes nothing." She willed for herself to be her dragon self and it worked. The next minute she saw herself soaring through the skies and was about to land in the meadow not far off from Dominic's place in the woods, until she basically forgot something and landed in a quite unnerving fashion. Reverting back to her Aspect self, she groaned out in pain as she laid on the ground, staring up to the sky. "Well ow. Thanks for the ride, Malva." The Aspect of Magic grumbled and was distinctly heard complaining to herself about the manner of flight she had earlier.  When she reverted back to her human self, she had tumbled down due to her steps and rolled down to hit a random rock there. So now she's bleeding.

Tensions in the house were high with everything that had happened with Siobhan, and he mother still living there made it almost impossible to breathe let alone figure out her own emotions lately. Siobhan found herself slipping away into the woods to the meadow her and Dominic spent a lot of time in when they first met. The meadow was lined with daisies. This place brought many great memories for the young Nephilim, and a few emotion ones but at the end of the day it would always be one of her favorite places.

It was the farthest from the cabin she wished to be lately. So that is where she was that chilly day with a drawing notebook in hand as she sat with her back pressed against a tree looking off to the field steadying her shaking hand to try and sketch out the field in front of her. Yet nothing was working she could seem to make her fingers move or make anything work. In the quiet her mind drifted to the darkest parts of that evening that ended with a bullet in her chest barely surviving if it wasn’t for the diviner Dominic had known she wouldn’t be here anymore.

Siobhan was not a stranger to tragedy it seemed that was her lot in life. She thought every day dark thoughts that she hoped nobody would ever truly know. She wondered if she had passed if everything would be easier for everyone around her in the long run. She pushed those thoughts away as she whipped away the tears that had started falling down her cheeks. She hated letting anyone see her sad and if Dominic heard her sobbing he would come looking for her. Closing her eyes taking a deep breath to calm herself. That calmness didn’t las though. The sound of crashing through the trees caused the young Nephilim to jump.

She was up on her feet her eyes swirling purple ready to hurt who ever landed in the meadow as lately she was always expecting the worst to happen. Her eyes looked to the aspect as she stood up talking to herself dusting off the dirt from her rough landing. Siobhan took a step closer towards her “Malva.” she said softly crossing her arms looking her over “Pretty sure you hit the ground harder than I ever have in this meadow, then again Dominic tended to get in the way not letting me hit it to hard.” she closed the space between her and the aspect. She had been to the manor enough to meet all the aspects, and a handful of guards. “I do like that you are giving yourself shit for the rough landing.” She chuckled as she then frowned taking hold of her. “You are bleeding.”

Siobhan looked over the wound and then moved helping her to her feet. “Come on let me get you patched up back at the cabin, then you can tell me what brings you to our neck of the woods. Got a mission for Dom?” she moved with the aspect slowly back to the cabin stopping short “I am going to take you to the garage to avoid my mother and our other unwanted house guest.” she chuckled as she moved her to the garage where a few bikes and the truck Dom drove mostly sat the bikes torn apart as she sat the aspect on the workbench finding the first aid kit and then returned to her cleaning her up. “So what brings you here magical aspect?” the young Nephilim asked.

She knew she should have never flew in the first place. It feels like she needed to retake flying lessons again, like there will be actual lessons given out on how to fly like a dragon. Rolling over after hitting her head against the rock that just so happened to be there at a very untimely moment, Malva was spurring out profanities in her native tongue, Russian. A habitual trait she does whenever she got mad, which is by the way, almost all the time. “I hate you rock.” she grumbled in pain as she literally just lie around, waiting for the sun to stop shining over her. It was blinding her bad, to the point where she needed to shield her eyes away using her hand. She would've gotten herself up rather than leaving herself lying around so out in the open, but Malva couldn't find the strength she needed to actually pull herself up.

“Gods, I hope I didn't break anything..” Not anything major, at least. A broken ankle would suffice. When she saw a fair haired female coming into her view, she squinted her eyes to see her clearly and once the sun went elsewhere, she was able to see her properly in her peripheral vision. “Hey, Sio.” she managed to get a small smile across her face despite the bad mood she is current under, simply because it was literally impossible to get mad at the angel child standing before her. Siobhan had a knack on making people soft for her, and it worked on Malva. So that was saying something. Her heart wasn't as cold as ice, but the way she acts? You'd be fooled.

When Sio helped her up to her feet, she could feel the sudden crunch in her bones and unfortunately, her words came to life. Briefly examining her left ankle, she facepalmed. “You've got to be kidding me. I didn't mean it when I said a broken ankle will suffice.” She really didn't want to drink nor consume anything from herself, even though her remedies resembled that of a healer. It works, but was it pleasant? Not a chance. You'd be lucky enough if you didn't throw up the first time. Following her remark about herself bleeding, she touched the wound on her forehead and winced slightly. “Yeah no shit. I think I felt that the first time I hit the rock, Sio.” she mumbled sarcastically.

Limping her way back to the cabin, which thankfully wasn't that far off from where she crash landed earlier, she leaned against the column. “Half of me didn't even want to try flying again. Meanwhile the other part of me thought it would be fun, retrying it out.  Obviously I should take more warnings into my account the next time I try anything.” The Aspect of Magic was often prone to recklessness, mostly due to her hubris getting in the way. When the angel child asked her what's her purpose for coming over, she shrugged. “Just came by to visit actually. But maybe we'll talk a few. I just wanted to know if he was able to retrieve what I requested for when I sent him and Tati to Greece. A double check. So I would know if I need to go there myself.” She wouldn't blame neither one of them for not being successful at retrieving them, especially knowing how shady Greece was.

“Your mother? Right. I know the feeling.” Admittedly, Malva didn't have the best experience around family itself, both her parents turning out to be devious little schemers themselves, especially her mother. “I was initially searching for Dom, but I won't mind switching for you. Better company than the guy, anyways. But don't say I said that.”

The way the aspect gave Siobhan the small smile, She could tell that there was something just not right with the smile. Maybe the aspect had just been in a bad mood and not wanting to show it, that was how a lot of people where around Siobhan, not wanting her to see their dark side.  Billie Mae had told her, it was her gift to make people feel a calmness. She didn’t know if it was a good thing or not. It was like her empathic abilities helped calm those around her. Maybe because she was always over emotional inside of herself, there was always waves and waves of emotions crashing inside of her but she worked hard on having a calm and welcoming exterior. So that others like Malva felt comfortable with her.

Siobhan keeping a hold of the aspect who clearly had a broken ankle, Siobhan naturally used her Clairsentience ability to help take away any physical pain she may be feeling. What Siobhan lacked in hand to hand combat, she came naturally skilled at her nephilim mental abilities, she had impressed Clarissa with how well she picked up on the skills for not knowing she had them for the vast majority of her life. Siobhan gave the aspect a slight smirk as she mumbled the sarcastic remark to her to her. “First time falling dragon?” she question raising a brow to the aspect. “Trust me you get use to rough landings after some practice.” she gave a chuckle.

Siobhan kept her mental hold on the aspect of magic helping her limp her way to the cabin steering her towards the garage or more of a workshop full of broken bikes besides the teal one that was hers and the black one that was Dominics. Moving her to sit on the bench that was there. Letting out a soft sigh as she got to work looking at Malva ankle, being raised by a doctor had come in handy. “Well at least you crashed out here where you would have been found, though…” she took off the aspects shoe and places on the ground before looking back up to her “Why would you ever stop flying in the first place? Coming from the point of view of someone who had no idea she had wings till recently, if I had them all my life I would never not want to fly.” She remembered the struggle figuring out how to fly but Dominic wouldn’t let her give up on it. “Ah yes greece.” she remembered him coming back and he looked like he had seen things that she would not wish on anyone. She turned her head to the aspect “I don’t think going alone is the best option. Wasn’t Tati almost killed on that mission?” she spoke softly as she began to set her ankle.

“Well I guess I should say the woman who raised me.” She said as she then began to wrap the aspect ankle making sure to keep her pain to the side while she did so, giving a chuckle. “Finally someone who thinks I am better company. Dominic doesn’t see it but he is so loved by everyone that he comes in contact with...Well maybe besides those he bashes their faces in and my mother. People are attracted to him like moths to a flame.” she chuckled softly looking up to the aspect. “So it will be our secret that you like me more.” she winked to her before setting the wrapped up ankle up to elevate it. Moving to clean up the cut on her head, being with Dominic she had gotten rather good at stitches. Siobhan focused on the task of helping Malva, something about helping someone else caused the chaos she was feeling early in herself to be easily pushed down, another reason being so is because she was trying hard to keep herself together after everything that had happened and not let others see her weakness.

“Sophia, my mother, the woman who raised me is rather harsh and doesn’t like the supernatural world even though the child she took in all that time ago was not human.” she sighed as she looked at the cut trying to figure out if it was deep enough for stitches or not. “She hates being her with Dominic and I, doesn’t exactly approve of my choice in who to…” she cut herself off. “Only reason she is here is because Dominic and I rescued her from a crazy group of diviners who were testing on pregnant woman. One of the pregnant woman is here and going to give birth any day and so my mother being a doctor is sticking around to help. Which means the last few months have been everyone walking on eggshells.” She sighed heavily before cleaning the wound and placing a band-aid over it.

The angel child was not wrong to detect the change of demeanor in Malva, because she wasn't exactly in the best mood lately and crash landing earlier just had worsen the mood by a 100 more. She hated being helpless like this, such as the part where she is currently suffering from a broken ankle because she rolled the wrong way. This is why you can always take precautions, Malva, she grumbled to herself. But out of everyone else that could've witnessed her this way, she was immensely thankfully that the person who's witnessing this change was Siobhan. Admittedly, Malva doesn't have a wide range of friends from all around, not those she keeps around anyways. But the nephilim is definitely one of them.

Sio radiated this pure energy around her that meshes well with her own synergy, which caused the Aspect of Magic to be more intrigued by what she has under her sleeves. There wasn't a time where her anger couldn't be subsided whenever she's around the flaxen haired female. Perhaps it was her innocent and fresh appearance in being able to understand others. Or maybe her caring nature, either way, she's not complaining the slightest. The brunette Ailward is a doctor, so fixing herself up wouldn't be a problem but she decided to go against that option and leave for Sio to mend her. Not because she's lazy, no. But simply because she actually craves care sometimes. A broken bone wasn't a surprise anymore for her, and this was coming from a witch who often makes a cut on her palm to draw her blood for magic.

However, she was grateful that the nephilim decided to use her clairsentience ability to take away the physical pain she was feeling. Just because she didn't mind it, doesn't mean it's still not leaving a throbbing effect. That was one of the things that really pulled the Aspect of Magic closer into understanding her, since every other nephilim she had the chance of encountering was more agile in combat rather than their abilities in that field. Malva is a magic user, of course she's going to find that amusing and entrancing. “I don't think I've ever seen any angel child use their clairsentience ability that much before.” She wasn't lying, she never actually got to see more of that on anyone else, maybe with the exception of Octavia sometimes before. Perhaps that was what the two flaxen haired women had in common. Wings to signify their purity and innocence despite having darkness loomed over, shrouding themselves, but had a nurturing and caring nature.

It was no wonder she felt at ease whenever she's with them. Malva is always so stressed by almost everything, so she needed that to influence her surroundings, no matter how brief it would be. “Yup.. First time. I did not like it.” she grumbled grumpily, huffing a few times to blow the strands away from her eye level. “But I don't want to get used to rough landings.. I've never crash landed like that. Not once in my lifetime.” Maybe she was just distracted or got rusty, which was actually still possible even for them. “But yeah, I should've just walked. But no, my curiosity peaked and wanted to test out if I'm still flighty.” And curiosity ended up eating the cat, or in this case; her.

Leaning against the bench, she lets out a heaved sigh. She's not going to be able to move around that much with the restricted movements due to her broken ankle. “I have no idea why I even stopped.. I guess I just don't feel it as well as I might have once upon a time ago. I used to fly to stop worrying. But nowadays, things are way too intense for me so I didn't resort to flying anymore because well, then I'd crash.. Which is probably why I even landed awkwardly earlier.” She didn't hide anything from Sio, they had their fair amount of small talks and she's very close to them as a whole faction, so there's not much to hide from her. “Gosh.. Maybe I need a therapy to sort myself out. Good luck in finding a suitable psychologist though.” she scoffed lightly. “God knows how messed up the screws inside my head is right now.” Oh did she have an idea..

She bit her bottom lip instinctively when she heard about what happened to Dominic and Tatiana. She should've known better that it wasn't going to be that easy to retrieve the antique. “Yeah.. That's my fault. I should've told them that it was dangerous even for me to send one of the top ranked guards to get it. Magic can't be played around without consequences anyways. If anything I should've went with them, but we know my brothers would tie me up on my bed before letting me go anywhere near.” Unfortunately, her siblings had the same mindset when it comes to her welfare. Malva is a meticulous perfectionist, she would not shy nor back down from any challenges that would come her way. She's a risk taker, but the thing is, she's also notoriously known for her perfectionist traits that would eventually weigh her down. “But I can't leave it under their hands forever. Too many chaotic mess have been piling around.. And Greece is like only 1/1000 of it.” Someone is really giving a run for her money.

Mal could relate to what Sio said about her significant other. Dominic had this charm to him that really entices people and draw them in like how bees would entrap themselves under the beauty of flowers. “Yeah, he's something. Charming guy.” She was glad he found someone like her for it doesn't take a brainer to see their opposites deserved each other, molding them into one perfectly. “I don't like people in general, I feel like everyone knows that, so it will stay a secret either way.” she returned the wink and chuckled softly. She quirked her eyebrows in questioning manner when she heard about a group of diviners experimenting on a pregnant woman, that's new. And very frowned over. “Really? Keep me around then.. It's not like I can go anywhere in this condition. Experimenting on a pregnant woman, I wonder what they want. That's simply off the books.” This is what she has been fearing from day one, if humanity was going to cease to exist.

Siobhan enjoyed the Aspects well those she had meet they all where so different in their own ways and yet somehow had been siblings for well over a millennium a time she could even wrap her head around. Though all the aspects to her had a look in their eyes of longing that she was sure they would never express out loud. Each was different in what she thought they could want. Yet even though they aspects where these powerful mythical beings it didn't mean they didn’t get hurt or break things like the rest of the beings on the world. So using her Clairsentience to help with the pain was just natural to Siobhan, she didn’t even think twice about it before disappearing to get the medkit her mother left around the place. She opened the bag pulling out what she needed before she began to examine the broken ankle while still soothing the Aspects pain.

Now Siobhan wasn’t a doctor nowhere close but growing up on a farm you learn a thing or two about broken bones. She looked up to the aspect after setting her leg and beginning to wrap it slowly as she tilted her head to her side and chuckled softly “Well I lack fighting skills, so have to use what I can.” she said as she looked down to what she was doing “I don’t like anyone being in pain. I would rather take it on.” she said softer which was rather true even though the angel child had been beaten to the point of death, shot, and raped. She still didn’t want others to feel pain, maybe it was because she had felt some of the worst pain around. She studied her wrap job for a moment before lowering Malva leg on the chair she was sitting in and moving to the floor beside it.

She wrapped her arms around her legs as she looked to the darker haired woman in front of her for a moment who was rather grumpy though Siobhan liked grumpy people for some reason. Maybe it was because she found a balance being around someone who had was just honest about the anger they had instead of hiding it like she did. “The first time you have ever crashed? Damn I crashed over 50 times my first week that I learned I had wings. It took Dom being a crash dummy till I finally got it.” she said remembering her time with Dominic in the meadow foundly. Siobhan watched the aspect huff out the reason she could have crashed and she let off a soft hum. “Are you sure you are not just blocked or something? I mean when I couldn’t fly it was due to my father and brothers death. Maybe there is something deeper.” she looked around to the garage for a moment.

“What are you worrying about Malva? I mean if you went for flights to clear your mind before maybe talking to someone would help?” She listen to her and raised a brow slightly and then she moved from the ground sitting beside her on the bench. “You can talk to me.” she said softly as she moved taking hold of the Aspect hands with her crescent moon scarred ones from where she would dig her nails into her hands from her need to be perfect. “Hey now.” Siobhan said softly moving one of her hands up to push back the aspects hair from her face. “There is nothing wrong with you Malva, you just are going through a tough time and need someone to talk too.”

She gave a shake of her head when the fact of what happened between Dominic and Tatiana came up. “Its not your fault no one could have seen what was going to happen. Even if they did sometimes things have to play out some ways even if we don’t want them too. There is no point in holding on to that guilt. What matters is they are both safe and home now.” She said as she stroked the aspects cheek. It was becoming clear to Sio that she took on  way too much responsibility of events that happened even if she had no control of them whatsoever. “You remind me a lot of myself actual Mal.” She said as she pulled her hands back to rest on hers “Constant need to be perfect but things happen which cause chaos and you blame yourself for what is happening and think you have to be the one to fix it.” she sighed as her hand came to the bullet wound in her chest. “Yet one day not asking for help could be the end of you Mal.” she said staring at the ground for a long moment.

She snapped out of the darkness that suddenly swirled in her mind as she focused her gaze back on Mal her blue eyes where full blown with panic before she quickly gave a smile and nod about Dominic. “Well even if you don’t like me I like you so.” she chuckled as she then looked to the door of the garage and gave a nod to the Aspect. “A dark diviner name Lucifer. He put a hex on Dom and exchange for whipping his mind of memories of me he would removed the hex and promised to keep him alive if I went with him to marry him.” She said softly as she told the story she didn’t want to tell. “I wasn’t the first though, he had been kidnapping girls who no one would miss and getting them pregnant then experimenting on them but Hannah the girl we saved won't tell us what kind.” she looked back to Mal “I was lucky that Dominic came and saved me before I was the next woman he impregnated.” she said softly. “Lucifer often talked about creating this greater race though. Told me my Nephilim side would be useful to having a child actually survive.”

Malva wasn't emotionless, no matter how often she would always put them in a dormant area in her head, there's never a moment where she's truly detached from them. At least there would be one of two remaining behind, the ones she'd eventually focus on. She didn't choose not wanting to feel anything, but how can she allow herself to feel the luxury of emotions alone when she knew the calamities that could come running after if she messed up? No matter how big of a risk-taker she is, that's one she couldn't amount to. Lately, it's been spilling though. One by one decided to make an appearance despite the incident 400 years ago, and she couldn't find the strength in her to push it away and make way for another room once more. Perhaps she missed how it felt to feel genuine. Like for instance, now.

She had to admit though, she never thought she’d suffer anything so mundane such as this, suffering from a cut after crashing as if she was a beginner at flying even though it wasn’t the first she’s flown in her dragon form neither was it the first that she allowed her wings to spread so it could take her to places. But God does it hurt like a bitch. The searing pain traveled all the way up. Broken ankle? Check. Broken head? Check. Broken heart? Double-check. And what of broken will? Mal found herself hesitating at checking that off. It feels like she couldn’t find her way back at feeling like she once was, and she didn’t even want much, only to feel okay and fine before everything fell apart. Glancing up at the angel child, Mal’s eyes softened considerably and she pressed her lips into a thin line, “Truly an angel child, aren’t you?” Physical appearance-wise, there was no mistaking that Sio could pass off as one, so finding the irony in the half-angel side of her always made the Aspect of Magic laugh. “Don’t worry about it, Sio, I don’t exactly have myself equipped with fighting skills either. All I can use is my head, that’s not really working all too well for me right now too.”

Sometimes, she felt pathetic complaining about it, but she knew the longer she kept it bottled up, the easier it will be for the future to determine how her sanity clings on the thin thread. Surprisingly, the meadow offered her such a good sight, it was peaceful and calming, it was as if the brunette could feel the air of serenity and tranquility surrounding them. “You have wings, I don’t… uh not really. When I’m in my dragon form, I don’t think much, I just use it as a mode of transportation to get to the other side of the world to settle some stuff. Dom will tell you using my portals may result in throwing your guts out no matter how many times you’ve used it,” she chuckled softly, finding the humor in it, perhaps she was already starting to lose it. It was a wonder how long she was going to be able to keep this in.

When the blonde suggested that there was a high possibility that her abilities are just momentarily blocked, there was a light to it. “I’m only able to transform into a dragon due to my aspect only. I think because I’ve been having a problem with my magic, it affected everything else just as well. Lately, magic doesn’t seem… tangible anymore for me. At least, light magic. I don’t dare to try and delve deeper into the dark side of things because of the temptations, I lost to it once, and it took a huge toll on everyone else around me.” What happened 400 years ago still haunted her till today and it was hard for her to just forget that it was there when she is the living proof that she stored away every book that held ancient witchcraft practices. “I worry about a lot of things… but some of those things just feel… personal and troublesome to talk to others. I don’t mean to burden other people you see…” Malva knew Siobhan could see where she’s coming from. Right now, everything feels wrong inside her head. There seemed to be nothing else.

Hearing words of assurances from Sio helped, in a way, it made her feel like she wasn’t too useless. “Going through a rough time…” she sighed unevenly, somehow her chest feels like it was constrained, strings from both sides gripping on her in an iron grip, threatening to burn it through had she intend to push it once again. “It feels a lot more than just a temporary thing, I feel like I’m drowning in my own pool of despair. And there was no way out, you know when you’re sense deprived and you feel lost in your own head? Yeah, similar to that.” Malva couldn’t see how she could get through it without losing a part of herself, losing her touch with magic is her biggest fear since it was the only thing she’s ever known to be good at. Then came the sore topic that she’s tried to evade for a while now, Tatiana and Dominic, where could she begin to start with that? The guilt that rested inside her heart was too heavy, so much that she couldn’t bear to ask another thing from them ever since the whole incident happened, it was why she never bothered to meet his eyes whenever they were in the same room and didn’t give him any further missions that were personally from the Aspect of Magic.

“My brother said I should learn how to forgive myself… but I don’t see how I can do that. How does one try to forgive themselves when the living proof of what they did wrong is still… wandering around?” This time, Malva stared straight into the blonde’s striking blue hues, begging for her question to be answered or given some insight on, anything. Anything to keep her standing still instead of taking the easy road and give up. “You said it’s not my fault, but how can that be if I knew what could happen and yet I still send them? I knew there was a high chance of them getting back hurt, it was a personal mission, one I knew just how dangerous it could be…” it was clear that Mal never quite truly got over this. A heavy sigh escaped the brunette who then leaned closer to the Nephilim and stared at the sight before them, she listened to her intently when she talked about getting and asking for help, “I wish things weren’t this complicated…”

Finding out about this man named Lucifer really did spark something inside her, it made the Ailward Aspect frown and click her tongue in annoyance. “Why didn’t I know about this? It happened on one of our guards… You should’ve come to me, Sio. Then perhaps we can rid you of the problem and settle this man.” A sense of protectiveness swelled inside her and she couldn’t see how she wouldn’t protect this woman; to Mal, Sio was a ball of light that they probably needed every once in a while. A greater race, though? She wouldn’t say it’s fantasy because deviant species are an actual thing, but no one knows of the risk it’ll bring, it’s likely that the carrier; the mother, would not survive the entire delivery. “I can help you track him down… if you want. I don’t like the idea of a rogue mad scientist diviner roaming the earth thinking he can do freaky things without attracting our attention.”

Siobhan looked up to the aspect of Magic who she had met a few times before at this point. It was always pleasant to talk to her. Though as Mal muttered out she was truly an angel child the girl could only bring herself to look back down to the ankle. Many had told her she was kind of like an angel, and that she could see but there was an ethereal beauty she believed she didn’t hold. “I don’t know about all of that.” she gave a soft chuckle and then nodded towards the aspect as she rubbed the back of her neck softly. “They say as long as you are doing things for the greater good then you are doing something right.” She shook her head softly “I think that is something Rissa made up to make me feel better about my lack of skill.” She raised a brow slightly “what's got your head all not working for you?” The longer she had known the aspects the more she learned that not many people stopped and asked them if they were okay. “Yeah will Dom says the same thing when Billie Mae teleports him anywhere. So I may not believe him fully on that front.” she teased about the light diviner she looked at like a mother.

Paused for a moment as she thought about how to say the next thought knowing it very well could be touchy for the aspect what she would ask. “Have you thought about stepping away from the aspect staff trying to get your head right before picking it back up.” She leaned her head to the side for a moment. “Dom says Reus does that, if he didn’t he would lose his mind.” She said as she tilted  her head to the side. “Maybe a break from it is what you need. Come and live the farm life, well maybe after you heal up some.” she nodded down to her ankle. She could see the haunted look in the aspects eyes. “You can’t keep it all locked away Mal, or else it will poison you, which to me is what sounds like is happening.” The young nephilim pointed back to her. “You are taking on to much alone.” Siobhan knew this habit well, she did it also and it almost cost her her life.”

Siobhan hand took hold of the aspect as she talked about being lost in a pit of despair and she took her hand and raised it to the Nephilims cheek. “You may feel lost Malva, but you are not alone. I won’t ever let you be alone. If you need anyone even just a late night phone call because you feel so lost. I am here for you.” Siobhan began to send subconsciously a soothing wave through Malva.  “Everything is going to be okay. It's going to be okay.” she repeated the words she herself only wished to hear. “You should listen to your brother. We all make mistakes no matter how long we had been walking this earth.” she said softly as their gazes meet.

“It's not your fault because that is what they signed up for when they joined the guard. That is like holding the United States accountable for soldiers who joined willing and died. It's not the outcome that you wanted to happen but they knew it was going to happen. And well frankly that dynamic duo are crazy as is.” Siobhan rolled her blue hues. “I doubt it was just your mission that caused issues. They both have a problem with being settled.” Siobhan gritted her teeth in that moment before letting out a frustrated sigh. The nephilim gave a weighted sigh as she squeezed her hand softly “I wish life was easy, but sadly it isn’t.” she said softly as she reached up tucking her hair back.

Siobhan gave a soft sad look. “I didn’t know he was hex until I stopped him from killing some man and the exchange was, well rough.” she remembered how Dominic hit her and that was one thing she was glad he didn’t remember. “Lucifer threated Dominic life if I don’t go quietly and Dom wasn’t going  to remember so there was no real way for me to get to you. Not to mention I was under diviner lock down 24/7.” Siobhan raised her hand and rubbed the back of her neck as she pulled back “We don’t need help tracking him down. Dominic took his time with him before Billie Mae took him to her cover to be but under magical something. He wasn’t able to walk by the time Dom was done with him though.” She looked down that feeling that she brought only darkness into the lives she touched was swirling. “Just wish none of it would have happened in the first place.”

Malva was never an easy person to approach, everybody else knew that. It was the exact reason why many chose to keep their distance and proximity away from the Aspect of Magic known for her abrasiveness and creative-minded head. The latter’s quality shouldn’t be frowned upon seeing as it was one of those qualities that actually made the purple dragon stand out better than most diviners, she couldn’t live to save her own life had it been up to her to live the physical life. Don’t get her wrong, Malva isn’t a weakling, she’s not someone people can toss around like a ragdoll once they were done with her. Due to Aureus and Erythreus’ reprimanding and training, she had to pick up a few things to know the art of defending oneself without the usage of magic. God knows how much of that she could use until she falls down from overexertion as usual.

But her special trait had always been her head. It was creative enough to enable the Ailward Aspect to tamper and create spells and the likes. It allowed her to manipulate the magical energy from any being and it was a good perk to have, for a while. Up until it eventually consumes her and left her to die. Rhetorically. Shaking her head at the blonde, she didn’t feel that way, Sio may not have been the best at some of what she wanted to do, but to Mal, it’s already a rarity to find someone who had the same humility and kindness she did and those people are the ones others should look up to. She does. In a way, Malva admired the angel child that proved everyone wrong by standing strong and fighting against the darkness inside her while not allowing it to engulf her thoroughly. She wanted that confidence and once upon a time ago, Argent would always tell her, her confidence intimidates people and it elevates her in another air. She wishes she could still feel the same way yet it’s gone without a trace now. Was she truly void without emotions now?

When she asked what’s got her head in a twist, Mal pursed her lips and sighed heavily, this is so hard for her to talk about, much less explain it, “It’s complicated, Sio” she started, the bottom of her lip was quivering in doubt, this would definitely paint her in another light. “I did something really bad 400 years ago and it’s come back to haunt me… I don’t think it ever really left me, the guilt, I mean… but now it felt so much bigger and I’m scared it’ll stomp me and make everyone I care about leave me. It’s that kind of fear” it was what she could conclude from all the nightmares she had. When she suggested leaving her staff so her source of power would be cut off, she contemplated it for a long while, “That could work… but there’s a problem there too. I enchanted mine as this amethyst pendant right here” she pulled the necklace out from her inner blouse and showed it to her, “It’s a source of my power. But it’s not just that either. I need to be in possession of it every single time because I need it to make sure the flow of magic is not disrupted. The worry of it being stolen is one thing. If I take it off, I know I won’t want to wear it again.”

The idea of having a brief vacation away from all those troubles, however, did make her smile a bit, “I’d like to do that very much… Away from civilization alone is more than good enough for me. Not too long, I guess” Since the Aspects were tied as one and there was no way they could be separated for a long period of time. “I know I can’t… but I can’t help myself. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know who to reach out to.” Seeing the way Sio was offering to be her companion for just that night or more days to come, to lend her a shoulder to cry on or ear to hear her out, it touched Mal’s heart, “I guess when you feel like you don’t have any purpose or direction in life, it eats you away until it eventually becomes you… all the emptiness.”

It’s quite the disturbing thought to have but knowing her, it wasn’t exactly surprising. The thought of Sio and Dom being apart tugs on her heart for some unknown reason, she liked them both, so the idea of them being so far from one another just doesn’t sit well with the dragon. “Just think about me. Call my name inside your head or something. If you call out my full name, it gives me a faster means of discerning who’s who. You’re a Nephilim, an immortal being, immortals are granted by magic and so long as I guard over the flow of magic, I can hear your pleas” she reassured with a soft smile. “Sometimes, we can’t stop what’s about to happen… we can try to prevent it but if fate wills it, it will happen one way or the other.”

Siobhan watched the Aspect go through the emotions in front of her, she could see the storm that there was more going on then she would express. She listened to the aspect as she seemed to be feeling more emotions than Siobhan was used to seeing in anyone beside a nephilim. Mainly herself. Siobhan took the dragons hands in between her own and looked deep into her eyes as she spoke. “If the people that you care about leave you over a mistake you made 400 years ago instead of staying by your side then they are not worth the time of day in your book. That means they didn’t care for you enough to stay beside you in your darkest of moments. When I know you would have been beside them in theirs.”  The young Nephilim smiled to her. “So don’t fear it stomping you out, It should fear you and the people who will stand beside you. Like myself.” She let her eyes swirl purple and winked to the aspect.

As the aspect moved on to her staff she looked to the necklace as she showed it to her and her eyes hung on the pendant for a long moment as she thought. “Can you not lock it away with the help of a diviner guard? Even for just a day to rest your body?” She wasn’t overly well versed in the supernatural universe as she had only been apart of it going on three years now. “I get the flow of magic is important but you are also important.” She said softly as she squeezed her hands gently. “If someone stands guard you can rest a little bit?” she had hoped that anything she was suggesting would be helpful in anyway,

Siobhan then got a smile on her face since she told Malva to stay with her for a few days. “I know! Since you are going to be with me, we could take the Amulet and bury it in the floor of the cabin and whenever you feel anxiety it's gone we can pull it out and you can touch it. It would give your body the break it needs while knowing its safe.” She offered as she smiled to the aspect not really wanting to let her leave the way she had come that day. Sio could see she needed someone. Sio had many people who had been there for her, it was nice to see that she could be there for others also. “You have purpose Malva, but I think with time we all lose sight of what our purpose was. I also don’t believe we all have a singular purpose in life.” She said firmly.

“Take my nephilim mark.” She raised up the side of her shirt showing it on her left hip. “It's the mark of the heart and love, and no one really knows what it means. It seems people just feel more comfortable around me. Or I draw people into me like a force but I don’t really know what it means. I haven’t figured it out yet. I always thought my purpose was to be perfect in every way because that is what my mother taught me. I am finding my way.” The mark had been her current fight with Dom. They were not clear if the mark made him love her of his own free will or not. “Even if it costs me, but no matter what my mark is. I like to think that I mean more than just the mark.” Sio knew better than anyone what it was like to feel hopeless that was all she felt lately but she was trying not to let it darken her.

She wondered if anyone noticed the three months she was gone among the guard. A lot of them seemed to not even notice though she wondered if they all thought Dom just moved on as she already knew he had brought other girls to the cabin and Garage. It was thanks to one of the humans that worked in the garage that mentioned her that he noticed something wasn’t right with his memories. Which even now there was something wrong with his memories as he couldn’t remember anything of how they met and stuff. It made her sad that he couldn’t remember how they met or their first night together and how he replaced some bad memories with good ones. Though there were pieces she wished he never remember like him being hexed.

Siobhan gaze focused back on her and she raised a brow. “Just call your name in my head.” She wondered, She had only ever called Dominic name out as she pictured him as her protector though it made sense that she would be able to hear her. “I will but I am hoping to avoid danger for a while. I am still recovering.” She admitted softly as she reached up tucking her hair behind her ear. “Not sure I could take much more harm to my body.” She sighed as she reached up tucking her blonde strand back “Being on the verge of death or maybe even dead I can’t recall. I know I reached out to Ery.” She remembered standing in his room screaming to him. “Just changes a person.” She admitted finally as she frowned deeply. “I’m not as shiny or bright as I had been. I worry from time to time the darkness will take over fully.”

This change in things shouldn't be foreign to Malva, a part of her knew that one day all of what she's done would eventually catch up to her and she would be left to own up to her own mistakes. Irregularly, maybe. Surprisingly, despite everything that has happened to the Aspect of Magic over the course of a few months, she didn't completely resent this. It led her to meet Sio today, after all. Surely that was a sign that all she needed was a temporary break from everything else, and like the blonde said, to let herself rest because god knows her body and mind needed one. "God I feel like I need a spa day… What's a dragon gotta do to get herself a one day trip of a spa treatment. Or sleep. Yeah, that works too." Insomnia was one thing that bothered the Ailward faction as a whole, especially her siblings, but like them, regardless of not being a foreigner to the feeling, her nightmares were actually vivid and it scares her because it felt like predicaments of the future rather than remaining in its default state; just figments of your imagination.

"I admire how strong you can be at times like this, you know" she spared her a small smile and dropped her gaze on the hand she held onto as if Malva was a delicate porcelain doll and perhaps she was, "I used to envy those people. I think I still do. I hated that they could be strong while I break down at the simplest of things. I guess back then it was easier to just vent your rage and resentment. Quite unhealthy but… what's new." Her right hand found the clasp of her pendant as she trailed hers down the amethyst gemstone that shone brightly as if it was actually interacting with you; like it was alive. In a way, it was. It is Malva's lifeline there. Take it as how one may. Keeping it away for one day sounded too good to be true because Sio wasn't wrong, it would grant her freedom for at least in the span of 24 hours. But it is also risky. "A diviner guard? We don't have a lot of those with us now… I guess I do have Iris and Bexley. But I wouldn't want to impose on them, you know. They have enough on their plate." But does she still want to take it off and give it a rest for one day? Yes. It sounded so tempting.

It wasn't until Sio came up with the idea of her staying for a little while and kept it locked away, "One day shouldn't be too hard… besides, I would feel if anyone was near by a mile radius or so, enough for me to rush back and retrieve it" the contemplation was winding her head and Malva was slowly finding herself easier to say yes and agree to this. This is what she wanted, she convinced herself. When the blonde talked about having more than a singular purpose, she pressed her lips into a small smile and unclasped her pendant, holding it in her hand while she examined every curve of the stone and how the silver wrapped itself around the stone securely as if it was trying to guard it. Malva was a bit of a sentimental person at heart so everything usually had a deeper meaning to it, even if they were just jewelry. "I have never taken this off since I was given it… that would make up 1200 years, Sio. I hope you're right…" she murmured softly and gave it to the female, extending her hand out and smiled, "I put my trust in you to find a place to keep it safe for a day." It was a risky move but Mal trusted her.

Her heart had been earning for a person she felt comfortable with that didn't have any pre-existing connections with her and this was it. It was the closest thing to one for her. "You are quite wise for someone so young" she quipped, an amused look marring her distinctive features. The thought of her own lover forgetting her would make her heart wrench and hearing that it was happening to Dom made Malva empathize with the Nephilim. She doesn't deserve that. "I may not have my magic the same way I used to have them but whenever one calls our name in their heads, we do hear them." It helps sometimes to know that it was a person in need that you could help. "Let's hope you don't need to use them anytime soon then, stay out of trouble, you hear me?"

Even though Malva looked the same age Sio would be, maybe slightly younger due to her youthful look and actions, she wanted to be seen as a big sister sometimes. It helps her find that significance. It was a small gesture but it works for her. "I know the darkness can be very tempting. Believe me… I know exactly how it tastes like. And I hate that it doesn't feel as bad as it should be. It offers me solace and serenity and I am so close to accepting it… but that is all a lie."

Siobhan gave a soft chuckle at Malva exclaiming how she could use a spa day and it gave the blonde a smile. “Well you see I don’t have a fancy pants spa but I have a hot tub in the back, and face mask, and rum, and I know how to give a backrub.” Siobhan offered her services as she knew that Aspects lives where stressful even more so than she would be able to understand. She only got pieces of the story from them all as they were still wary of anyone not in the guard. Though many guards and aspects have deemed Sio an honorary guard. She considered herself much more of a cheerleader for them. “Maybe with some relaxing you can sleep easily.” she offered a gentle smile towards the aspect of magic who she was sure was even more tired then she would express out loud.

“You shouldn’t admire me, I have put many people I love in dangers way recently because of my stupid need to prove I am more then just the damaged girl.” Siobhan said softer as she gave a slight chuckle. “Is it wrong of me to say I envy those who could vent in a rageful way instead of just cry like I do? I may not let many see me cry but it happens far more than I care to admit. Sometime I will tell Dom I am going for a walk and will sit in meadow you found me in today and sob openly.” She knew what it was like to have breakdowns and to hide the vast impact of them, until recently, that was what she did. As she watched Malva mind work over every possible bad thing that could happen she nodded softly “yes but you also have a lot on your plate and if you all work together then maybe it won’t be so much on you all the time Malva. I don’t dare guess how long you have carried this task but I do know it is needed. We all need breaks.”

“See I can’t see a reason you shouldn’t take it off and relax for a little while.” She smiled softly as she nodded “More than enough time to get back in and get it. And I also got my scary nephilim brain to keep you safe.” She tapped her head softly, and watched as she Malva uncasp the pendent and look at it. She looked to the way Malva held it staring at it deeply before speaking. Siobhan’s eyes widen slightly at the 1200 years, She knew the Ailwards where old but not that old. She took hold of the Jewel as Malva lowered it in her hand and chuckled softly. “No pressure or anything.” she joked slightly before she moved grabbing a box from the table she had crafted placing the jewel in it. And locking it before moving to her and Dom bedroom, moving the bed, pulling up the floor board and tucked it there among some other things she had hidden there. Pulling the bed back in place she returned to the aspect. “How are you feeling?”

Siobhan felt her cheeks gain some heat from embarrassment for a moment. “Pretty sure I am just stumbling around trying to figure things out one way or another. I just want to do so without destroying myself. If I figure that out, then maybe just maybe I can be wise for someone so young.” She said softly as she reached up tucking her hair behind her ear. Siobhan gave a soft nod towards her as she spoke. “I will, now that I know call on you when I need help. I am just hoping that will not be anytime soon. I can barely leave the house without being in fear now.” She said softly and honestly towards the aspect. “Yes ma’am.” She said softly,  her eyes watched her as she spoke of the darkness that seemed so welcoming sometimes. Seems like it could numb the pain and how it was all a lie. “Deep down I know that which is why I fight to stay out of it as hard as I do. Just some days its like there is another person inside of me ready to cave and I am not ready for that. Not yet, I hope never.”

After a long quiet moment the Nephilim stood up and disappeared into the bedroom and returned with two bathing suits. “A little Nephilim blood will have you all healed up and then! We get in the hot tub with some rum.” she smiled as she moved to the kicken and got one of the clean needles her mother left behind and held out to Malva. “Figured since you where a doctor you would prefer a more doctor way of a blood transfusion then drinking my blood.” She said as she sat down beside her. “I had to transfuse Dom once, after he saved my mom. He got banged up pretty bad.” she said softly as she waited for the needle. “I remember all the farm training coming in handy then.” she chuckled softly.

Malva couldn't help but to chuckle at the blonde Nephilim, truly she was quite the fluffball many claimed to be, there was a certain air of innocence that radiates off her and she may have found herself growing envious of that, she missed the days when she wasn't seen to be this person she is now; today. "That sounds splendid. You know, just because my family has lived centuries off in luxurious states, doesn't meant were not used to lesser" she smiled, she could remember the days where they struggled to live on what they could, "We barely had anything back then. We only ever depended on one another. Sometimes, my brothers would hunt for food and if nature was being generous, perhaps we'll get a bit more than just wild berries and nuts." The idea of being able to relax in a tub while sleeping her worries away did sound very tempting. She needed a rest, that much she can agree on.

"Maybe. I used to use chamomile leaves to brew myself some tea, before technology and modern era came to be, of course. It helps me sleep, that, and some sage. I sleep better when the air is clear because I won't have worries when I'm comfortable." Argent always burned her some sage to make sure she could sleep peacefully because nightmares had long been the norm for her. "But now with scented candles, things seemed to be coming in very handy." One of the many perks of the modernized era, she presumed. "Crying doesn't mean you're weak though. Sometimes it's the strongest thing a person can do. Sometimes… bottling everything up and showing others you're fine could eat yourself up. It did to me" she sighed heavily and stared at the meadow that looked so serene from her peripheral vision, "I wasn't always like this, you know. I wasn't all… cold and harsh. Abrasive, yeah sure, I always had the tongue but I didn't snap easily. I wasn't so miserable then" she could feel her heart wrench at that, she missed being fine.

"I guess because I let all the expectations get to me and mold me into this other persona that's not really me… fully, at least." When she chose to unclasp her pendant and gave it to Sio, she knew she was asking a lot from the Nephilim but the brunette hoped that she may be able to take this one day off out of all days. Just one is fine with her. "It sounds easier said than done, Sio" she jested playfully, and chuckled when she saw the look of surprise marred on her face upon finding out just how old they were, "Surprised? How old did you think we were?" She watched as the blonde disappeared for a while, no doubt to go and keep her pendant safe and sound because god knows what will happen if it falls into the wrong hands. Or any hand that doesn't belong to Malva Ailward. "I'm fine. A bit lightheaded on my part but that's expected. Mild concussion wouldn't be surprising with how hard I hit my head, for sure" It wasn't the first time she had hurt herself, anyway. Things were much more rougher centuries ago.

It was refreshing to see someone who had a similar mindset to the female's, she could see why people like the Nephilim. "Let's hope it won't be needed, I don't like the idea of you finding yourself in trouble" she frowned at the thought of it, she really didn't. The talk of temptation and darkness didn't come as something foreign to Malva, though she never talked much regarding it to others, not those she didn't need to talk to, it was a sensitive topic, after all. "Good… please remember yourself" she advised, the last thing they wanted was someone falling into the pit all because they were tricked into doing so. Her gaze fell on the needle and the bathing suit, which made her arch her eyebrows questioningly towards the Nephilim, "Yeah, I'm a doctor. Blood transfusion outside the hospital though? Definitely not something someone has suggested" she chuckled and patted the spot next to her as she rolled up her sleeve but pursed her lips and stared at the blonde, "You know you don't have to offer me your blood, right? I'll be fine… Ish."
