The evening was dull for a certain celestial. He's been stuck in his painting room, where every corner was filled with blank canvases and the shelves with paints. On the table not far from where he was standing, a variety of sketches were seen lying around. The entire space was filled with at least one thing, whether it was canvases or paints, yet the room still managed to look neat in a way. As neat as an artist can go, at least. A familiar bright haired star was twirling a brush around his hand as he squinted his eyes at the half done canvas in front of him. A drawing of a piano was messily sketched on the white surface with 40% covered in paint already.

Sighing to himself, the celestial peeked outside to see if it was an appropriate weather for him to go out. He's been sneezing non stop since yesterday and he'd prefer it if he would not have trouble with the sinuses again today. That, and the fact that he spent the entire night watching a rather sad drama on Netflix, which pushed against his tear duct to keep working. Yes, admittedly he finished all 16 episodes in one day because he just had to know the ending, which didn't even make him feel better because of how tragic it was. At least the road to inducing himself in an emotional surrounding worked. He wasn't thoroughly bitter now, and he received the clarification yesterday. The road in his neighborhood is literally piled with snow from every side it was actually funny to look at it from afar. Maybe if he could get out, he could receive a bit more inspiration.

And so, the celestial made the decision to walk around the park to see if anything was able to strike into his procrastination. He made sure the documents were settled earlier this morning for the clinic's renovation. It was finally finalized and done, much to his delight. He won't hear any whining from the rest with the exception of his own pets; Byul, Yeontan, and Jr, but at least they were able to return to a much more secure and comfortable home. He eyed his reflection in the mirror for a quick while before donning on a padded baseball jacket and cap, hiding his now magenta red hair that would surely attract a few attention on to him. Bold choice, since it was a lot daring but still darker than his previous red hair he sported before.

“I'll be back soon, don't wreck the house.” he reminded the two fluff balls, both Pomeranian and Husky puppies playing on the couch. The warning in his tone indicated that he wouldn't exactly be happy if he comes back to a messy living room. A small bark from the Pomeranian was enough to assure him that they won't wreck too much havoc, despite being so mischievous. Waving a goodbye at the two, he shuffled his shoes and locked the door using the key before kicking the snow off on his doorstep. With both hands tucked inside his jacket pockets, he pulled his earphone out from the duffle bag he carried and plugged it, leaving the male to his music land as he walked down the pavement, heading to the park in the city center.

The time on his phone showed 9 45 pm, not late enough for the city to be deserted. Usually Hanseol wouldn't mind being alone but after the recent attack on him, he had to be mindful of his surroundings and be careful. There was only so much he could do, especially when he doesn't like hurting people physically even if they were trying to hurt him. Not long after, he arrived at the entrance of the park and took a seat at a nearby bench, unzipping his bag and took out his sketchbook. Music does wonders especially when one was surrounded by a beautiful scenery. The stars in the sky reminded him a lot of his kind. So without hesitating, the fallen star began to draw the night sky. He's never drew them before. As usual, whenever he is drawing, he would always be in his own world.

Artemitra knew a little bit, about the struggles that Han was going through. After all,she had been in that spot once. Discovering more about one-self. And what she was, when she had first fallen. But the young one’s...didn’t have many years to figure it out. As they spent most of their life imprisoned.  So for some, like Han..it was a big learning curve and certain things, didn’t come as easily, as to the elder one’s. But to see, the younger one’s, now happy and making something, for their lives; like Hanseol was doing. Was indeed, a good thing to see. Progress. It was important, for all of them. Especially, after everything that had happened. Being, one of the elder one’s. She wanted them to be happy. Just like Phe did.

As Hanseol spoke about Ophelia. Artemis could understand where he was partially coming from. He was still getting to know her. “Well, given the fact you haven’t gotten to know her before. It’s normal to feel that way.” Artemis assured him. She was sure, quite a lot of the younger one’s felt the same way. Few of them, seemed nervous around Ophelia. Wether, it was her leader presence, or them not knowing her. Artemis noticed a few little things like that, living at the castle, with the others. At least, until they got to know Phe. But, she had to agree. Ophelia’s presence, was always a positive thing. And Artemis, considered herself lucky for knowing their Wayfinder, as long as she had.

It seemed like Han and Ophelia were getting well, from what she was hearing.  Artemis nodded with a soft smile. Listening him talk about age and maturity. The young Celestial had quiet a good point.  “Well, seeing you didn’t have much of a big chance, to learn more about yourself. It’s okay, to feel a little lost. It took me a while, to find myself. I am sure, you’ll get there yourself one day, too.” Artemis reassured him. He still had a lot to learn, about being a Celestial. And everything that came with it. “Don’t let it bother you Han. 3 years, is a short amount of time, to truly know and learn everything about yourself. Especially, considering what we are.” she assured him, with a gentle smile. Artemis noticed the faint scar, on the side of his face. For someone, whom was new to everything. It was scary for sure, to be hunted down. The elders, knew why they were targets for hunters.

Listening to his reasoning. The brunette pursed her lips in thought, for a few moments. “I am sure, others might help motivate you, instead.” Artemis said softly. Sometimes, it was hard to do it for yourself. It was a learning curve for some. Sometimes, Artemis needed the nudge from others, in regards to motivation. So she could understand where the young Celestial was coming from. Seeing his excitement, made the older woman smile. “Maybe, we will run into each other for sure.” Artemis said with a nod. She’d be more than happy; if that happened. “If you don’t mind, getting a little competitive.” she said, playfully. Artemis was always quiet competitive, when it came to a few things. As proven, by her and Phe’s playful interactions at times. But, of course she’d go easier on the younger one. Unless, he was more skilled than he knew. "If you want to try, something that might help. I know of a few things." she offered. There was no guarantee, it'd work with him. Like it did with her, but worth a shot.

Hanseol didn't have as many experiences in meeting other people coming from their respective species, and to be fair, he's only ever roamed the earth for the first 3 years of his life and adding the latest 2 years after being freed from his captivity that seemed to have taken a lot more toll than he'd led on. The celestial will never admit it outright but it was clear from the way he acted with everyone and literally everything around him, he's wary of his surroundings and always remembered to look past his shoulders every 5 minutes. It was upsetting at least to say. Hanseol was sure he felt a calm wave washing over him briefly. Perhaps, he wasn't wrong to open himself up a little bit more than usual. In his defense, it's already hard to find trustworthy people, much less those who wouldn't be tempted to use him for their own gain, as even the purest heart is drawn to darkness and there was something about Artemis that was incorporated with that, strangely enough.

The fallen star saw himself to be quite the good judge of character for the most part. Though he was sure her appearance doesn't do her justice apparently, the dark-haired female oozed confidence and headstrong traits seeping out from her, and it was refreshing to see a change in it. “I hope to get to know her, that’s for sure. I think it’s about time I step out of my bubble and scour the world, if not the entire place, Evermore’s a good place to start,” he mumbled faintly, pressing his lips into a fine thin line before smiling softly, “it wasn’t as if I had the time to scour the world when I was running anyway, sure I went here and there, plenty of places were a part of my memory but I can’t even remember the delight of being able to be in a foreign country and explore because I was busy trying to run from poachers and hunters alike. I feel like it’s a race to see who gets the bounty, a race to get the best meat for slaughter” he shuddered, a shiver ran down his spine from the thought of it alone, so reminiscing those days were definitely a sore spot for the young star.

He nodded in agreement, 3 years is a relatively short time to know a lot of things, especially for a young blood like him. Though he wasn’t as young as a few others, he was definitely nowhere near a century-old worth of mind, he still retained that youthful mindset to him, Phe told him it was quite likely because his growth was in a state of paralysis during his expansion while he was imprisoned. That could have something to do with it, sure. He was a bit relieved that he knew where he stood, that alone helped him find a bit of his identity, it wasn’t much, maybe… but for the fallen star? It was more than enough. “I have plenty of people in my life who motivate me a lot, and I’m grateful for them. Every single day. I make new friends as days pass by and I’m glad I’m surrounded by good people. It’s a blessing to have that luck, honestly.” Maybe he was lucky than most, he wanted to hold on to that sentiment and believe in it. It was what he owed to himself, after all.

A boisterous laugh escaped the doe-eyed Celestial who shook his head at the female with a smug grin of his own, “oh please, I’m sure I can make myself a formidable opponent. I may not be too experienced or well-versed with my celestial energy but my physical skills usually make up for it, so bring it on” he retorted cheekily, he could feel his childishness and youthful energy running wild in his veins and it did make him gleeful. His ears suddenly perked up at the sudden suggestion, “something? I’m up for anything honestly at this point, my ears are all yours, shoot.”

Artemis had roamed around the earth long enough, to have met different types of people. The good, the bad. Of all different species. And sometimes, it amazed her; how close she grew to certain people, that were not of the same faction as she was. But the female Celestial had always been a social butterfly; liked company of others and meeting new people. Or at least, before shit hit the fan with the Ailwards. Those events made her a little less of whom she used to be, and forming her into whom she was now. It took her a while to get back the confidence to be around people. Let alone trust.

She was glad to hear, that Han wanted to get to know their Wayfinder. “That’s good. She’s always been a good friend. Not just a leader.” Hopefully, it’d turn out that way for Hanseol aswell. Artemis often went to Phe; not just as her leader and Wayfinder, but friend if she needed advice and help. As he mentioned getting out of his bubble and scouring the world. The Celestial smiled softly. “Well, the world is a big and wonderful place to explore. Lots of places to see….and Evermore, it self has quiet a few hidden treasures too. It’s a good place to begin.” Since Artemis herself had been venturing out of the castle, on pretty much a daily basis. She found quiet nice spots and places, around the city. All worthy of photos being taken. As Hanseol spoke about his earlier years, running from hunters. She nodded. “That unfortunately, makes travelling a lot less fun. You can’t enjoy the beauty of the world as much, when on the run.” That was the sad reality. They had been wanted, fragile and easy to capture. No doubt, it was more unpleasent for some, especially someone like Hans, to go through that. “Well, now you have the chance to, see the world. Do the things you missed out on.” she said softly, offering him an optimistic, warm smile.

Out of the stars, she had known. Hanseol was quiet young. In spirit and personality. And it sometimes reminded her, of herself a little bit. Even though Artemitra was getting closer and closer to 4 centuries worth of life on earth; she definitely had her hyper, child-like moments from time to time. Especially when alcohol was in her system. Then crazy ideas seemed to flow from the Celestial. As he spoke about his friends, and how they were a blessing. Artemis smiled warmly. “That’s good. Keep them always close to you.” she said softly. Artemis for one, wouldn’t know what she’d do without her close friends. They made things better. So she understood how Hans felt about his own little group of friends; and she could see it meant a lot. Especially for someone so young, whom went through his fair share of strife.

As Hanseol let out that laugh. It caused the female to giggle. “That’s the spirit!” Artemitra said, smiling warmly. His cheeky response and eagerness for a little competition, made her smile. When the young Celestial showed interest, in some tips for the sleeping issue. Artemis smiled. “Well, These are just a few of the things that work for me,but it might be worth a shot. Herbal teas….fresh herbs are probably the best. I tend to go with Lemon Balm and Chamomile. Sometimes Passionflower...it’s supposed to help put you to sleep.” Passionflower didn’t taste the best, but it done the job. So she usually mixed it with something else. “I’d also suggest fresh Lavender. If you have it in a small cloth bag...or even stuff some into your pillows. The scent is always calming and helps ease me to sleep.” Granted. It didn’t always work, if the nightmares were stronger and potent. But it worked a lot more often. Giving her a clear piece of mind and allowing her to sleep.

Hanseol didn't have as much experience in meeting other people coming from their respective species, and to be fair, he's only ever roamed the earth for the first 3 years of his life and adding the latest 2 years after being freed from his captivity that seemed to have taken a lot more toll than he'd led on. The celestial will never admit it outright but it was clear from the way he acted with everyone and literally everything around him, he's wary of his surroundings and always remembered to look past his shoulders every 5 minutes. It was upsetting least to say. Hanseol was a bad liar, if you look close enough in his eyes that really does twinkle like stars most of the time, you can easily detect the truth inside it. His body language was also given in that. A part of him just couldn't give into the temptation to do any bad things, even if it's a small lie that will morph into a white lie.

Whilst others saw it to be a contributing trait, sometimes he grew frustrated with it since he will never be able to survive properly in this cruel world if he's all sunshine, rainbows and daisies. But maybe that's what differentiates him from others, the fact that he's still trying his best to stay on the happy bricked path even after what he's been through–strong enough to break anyone down. Thankfully he didn't need to do any of that around Artemis, she seemed truthful enough for him to let all the exterior fall down in chains and focus more on seeing where they can go from there. The quote ‘carpe diem, carpe noctem, carpe omnia’ was engraved on them, which meant to ‘seize the day, seize the night, seize everything’, which surprisingly holds a lot of meaning towards Hanseol today, since he is who he was. A celestial, if he had to live this life being apart from someone who’s supposed to live their entire life running away for survival purposes, then he’s going to do just that. But he’s not a baby, is he?

He’s known the bitter side of what the world does to the unfortunate and weak, yet he’s still here, trying to keep an optimistic mind about it. Perhaps that was what made Hanseol stand out, the way his mind works, it’s indescribable. She was right, their leader had certain air around her that would often intimidate those who don't know her as well, despite the leadership qualities sticking through, it was clear that she doesn't pose herself as someone people only need to look at as a leader. "The world is big, I just hope I'll have enough time to explore it, wouldn't want to leave it by" he grinned sheepishly, "Especially when this time I'll be traveling without using the reason of running away from hunters… That's a decent one enough." More than enough, now that he thought about it, most places he went to never caught a glimpse of him longer than a few days because he always had to move under the circumstances back then. An utter complication.

"I hope you will find things you like and do them too, Artemis. I won't say time is ticking but as of now, we're living under an hourglass, wouldn't want to be too hopeful" he had his lips pressed into a thin line, a somber look masking his features because he truly wished they can stop running. "Maybe we can hang out sometime later one day, I'm always around if you need to find me, my residency isn't that far off from the castle" Granted, his neighbourhood is quite near. Talking about ways to make sure he doesn't have difficulty with sleep anymore made him grin in delight, they were good ideas, he'll have to try them out soon. "I usually use Chamomile for headaches and I do fall asleep soon after that… it's very effective, thank you Artemis." He was grateful for her company and advice, sometimes that's exactly what he needed.

“I know we’re not invisible...but we’re still Immortal.” Artemis told Hanseol. “You have plenty of time, to explore the world...I am sure, it’s not going anywhere today, nor tomorrow.” The Celestial reassured him, as he didn’t want it to slip away. As long as he was carefull still, Artemis knew that he would be safe. He had his freedom back. They all did. Now, it was just time to decide what to do with it. “I am sure, if you bring your special someone with you, it’d give you even a bigger reason to enjoy your travels.” Artemis didn’t recall hearing the Dhampir’s name, that held the Celestial’s affections. But she gathered, he’d make a good travel companion for Hanseol. It’d be something to do together for them both, enjoy their time as a couple.

The younger Celestial’s words made her smile softly. “I have found a love for Photography. Phe says I have found my talent, I suppose. I’ve been thinking of looking into it more, for professional purposes.” So far, it was just more of a hobby and small jobs to keep herself going. But it seems like she found her passion, and something she was good at. The hourglass comment, was true to an extent. “I wouldn’t want to worry about that too much, might give us wrinkles.” she joked. Yes, the Ailwards were living in the city too. And that made their entire faction bit skittish. But there was hope yet...with Ophelia singing the peace treaty. Their safety and a permanent home was ensured. “I am sure, things will work out. No need to worry.” Artemis tried to be more optimistic. Although, some days, that optimism had failed, epically.

His offer was sweet. The two hadn’t really spent much time together; since their freedom. “I’d like that. I am sure you’ll find me knocking on your door soon enough.” Artemis did enjoy his company. With him living so close by, Artemis was sure; she’d find him. As her advice was received with enthusiasm, Artemitra nodded her head gently. “Glad to help. I have quite a big stash, if you ever need some. But yes...Chamomile is a herb of many traits...hopefully, something will help.”

Hanseol considered himself to be quite old-fashioned at some parts, where he remained oblivious to the changes around him. He still struggled with the technology surrounding the world today, and was a bit taken aback at how artificial intelligence took over most of what paid labor was supposed to do, and found it unnerving. It also didn't help that he is a homebody, who really preferred staying indoors comfortably rather than go outside and attempt to socialize. You heard him, attempt. It's a luck to see him even going to the supermarket to do some grocery shopping to say the least, which was why he always buys them in bulk so he can stock it without having any worries about it running out again. He's that bad. So believe him when he said he's one of the most boring people there is, though it wasn't as if he wasn't trying to join the community, he just couldn't find it in him to do so.

A part of him feels like he could relate to Artemis when it comes to being this mundane. He didn't tap into his energy until Phe told him to, so in a way, he has been living in a mundane life all this time. "I do hope you're right, Arte… I want to have more time to explore the world. I didn't get the chance to do quite as much in the span of 3 years" he grinned sheepishly, 3 years either seemed like it was just yesterday when he had his freedom or it was so long ago. It depends on his mood on what day really. The period of being locked up wasn't exactly a memory most of them wanted to reminisce. Definitely not something they want to have a walk down memory lane for. Upon hearing that special someone remark, his eyes lit up and he settled with a shy smile, "Yeah traveling with Jae sounds like a plan… maybe I can plan a vacation somewhere near… though car rides are a no no for me" he murmured to himself, his claustrophobia went as far as to car spaces but he's surprisingly fine with plane rides.

Han usually fails to see where the logic lies but always brushed it off or dismissed it easily. "Thanks for giving me such a wonderful idea to think about for the near future, Arte, I really appreciate it." No doubt Hanseol would rush to go home after this and start laying out his ideas on what activities they'd do. He was that enthusiastic. "I feel like we'd click very well in that area as well. I have my love for painting though it's not something I'd dare to bring into occupation realm because god knows if I'm good enough" he paused momentarily and pursed his lips lightly, "You should definitely give it a try again though. Passion is always the ultimate drive for art" he whispered. He always held a huge amount of respect to artists and curators alike. "Oh please wrinkles couldn't even come close to me even if it wanted. I am flawlessly young forever" he even went as far as to pinch his cheeks and smirked wryly. He really is quite childish spirit in a teenager vessel.

"Thanks for being so optimistic though, it's refreshing. You don't see that every day." He noticed the time on his phone display when he saw a message pop up, it was Jae asking what he was doing, a grin found its way to his lips as he got up from his seat, "Don't be shy to come knocking. I'd love to stay and chat a while longer but my boyfriend is on his way to my place and I kind of locked it, the keys are also here" he dangled up the jangling keys in front of her, "so I need to go and unlock it or else he'd whine about having to stay out in the cold." He took out something from his bag; a handkerchief he painted a lavender flower on, and gave it to her, "Here. As a token of our friendship. Thank you for entertaining me, Artemis. I'll see you later." He waved at her enthusiastically before walking away in the dark.

When it came to adjusting to the modern world around her. Artemis was both lost, intrigued and skilled in some areas. It depended on what the subject at hand was. Technology was the mixed bag. She knew enough to get by, and was still learning. As with her current occupation, she relied on technology. But there were still a lot of things about it, that she had no idea about. Instagram was something for one, she had no idea how to suss out yet. Besides Facebook, Social Media confused her. Especially how random things tended to pop out, even if you were searching for something else. But the last few years, she adjusted quite quickly to the modern aspects of the world. Better than some.

“As the old saying goes; The world is your Oyster.” Artemis told Han, with a soft smile on her face. She had to admit, 3 years of freedom and memories for the young star were probably short. He deserved to see the world, explore and enjoy it. “I am sure, now you have the chance...that you will.” she said with a knowing smile. It was like, she had a good feeling; that the younger star would be able to make up for the time loss. Discover new things and enjoy them with someone special. It made her smile, as he suggested planning a vacation with Jae in the near future. “Sounds like you better start planning.” she giggled softly, sensing his excitement. “Oh, Then I’d suggest trains or planes.” If he wasn’t so form on cars; there were other form of transport that might be better. More room to move around...if neither were packed.

Hearing him thank her, she smiled warmly. “Not worries, at all. That’s what friends are for, right?” Artemis said, with a warm smile. At least she could help somehow. “If you ever get stuck on places to go. I traveled a bit, so I might know a few spots you and Jae might like.” she offered. But that was a conversation for another time. Plenty to share and tell. Granted, depending on what they both like...they might not prefer some. But, she was always happy to share some destinations. “I think so, seems like we’re both passionate about the arts; in one way or another.” She agreed. As he spoke about not being sure, wether or not he would pursue art as a career. “Well, I am not biased...but from what I seen...you’re quite skilled. I am sure you have potential and a real talent. Worth perusing one day, as a professional once you expand on a bit.” she said smiling. Being truthful. Of course, it might take some time. It was a hard industry to get into, she was sure. Required patience, skills, inspiration, good eye for colors and combination. “I’ll be looking into it. I just need to do some research about certain areas first...to know, what I am heading towards.” Artemis had to agree, with his words. Passion did drive her, when it came to her job.

The Brunette ended up giggling, at his comment about wrinkles. Wrinkling her nose up cutely, as he pinched his cheeks. He did look endearing and adorable. Shaking her head, in slight amusement, she smiled.

“I try...although, I do have my bad days like everyone else.” But, despite that; she found ways to bounce back. In this world, you had to. Artemis didn’t want to waste away, with being negative all the time. As he announced that he had to go. She giggled slightly as he held up the keys. “Yeah, that wouldn’t be such a nice thing...letting him freeze. But I’ll be sure, to pop by soon.” She promised. When the young Celestial gave her the Handkerchief, she smiled. “Aww, well that’s very sweet of you. Thank you Han. I’ll see you later.” Waving back to the younger Celestial. Artemis smiled warmly, before she walked off in a different direction herself; back towards the castle. Putting the little gift, into her jacket pocket. Keeping it safe. The evening had been nice spent...finding herself looking forward to, meeting up with her Celestial friend, at a later date.
